Imagine trying to describe Jokic to your grandkids 30 years from now:
So there was this 7 footer who could dominate anyone in the paint either by straight bullying them or finessing them with sophisticated moves, snatch rebounds like no other, but he could also shoot 3's, must've had eyes in the back of his head because always completed ridiculous passes without even looking, had a one legged fadeaway shot that could rival that of any other legend, almost never got injured, threw full court passes like a QB, and did all this while making it look like he wasn't even trying that hard.
Your grandkids will surely think you're just making everything up

He is so damn smart. It's like he does all the calculations in that split second of what the highest percentage is going to be to score. He analyzes every player, where they're at, what percent their average is from that spot, then takes into account who's guarding them and how much that would lower or increase the statics of them making the shot, then after all that he makes an insane pass to the player with the highest chance of scoring or keeps it because after all the math he realizes he has a 83.4 percent chance of making a tear drop floater over any player in the entire nba.

If, however, he goes far in the playoffs this year (as many are predicting), then he will have a solid argument. Not many guys in NBA history revolutionised the game, Id say Wilt and Bill Russel as physical monsters back in the day, Kareem and skyhook, Magic and passing, Bird and shooting, MJ as probably the first all round type of player, Shaq as the most dominant modern time center and Curry with incredible 3 point shooting. Every other player that came after these guys is just a similar version of the older one (LBJ and Kobe is MJ type, Giannis is kinda like Wilt, a freak of nature ecc) but Jokic is the latest revolutioniser. He is the first point-center in the history of the league. Im not saying that alone is worth 3mvps but the fact he is doing it the way he is just might be.

Suns were great and Ayton + Boston Celtics' Robbert Williams and Al Horford are the only two teams who can slow down Jokic last two years, but not now with full Nuggets squad back on track...So, there is truth to the fact that Ayton is best defender of Jokic, but not so quite...And again, Draymond Green can't guard Jokic, he only could because refs allowed a lot of contact where they didn't blow whistle on 60-70% contact that should have been foul, but either way Murray + Porter were out and Jokic still got the game on them, and could have won another if not for the refs, and also Nuggets blew the lead in one of the games at the end, which means other than Boston and Grizzlies, Nuggets without Murray and Porter gave most trouble to Warriors last year :) . Did you see the post game interview with Aaron Gordon at the podium? Jokic walks in and he instantly stops his answer, gets up and lets Jokic take over. Even the Nuggets players understand who the big dog of the NBA is. I can watch his videos all day.

the thing about jokic is hes not flashy with his scoring but when you see the stats he’s obviously getting the job done with his insane post moves and shooting ability. But the cool thing about this video is it’s mainly his insane passes that just make him such a complete player.

Yeah i don't get it. Casuals say he's boring, like Tim Duncan, etc. But his passing is by far the most entertaining thing in the league since MJ. Its honestly so smooth and revolutionary it makes the rest of the league boring to me. It's like he's 20 years ahead, and the rest of the league is still stuck in the dribble heavy, guard/wing hard-carry dynamic.

he has all the skills of a great guard, but he also has the height to see everything, a mind that can predict everything, and he has the physical strength to casually toss a full court pass or whip the ball to the corner in a blink. He's like a high-schooler playing with the middle school kids.

As a born Serbian you can imagine how much I love Nikola and enjoy watching him play in the NBA.
After back to back MVPs even as a biggest Jokic fan I didn't belive he will have chances of winning it three times in a row.
MPJ and Murray are coming back from injuries so he will have less touches or just the good old voters fatigue, but...now that we are past the half of the season and he is playing like never before...
What do you think will happen?

2:40 I've actually made that pass in a game, although my teammate was making a straight cut from the left wing to the right block. It's one of the highlights of my hoops life. It's maybe top three for Jokic in an average quarter 😂.
