I had a little piece stuck and took needle nose pliers in the back where the paper goes and got the piece out, cause I saw no way to remove the back cover. Hope you can help in case it happens again.
@@lindabradford9591 I found out today...the top can come off completely. First, you have to pull out and up the display screen, then pull down another part under(the part with the serial number). Lift gently the display screen and it will lift the top to a small degree. To the left side where the power button is, there is a little sliding part you have to slide it through a little maze thing. Then it will lift completely. Now towards the back, there are two parts you squeeze together to snap out the top. Lol...no screws involve just snap snap....while doing that I accidentally temporarily fixed my feeding issue. The feeding ball at the bottom fell out. I somehow wondered if I can print without it, tried it and it worked, only downside, can only fit one paper in at a time. I saw a video showing how to turn over the printer and put it back in...I'll do that some other time. Right now I have work to do and can't risk it not working again
I was trying everything to get this printer to feed paper then I got agitated and went into full hard labor mode and dissembled the printer and found a foreign object in there now it’s perfect 😂😂
thanks for this video still!! I know it's old but I have this exact model and it's doing this exact thing I have my long paint brushes in hand and going to clean my rollers now I really appreciate the info! you gotta love UA-cam 😁
Thanks! I didn’t even have to go this far with cleaning it- it turns out something fell inside and kept misaligning the paper while being fed through 😑 I thought the new Epson eco tank et-2850 was junK before I even got to use it.
GREAT JOB! THANKS FOR THE TIP HOW YOU TAUGHT TO OPEN THE BACK OF THE PRINTER WHERE I GOT MY JAMMED PAPER WHICH I WASTE LOTS OF PAPER THOUGHT THAT THE JAMMED PAPEPR WAS INSIDE BUT NOTHING INSIDE IT WAS THEN I SAW THAT ITS AT THE BACK WHERE THE PAPER JAM..THANK YOU AND HELP ME LOT!!👍😍🥰
Many thanks for sharing. I've had this problem for a few weeks now and wondered if there was a solution? Will try this, seems straightforward enough. Cheers.
I had the same issue and I repair it a few hours ago after disassemble the device 6 times... The first time I found a torn paper that was 2x2cm from last year (I recognize the document). Then a scan error appeared, I disassemble again and failed but that allows me to understand how to disassemble the upper part of the device entirely. My problem was that my paper can't slide so the last time, I disassemble the whole thing and I really check all the little hole where the paper should slide and I found my bunny's pellet (3mm) in the middle hole... I took it with a barbecue stick with a double sided adhesive paper at the end. I used "Kevin at bch" channel with the video named "100016 scanner error" (there are 2 videos I watched both of them). If you don't have warranty like me anymore, I truly recommend to try this. And make a camera record while you disassemble so that you know the place of every piece. I recommend to be with someone to help because I couldn't do it on my own. I hope this will help !
Ive tried so many different things with my eoson et8550 and i still keep dealing with paper jams. Im able to do my regular maintenance prints but one i enter a dtf sheet to rear feeder, it grabs as if its going to print then goes back and shows "paper jam"
I would refer to the epson website and user manuals as that printer is quite expensive you wouldn't want to break anything and I can't advise properly as I don't have that model unfortunately.
I have the same crooked paper problem! Despite it being tightly within the blue tabs it drags one side of the paper down and feeds it through at an angle and it folds the corner when it feeds and doesn’t print properly. Printer is 18 months old ET3800 and done 2 whole sets of ink. Thanks for the back panel tip, I will take it off and report back …
I had to take back panel off to clear paper jam. Now I can't get the back on properly because it won't feed paper at all. Is there some trick to aligning the back panel? Thanks
I don't mean to be critical but you need a stronger microphone I can't hear you and it seems to me a lot of other people are the same way looks like a good video we sure could help have help
I have the same model and the same problem. I did all of this and it's still happening. I cleaned every roller i saw. This is the second one too. The first was broken out of the box. Then they sent me a refurb instead of a new one. That's the one doing this. Never again.
What happens if you do this and it DOESNT help? Says paper jam or foreign object and theres no paper jam- it was happily printing away and then just STOPPED. I have one day left to send it back and i know its not broken... wits end. SOS
I learned the back part came off on my ET-2800! I clicked a little white plactic part back into place and now it works again, thanks.
How'd you get if off? I have the same model. Thanks in advance.

just be really careful and take your time so not to damage anything.
I wa so relieved when you showed me how to remove the back plate… I had cut my thumb trying to remove my jammed paper
I have an Epson Eco Tank 2400 and this worked for me. Thank you!! 😃
Great to hear!
Thank you for posting this, I appreciate you! Going to try this on my printer❤

you can try what i said in the video and/or different paper if possible.
Would the inside rollers be the cause when the paper feed stops half way into the feeder?

Hi my problem with my Epson Et - 2850 is that the paper feeds to one side than clumps together at the bottom.
Ive tried so many different things with my eoson et8550 and i still keep dealing with paper jams. Im able to do my regular maintenance prints but one i enter a dtf sheet to rear feeder, it grabs as if its going to print then goes back and shows "paper jam"
YOU ARE THE BEST!!
What alcohol dilution do you recommend?
I’m having issues with it pulling the paper in the right corner is catching and it’s getting stuck or pulling the paper in wonky. What can it be
Thank you this worked!
When you get a chance, please redo this with a higher resolution camera and better illumination.
I can't remove the back part on my et-2726, I don't know what to do with that phantom paper jam... Can someone help please
😄Very helpfull video
Do you happen to have a video for this on the ET 2400 by chance?
I don't but these printers in the same model range are similar.
i think a tension spring fell out when i tried to clean it 😳😳 how do i fix this? my paper won’t roll
Omg same thing happened to me!
I have a Epson ET-15000 how do you take the paper tray off of the rear feed to clean those rollers? Thank You

Would that cause my printer to print crooked ? My printer is printing crooked !
check the paper is seated right and guidelines are where they need to be.

How many printed pages does it take to readh this point? For me it was around 50k
depends on the paper/environment as well, for me it was 7k~ then i switched paper and problem hasn't returned
I need help here, i have a new L6270 with paper jam issue specifically with sticker photo paper, normal 80gsm paper prints well.
have you tried changing the paper type in the printer preferences?
@@DanielJohnHowTo yes, tried to change to photo paper, glossy, prem glossy but on all occasions they jammed
Can the rollers be replaced?
I haven't ever tried, but probably if you have the time and supplies
This wouldn’t work with my printer. I opened it up and several of the cogwheels fell out, so it’s screwed.

the part that you squeeze two bits together??
Get a good look at the backside of it it has tracks the gears on the side sit on, it goes in pretty straight
When cleaning a small expansion spring came loose from below bottom roller does anyone know where this attaches to
i think i have the same issue! did u end up fixing it?

if you have tried everything, then it could just be faulty.
Man, someone should reinvent printers, this is dino technology
