Revised procedure: USE MICROFIBER CLEANING CLOTH WITH GLAS WINDOW CLEANER. 1) Cut microfiber kitchen cleaning cloth into A4 size. 2) On one rub the window cleaner into the area, were the paper feeder role touches the cloth. 3) Put 20 sheets of A4 paper into the paper tray 4) Put the cleaning cloth on one A4 plastic sheet and put it on top of the 20 sheets into the tray 5) Run at least 5 printing jobs (you always have to reset and restart the printing job.) 6) Turn the cloth with A4 paper 180 degree and run one print job for drying the role. 7) Now… your printer should work again !!
Thanks for the idea. I have used similar double sided tape as in the video, but hasn't risked to let it go through the printer. Instead I cleaned the rollers without turning the printer on. I have attached a piece if tape at the middle of the shorter edge of an A4 paper and moved it a bit back and for in the normal loaded position by hand. It cleaned the rollers gradually. Now my printer feeds perfectly. Thanks again. :-)
6 years later and you're still helping people solving this problem. I didn't have double-sided, so used regular scotch tape and taped several pieces together facing up and then taped them down to the paper on the edges with another piece facing down. It took several passes, but now my printer pulls paper in like it should. Thank you!
OMG, this really worked!!! I was so frustrated!! If you already are on your last nerve, just fast forward to 4:30 minutes in. First I had a paper jam, then the printer just kept mangling each subsequent page ... DO THIS ... Use one piece of card stock paper and a couple strips of small double-sided tape on the card stock. This is the best part ... LOL ... jam this paper in and out to relieve tension (if you were frustrated like me, haha) and the dirt on the inside roller comes off on the tape and then the roller has traction again!!!!! It literally takes 20 seconds (unless you have a ton of frustration to get out!!!!!) FYI DO NOT put that sticky paper on the floor if you have nosy cats .... yep, mine stepped RIGHT ON IT before entry!! Thank you so much for saving the printer from the trash and me from angina!!!
It’s 2020 and this still works, had my crappy work one break and then my home printer had THE SAME EXACT ISSUE. Not only was HPs help video worthless, this video saved me from throwing my printers out a window. I used a lint roller sheet and it was perfect. Thank you so much for this!
Thanks for the tip! I was actually able to reach my printer's rollers with a q tip and some alcohol. I wiped them for a couple minutes, let the alcohol dry for about ten minutes, and it started printing just fine!
the alcohol will dry out the rubber on the rollers with time. condition with a" LITTLE" coconut oil and feed a few pages threw to make sure all the access oil is off the rollers
Thanks man! I didn't try your method since double tape isn't available but it was urgent for me to clean the rollers. With your video, I suddenly got an idea. What I did was: I made the end of a blank paper a little bit wet with water and a bit of alcohol. Just some drops of water on my fingers then spread it on the end. I saw some dirt that the wet end of the paper managed to remove. Then I decided that I should still clean it more, so I put some alcohol on my fingers and slightly wet the ends of another paper. And more dirt removed. The result: feeder roller became more smooth. I don't have to put only one paper one by one whenever I need to print many pages or copies. :)
THANK YOU, Liked and Subscribed, thank you, I used some duck taped taped to a ruler upside down and it worked!!! Got the ruler under the rollers and it got the dirt off.
About to buy replacement printer found your video ordered Amazon Prime- 24 hour delivery -double side tape 2inch-cut A4 size small box cardboard sheet stuck length of tape sticky side up on the leading edge-to the edge-then with printer off pushed the cleaning board in and out a few times felt like an inch or so,-easy in tougher out then turned printer on with maybe 30 sheets or so in the loader and Bingo no issue the first sheet went straight in! Job done thanks to you, much appreciated well done! Mike
I used my ruler and tape the ruler with a normal tape because I didnt had a double sided tape and cleaned the roller, and it worked. MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
Thanks! Cleaning the rollers is the definitely the way to go. I used a metal ruler with double sided sellotape and with the printer turned off I pushed it back and forth under the rollers. With your other hand use a long flat headed screwdriver to hold down the mechanism which holds the rollers (basically like an aircraft undercarriage) to ensure you get a tight fit when you squeeze the ruler between the platform below and the rollers. Worked for me and no risk to printer.
Yeah, my problem is that my printer's roller has ink on it, which gets in the paper before the actual printing... I'll try your method as it may work in my case!
Someone suggested pushing through a piece of cardboard, scary. I cleaned it with a qtip right now, got some oily mess and now it's working again. Thank you mate.
Please tell me how you used the lint roller paper....its my last resort. I tried alcohol, scotch tape it fed one time. Then I was back to force feeding with my hand. Thanks in advance.
I love how all of the comments here are as useful as the video. Thank you for ypur tips! I'm having the same issue on my own printer. Hope this video and/or one of the comments here will help me fix my printer 🤞
Thank you so much for this video, I was so focused on trying to reset it and get rid of the error rather than trying to solve the issue at hand. I almost destroyed this printer out of frustration, but this video saved me so much time and gave me such relief. I tried putting the cardboard in and then printing it out and once I did that the cardboard came through and with it included a piece of a sticky note that was jamming it! And afterwards it printed smoothly and perfectly. I cannot express enough gratitude for this video! I have a Canon Inkjet MG2522.
Posted 5 years ago and saved my life today!!! Thank you so much for this, I was devastated not being able to load paper and so much urgent printing to do. Thank you!
hey man, just wanted to thank you! i was just about to visit a printer technician tomorrow to have my printer fixed. but your double sided tape gave me an idea. i instead attached a regular tape to a piece of paper and made sure they wouldn't come off easily even if i hold on to the paper so it doesn't go in completely. after a couple cycles doing this, it works now even with just a single paper. thank you man, really really thank you!
This video gave me ideas so I appreciate it. I ended up using a pencil, taped a q-tip to it, wrapped tape around the end of the q-tip and ran it across the rollers a few times and that worked for mine!
The method really works! I used regular one-sided tape, taped down using margins on the sides. I had to pass the paper a few times before it started to work (so probably regular tape is not sticky enough), but after that it correctly fed paper like before.
Thank you so much for the tip ! Instead of using double-sided tape, I used a sheet from a lint roller. Stuck it to the top of an envelope and pushed it under the rollers a few times. And then it just started working again.
This totally work!!! Paper was stuck in my printer from the back and I was panicking and searching at the same time for a UA-cam video that could help me...Then I found you :)
Thank you so much! I didn't have any double sided tape so did as someone in the comments suggested and used a sheet from my lint roller. I stuck it on to a piece of paper with sticky tape and fed it through the printer just once and it's now working great. Amazing how much dust and fluff came out on the sticky paper!
Wow It worked for me thank you so much 😊 . My printer was troubling me for many days finally i searched on UA-cam your printer looked similar to my printer so I watched your video 1st . No wasting of time watching other videos😄
Thank you so much for this video! We were about to give up and buy another printer! My husband did exactly as you said, with double sided tape, and it worked like a charm!!! Amazing!
Works 100% fine. Cleaning with double tape won't damage your printer. what I did: take a thin cardboard (cornflakes box) (cauz paper might tear and jam in printer) apply double tape in the end only (horizontally) let it in and out of the paper tray manually (keep printer off) You can see the dirt in the tape. repeat above step until the roller is clean. and your printer is ready to rock and 'roll'. thank you so much for the video.
This worked for me as well, I didn't dare feed the printer automatically with double sided tape on paper and this manual method is totally safe! (The tape i had at hand is very sticky, meant for carpets)
Shakthi Vel Thanks soooo much for this tip! Worked like a charm. I've been dealing with this problem for a while and I was ready to toss my printer and get a new one.
Thanks for the video. I happened to find a "Paint mixing stick" and "Painter's tape" in my garage. I taped a sticky side up tape at then end of the stick. Then used it to clean the wheels with other stick to hold and push down the wheel unit. It works like a charm.
I used a piece of lint roller that I use to collect pet hair. Some rollers have removable sticky layers whichs are less strong than double sided bands. Staple the sticky paper on a sheet and get a hold of it to prevent it to be taken into the printer. It worked for me.
EASY METHOD... Few sheets of paper, spray the end with Isopropyl Alcohol, the run roller cleaner (hold stop for 7 flashes). As rollers go, help paper in a bit if need be, but then hold it in place so rollers spin over the alcohol. Do it a couple of times if needs be. Easy, no mess and the cogs don't go mad clicking like crazy.
I like your video because it shows the feed rollers spinning and not picking up the paper. I have an MX472 which is very similar in design. I cleaned the front feed rollers using a cotton swab, alcohol, tape, and a stick. I taped the swab to the stick because I couldn't get to the feed rollers any other way than through the paper feed slot and I couldn't reach them without the stick. I vacuumed out the printer as well. Once the rollers were cleaned they picked up the paper.
Thanks. I have a similar printer to you, and your video helped me work out another method. I used some narrow double-side sticky tape on my finger to dap onto the pad at the bottom of the paper tray and the rollers above it. I did this by looking into the printer with the paper tray out as far as it goes for the pad on the paper tray, and by lifting one edge of the printer while the paper tray is out to access the rollers from the underside.
Just tried the double back tape method & it worked great. I lined up 3/4" strips about 4' long to align with the rollers & ran it through the printer numerous times. After that, I lightly wet the strips and paper along the roller path to help remove remaining dust followed by new, dry paper to remove remaining water, it worked great...printer takes paper perfectly now, thanks for your great suggestion.
Yay this actually worked!! I tried another cleaning hack first with isopropyl alcohol on a wipe taped to a piece of card and that didn't work...so I repeated that with this method, double sided tape over a piece of cardboard, and it picked up some hair (I didn't run it through, I pushed it back and forward whilst it was trying to print a test page). It's just a central roller on a Pixma MG4250, I was so skeptical - it works! It's even picking up my thick cardstock by itself, thank you!
Great video, just like to add a tip, check for obstruction say for example a pen lid🤣 found a stray one in mine causing havoc couldn’t see until I pulled it apart a bit. But might have come out easily if I had turned it upside down. All good now👍
You’re a superstar! Thank you! Have been hand feeding paper for a while now....Didn’t have double-sided tape so just taped down 3 strips of regular scotch tape sticky side up and used qtips with alcohol on rollers...(must wait for it to dry!)..working beautifully!
you can make the double sided tape less sticky by repeatedly pressing some material like denim (jeans) on it, or some cloth that doesn't leave bits of fluff.
Paper Feed Issue resolved: Canon MX 472 Should work well for other similar printers. This UA-cam video made me take the risk below. I was hoping it would work or throw out printer. Previously used Rubber Rejuvenator, alcohol, water. No luck. This worked. I had to junk 2 printers that I got for free before I did this. My Steps: Took basic file folder and cut to 8.5* 11 similar to basic standard printer paper. Took Product: Touch ‘n Stick Spray Construction Adhesive Professional All Purpose Formula that I had in my shop for many years but can still buy doing an Internet search. Sprayed about ¼ from of the top of the cut file folder. Waved in air for about 5 seconds. Pushed the top of sprayed cut file folder into input tray so that it would move the pick-up roller back and forth about 10 times smoothly and fairly quickly. Do not let the folder just sit touching the pickup roller or bottom of area pickup roller sits, keep on moving back and forth and then pull the cut folder out and away from the printer and into the trash. Walked away for ½ hr. Took my paper feed just fine. After a week still working. Feeding paper and printing. This is my first post to UA-cam because I share everyone’s pain and expense.
I was about to buy a new printer under absolute frustralition. Your video allowed me to go a step further. Unplug the printer, turn it upside down, my printer had 4 philips head screws holding platic guides, remove 2 guides for the paper tray, removed them, removed the paper tray then peeled the rubbers off the pickup rollers then washed them with brush in dish washing liquid and water, dried with cloth (not tissues, they have oils), reinstalled on the rollers (already could feel the rubbers were more grippy) then reassembled the tray and guides.. Re plugged the printer and whoa, the printer was throwing the paper in.
Thanks for the tip. I was worried about getting the rollers stuck, so instead I squirted some isopropyl alcohol on the paper A4 sheet to wet it and then pushed it through but grabbed the top of the sheet so that the rollers just spun on the wet paper. This did the trick and now it picks up OK.
Thank you Sir, I saw your video and it fixed my problem nicely. I was lucky to be able to access the rollers so I could feed the paper with sticky tape through manually with my fingers while the printer was powered off. It's a very clever simple solution that many people would not think of.
Using this method with less aggressive tape works great. Fed the paper with tape twice thru the printer and have not had feeding issues since then, but maybe some time in the distant future I might need to go thru this process again.

Depois disso, funcionou perfeitamente :) Thanks for video!
Thanks, this helped me, too! Before this video i did not even imagine to check if the rollers are rolling. Once i figured they are, i took a 30 cm ruler and stuck some wide tape around it, sticky side out, and cleaned the rollers with that, further i wrapped that same ruler in an old tshirt that i moistened up and again cleaned the rollers. Seems to be working at least for now, and so happy i dont have to immediately cash out on a new one.
Thank you very much! I tried a variation of the dubble sided tape: I glued a sheet of sticky notes upside down on a normal paper. The glue on the sticky notes did the job after a few repetitions.
WORKS 100% Thank you very much, mate. It really works just fine. The printer does not have any issue malfunctioning or something, you just need to be a little careful during the process of inporting the double tape-paper. Thank you again. P.S. Canon Pixma MG3150
Thanks man, did the same thing with my Epson Ecotank L3151, and worked like a charm. Keep in mind that Epson in its Ultra Glossy papers includes a special paper with glue to clean the pickup roller. I had some of those that do the job, but i was run out of them.
Just used a flat ruller, on which I fixed with an elastic on one end, a computer wipe. I put then some hydroalcoholic gel (for hands cleaning) on the wipe, to have it more wet. Then I placed the wipe juste below the 2 transport wheels, and using the ruller, I forced the wheels upwards. Then I start a print (copy), the transport wheels turn a bit then stop with the "no paper" sound. I click "Ok" on printer, and then several times again, to force the little transport wheels to turn on the wipe, with ruller still in place and pushing the wipe upwards on the wheels. After 5 or 6 times, I felt the little wheels were drawing more onto the wipe and ruller, so I stopped and waited 10 minutes to dry completly. Then I tried with paper sheets, and the transport wheels were working perfectly as new :) ! Thanks for the idea of doing that, I was about to brick that 8 years MX535, but now it is working yet as new :D
It really works! I used a very thin and soft ( i mean not too much sticky) double sided tape and printed a blank page several times. even I heard not any strange sound when printing. It just normally printed the taped page and is correctly working after then. Thank you!!
Thank you! :) I don't think they like these videos. I wouldn't recommend to buy a Canon Inkjet for home use. Make your next printer a laser, HP/Samsung/Brother and it's all good.
OMGoodness...... this technique just pushed out a piece of cardboard half the size of my hand. It was definetly not the uncoloured piece I pushed in as shown and got my TS3160 printing..... how the heck did the coloured carboard get into my printer..no idea ... All good now .. thankyou :)
I have a pixma mx475. For double sided tape i got post-it notes turned it upside down, sticky side up and taped it to an A4 sheet. Sticky enough for this task. While printer was off, pushed it in and out of the roller. Also the pad the rollers sit on gave that a clean too. Thanks for the video great help.
Great video. I just had to clean the rollers (easy access on my Canon MG5750 just by turning it over and pulling out the paper tray) and instant success. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
Thank you! I bought a printer from a garage sale and was about to chalk it up for a loss until I did what was on the video. It worked. I didnt have double sided tape so I tape three pieces sticky side up vertically and attached them with tape horizontally at the top and bottom
This fix the most front feed printer problem. it seems stuck but when the roller cleared from dust it will feed the paper. i have to do the tape twice to make the roller feed papers smoothly. thanks for the video!
Great little video. Very helpful person. I never had a paper jam that I couldn't see from outside and never saw the thingie in back that exposes the rollers. Thanks very much. *****
You are genius man...it´s works!...But i did different, i put some paper (sticker letter paper) and put litle talcum powder to reduce the glue and put off the mashine and then i introduce the paper one and other time, maybe 4 times, for the wheels tuch well the paper and fix the problem! Thank you very much!
Really excited about your comment! Makes me very happy! :) It's amazing how easy this problem translates to buying a new printer. Thanks for saving your printer!
Hello, great feedback, I have the same problem and was thinking about disassembly my printer for cleaning, but this could be a huge mistake, thank you for review
Thanks! So, I read the other comments and had a think. Was worried about the doubles sided tape and paper getting stuck. So here's my upgrade on your initial great idea. 1. Got a large plastic ruler that was wide enough for to get under both wheels. 2. Double side taped on a strip of cotton (mine from a rag that was daughters old school sports shirt, mix of cotton and acrylic I guess? It has a rough weave) to end of ruler. 3. Soaked cloth in isopranol Alcohol, placed it under the wheels. 4. 'Printed' a blank sheet multiple times, pressing the green button (lower left) each time printer complained there was no paper. 6. Did this about 6 + times ... and lo and behold ! the next sheet of paper I printed worked. NB - the bonus of using the Isopropanol was the double sided tape came off my ruler easily - but it stayed strong enough to not have the wheels pull the fabric off. Hope this adds to this excellent, 'right to repair' video. Too many printers get thrown out that can be easily fixed !!
Wow thank you for the upgrade! Small problem with alcohol on rubber but it would be wiped off the rubber rolls after printing just a few pages so it's fine! :)
I had already tried cleaning the feeders on the paper side, then I saw him trying to force the paper through and tried that. When I did a piece of moss popped out from deep inside the feeding mechanism o.0 Solved my problem in less than 5 mins and I didn't even have to watch the whole video ^^
Thank s for this video , I was about to throw away my printer ,but I gave it a try , using a tape and found out a coin stuck on the tape ,when removed it got back to normal work . thumbs up!
Have an old Pixma IP1600 - this is an old-style top feeder. The right side roller slipping and sheets either don't feed at all go into printer cockeyed and chew up paper. Tried roller cleaning, no luck. About 5 shts of soaking paper with alcohol, still no luck. Light spray of adhesive spray on paper, started getting better, so did about 10 shts of light adhesive spray, each time got a little better. Now all good.
Ok tried it with the instructions. Tape got wrap around the rollers and I thought that's that then. So took pliers to unwrap the tape from the rollers and thought it's not going to work. Guess what, IT DID!! great tip and thanks. Like brand new
Going crazy this morning thinking about wth is wrong with my printer! and finally stumbled into this video. The problem is only one side of the roller is taking the paper. Tried the cardboard and the double-sided tape but to no avail, it still not feeding. Until I checked the inside and lift the feeder until I saw a Crayola crayon inside! lol, So my advice is also to check inside, check everything! wasted my time the whole morning trying to figure out whats wrong! . haha
Wow thanks bro. I followed your double sided tape method, but paste the tape on a thicker piece of paper. Works wonderfully. My printer is working fine now! Thanks again bro!
Ended up taping some alcohol wipes to a ruler and sticking that in under the rollers while the printer was doing its cleaning routine. Once the rollers dried out, they started to pick up paper like new. Thanks!
Good idea. Thank you very much for this useful and do-able tip. I have the same printer & same problem. I tried to do it with two pieces of double sided tape applied at the end of card paper parallel to the paper edge (unlike your which was along the track of rollers) because I was scared of paper get jammed inside. I did it manually with printer off & then felt a bit confident to run the paper through the printer, switching it ON. To my utter shock, paper went inside smoothly but completely rolled over on one of the rollers bars, close to the outer tray due to the scotch tape adhesion. I did not take the risk of dismantelling the printer to reach that roller bar,so what I did was to cut the paper several times with a sharp cutter (risking the rubber of roller bar) & taking out piece by piece with a long tweezer. I removed the cartridges though. It took me almost one hour to take out the shreds of paper stuck in there. Then I cleaned the roller bar with alcohal. Finally the printer was OK & it worked perfectly taking in the papers smoothly. My advice: Do it manually, while printer is OFF.
Wow that's pretty nice! Perfume should work well. Alcohol makes rubber dry so don't use too much. If you can find alcohol-free wipes that's even better! That's a pretty cool way to print some love letters. 😁
My similar printer, the Canon MG3650, has a roller self-cleaning mode. Look under maintenance in the software that came with it. However, although this did remove some dirt, I still had the problem. Then I cleaned the rollers by rubbing them with a Q-Tip, taped on the end of a wooden coffee spatula, dipped in some IPA. (Iso-Propyl Alcohol) This worked, until the next time of course.
My rollers were dried out and looked greyish with small cracks all over. So I tried to feed it very fine sanding paper, that did not work. A shame that these rollers are inaccessible. So what i did was taping a small piece of lead to the left side of the roller assembly with double sided tape.. This can be done from the front with some tools. The lead gives the rollers some more push on the paper so it can grip it better. That did the job.
On my Pixma MG3100, took a brown interoffice mail envelope and placed the sticky tracks from a post it note under where the pickup rollers are located. Used shipping tape to hold the sticky tracks in place. Made two passes of the brown envelope, cut to 8-1/2 x 11" size and it now the pickup rollers work again. Great printer but they should have better access to these rollers. On the HP commercial units they are easily replaceable. Incidentally, HP printers are often made by Canon.
You just saved me a printer! Many thanks! I was noding my head around why is not pulling the paper.. Sorted it it using tape face up on a piece of paper and that tape actually taped down to that pice of paper 😂. And make sure you open the rear of printer so goes through the front and exits at the rear and doesn't affect the printer 👍.

Thanks to Matt Graham, another tip:
When doing this, open the back of the printer so it’s easier.
3) Put 20 sheets of A4 paper into the paper tray
4) Put the cleaning cloth on one A4 plastic sheet and put it on top of the 20 sheets into the tray

6) Turn the cloth with A4 paper 180 degree and run one print job for drying the role.

Worked for me and no risk to printer.
Yeah, my problem is that my printer's roller has ink on it, which gets in the paper before the actual printing... I'll try your method as it may work in my case!
thank you for this!!! i just did mine. metal ruler with tape. printing smoothly now!
This method works like a charm. Thanks! Of cause thanks to @ION How to who gave us the inspiration.
Someone suggested pushing through a piece of cardboard, scary. I cleaned it with a qtip right now, got some oily mess and now it's working again. Thank you mate.
Amazing! Thank you! Used a bit of lint roller paper. Got stuck a little, but came out with a ruler. Great solution that none of the experts suggested.
Thank you!
Glad it helped!
hey man, just wanted to thank you! i was just about to visit a printer technician tomorrow to have my printer fixed. but your double sided tape gave me an idea. i instead attached a regular tape to a piece of paper and made sure they wouldn't come off easily even if i hold on to the paper so it doesn't go in completely.
after a couple cycles doing this, it works now even with just a single paper. thank you man, really really thank you!
Great idea! Thanks for watching!
Paper was stuck in my printer from the back and I was panicking and searching at the same time for a UA-cam video that could help me...Then I found you :)
great to see those close-up images of the rollers. thank you!
Thank you so much! I didn't have any double sided tape so did as someone in the comments suggested and used a sheet from my lint roller. I stuck it on to a piece of paper with sticky tape and fed it through the printer just once and it's now working great. Amazing how much dust and fluff came out on the sticky paper!
your solution sounds great, I'm gonna try fix my printer with a sheet from my lint roller as you suggest, I'm sure it'll work properly, thanks a lot
Cleaning with double tape won't damage your printer.
what I did:
take a thin cardboard (cornflakes box) (cauz paper might tear and jam in printer)
apply double tape in the end only (horizontally)
let it in and out of the paper tray manually (keep printer off)
You can see the dirt in the tape.
repeat above step until the roller is clean.
and your printer is ready to rock and 'roll'.
thank you so much for the video.
This sound good too! 👻
Thank you 🙂
This worked for me as well, I didn't dare feed the printer automatically with double sided tape on paper and this manual method is totally safe! (The tape i had at hand is very sticky, meant for carpets)
It worked :D
Shakthi Vel
Thanks soooo much for this tip!
Thank you! Tired of buying printers every time they don’t work right! We appreciate you!
A piece of thin brass sheet with a clothes lint roller sheet Scotch-taped over the end worked for me on an Epson ESP-5250. Thanks for the tip.
I have a cannon pixma e510, been frustrated for weeks thinking we'd have to replace it. now works like brand new. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
Another printer saved! 👻
Wow thanks so much!! You saved us hundreds of dollars with a simple peice of tape. Thanks to you we don’t have to buy a new printer
Fantastic! Wife was getting so annoyed and kept bugging me for a new printer. This worked 1st time and now we are living happily ever after!
Great! Enjoy it! 😬
All good now👍
Great tip!
My Steps:
Took basic file folder and cut to 8.5* 11 similar to basic standard printer paper.
Many thanks for the tip - I was just about to follow your method when I thought of using a vacuum cleaner to clear dust - and this worked!
That sounds great! A diy transport cleaning sheet. If the glue is not aggressive you can use it as many times as you need! 👻

Brilliant ! A simple fix just as the printer was about to go out of the window !!
Enjoy it! 👻
Nice! Enjoy it! :)

這篇真的太強了!
成功救了我的canon
已經保內送修過
結果半年後又吃不到紙
他們工程師還說不可能一定是我的錯?
我剛剛ㄧ試就好了
太感動了
Thank you very much!
I tried a variation of the dubble sided tape: I glued a sheet of sticky notes upside down on a normal paper. The glue on the sticky notes did the job after a few repetitions.
Nice work!
Thanks! That worked for my mx537. One tip is that you can open the back of the tray to prevent the second rolls from pulling the paper up.
WORKS 100% Thank you very much, mate. It really works just fine. The printer does not have any issue malfunctioning or something, you just need to be a little careful during the process of inporting the double tape-paper. Thank you again. P.S. Canon Pixma MG3150
Nice 👻
Great idea! Thanks for watching!
It really works! I used a very thin and soft ( i mean not too much sticky) double sided tape and printed a blank page several times. even I heard not any strange sound when printing. It just normally printed the taped page and is correctly working after then. Thank you!!
Your tip still works. I thought my printer was possessed. Nope! It just needed to be cleaned. Thank you.
About to through my Printer. Now works like a champ 😊.
Dragos you are a hero, this worked perfectly, Cannon should hire you.
All good now .. thankyou :)
I had a different model, but your video helped me find the catch in the back panel.
Nice trick with the post-it notes. That glue is perfect for this
Great video.
Nice
This fix the most front feed printer problem. it seems stuck but when the roller cleared from dust it will feed the paper. i have to do the tape twice to make the roller feed papers smoothly. thanks for the video!
Unglaublich !! Das funktioniert zu 100 %. Danke Dragons ION. Thank you.
Thanks , i can confirm that the ploblem was the dirt on the paper rollers , i've cleaned them and its working.
Holy crap, this worked! I just used regular double-sided tape on regular 8 1/2x11 paper. Thank you so much--one less printer for the landfill!
Really excited about your comment! Makes me very happy! :)
It's amazing how easy this problem translates to buying a new printer.
Thanks for saving your printer!
This should be highlighted on instruction manual for every printers🙌
Thanks a lot for your precious help ! I used the double site tape carefuly and it worked very well 👍 Chris from France 🇫🇷
works for my E560 !!!
thank you so much sir !!
but i don't think i will ever get another Canon printer in future
@@IONHowTo Fair point about the alcohol, I did think about it but never had an issue with isopropanol, it evaporates so quickly. All the best!
I had already tried cleaning the feeders on the paper side, then I saw him trying to force the paper through and tried that. When I did a piece of moss popped out from deep inside the feeding mechanism o.0
Solved my problem in less than 5 mins and I didn't even have to watch the whole video ^^
In general, you should watch howto videos without skipping so you don't miss any important information.
Great way to get it fixed! Enjoy it!
Like brand new
Thanks for saving my life its already 12am ! 2020 and it's really working!
Going crazy this morning thinking about wth is wrong with my printer! and finally stumbled into this video. The problem is only one side of the roller is taking the paper. Tried the cardboard and the double-sided tape but to no avail, it still not feeding. Until I checked the inside and lift the feeder until I saw a Crayola crayon inside! lol, So my advice is also to check inside, check everything! wasted my time the whole morning trying to figure out whats wrong! . haha
Thanks for your comment 😅 did make us smile , very good tip 👍
Wow thanks bro. I followed your double sided tape method, but paste the tape on a thicker piece of paper. Works wonderfully. My printer is working fine now! Thanks again bro!
Your video is great, but I didn't have double sided tape so I used a cotton ball on a wire with rubbing alcohol. Works great now!
Sounds good! Best is to use what you have already around.
you're the best man, thanks, the printer feeds the paper.🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Man that worked incredibly easy. I was about to throw my printer away and order another one. Thanks.
EXCELLENT video! probably the best instruction video with printers of any kind that I have seen. enormously useful. Thanks you.
Yesssssss thank you so much it worked my printer is working now thanks to your video I appreciate you so much!!!!
It worked thanks! I was able to slide the feed tray out and access the rollers from underneath (mx495) then use tape to remove dust directly
Thanks, man! it really worked I tied a 10 cm ruler with a spoon and at the end with cotton with some Perfume onto it. worked as if it were new.
Mersi Ion! Am rezolvat! Tocmai vreeam sa arunc imprimanta!
Thank you, I have to used the tape way and still working... like 70%
