Incredible given that they basically handed the Jazz Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert! The trade for Aaron Gordon was genius and he displayed incredible growth in Denver. The bet on MPJ, and the acquisition of KCP and Bruce Brown was also huge in their title run. Respect to Jokic and the Nuggets for this amazing year they've had.

Watching this video brought back memories of when I was in elementary school, middle school, high school, and undergrad cheering for the Nuggets and now they won a championship😢

Real Nuggets fans remember the rough times in the late 90’s/early 2000’s through the coaches of Bill Hanzlik, Dan Issel, and Jeff Bzdelik.
I started around the end of Melo AI era, and really felt sad after Chauncey & Melo lost to Kobe. Then had some hope with Gallo and Lawson but that failed too. Now finally.
I remember Nick Van Exel shooting free throws from the 3pt line. 😅
That upset by the Nuggets in the 90's with Mutombo in the playoffs to make it past the first round.

In the Joker era they’ve lost to a T-Wolves team for the tiebreaker to get into the playoffs, got swept by a Suns team in the playoffs, lost to the Lakers not only in the bubble but every other WCF they’ve played in the past, and they got revenge on all of those teams this post-season. Not to mention how there was some beef with Miami after the Morris incident a couple years ago. So proud of this team, let’s go Nuggets!

I really wish you would do videos like this for nhl teams. The Denver team in the nhl won a title last year after 15 years of mediocrity including one of the worst seasons ever and they built through the draft just like the nuggets. Great work as always

This just shows how good at drafting their GM is
So many draft steals
They built around jokic and utilized everything from the Melo 15 trade to NY perfectly
It wasn't a perfect rebuild because they missed booker and Mitchell
But they clearly drafted overall and developed and coached extremely well
No blockbuster trade but very smart and great fit trades to go get the perfect pieces using the young talent they grew from the draft
Some free agents acquisitions and also free agents lost
But overall they quite found it all together this year with a perfect storm with everything fitting together and avoided injury

With the Warriors aging to the late 30’s The Nuggets will be the team to be a dynasty for the next decade if they can keep MPJ and Gordon where if they want to win possibly 2-3 more rings than they should stay. The only young teams in the west that come close is kings and grizzlies

I am so Happy for The Denver Nuggets and Their Coaching Staff: The New Roster in the making from 2015-2022; From Nikola (2015) That is 7 years. The Bulls New Roster in the making from 1984- 1990 from Jordan (1984) that is 6 years. Jordan and Nikola never left their team for another team.
