How’s you? I hope you’re doing great.
First of all i had an Epson 1810 printer but it wouldn't print on glossy paper and it was leaving lines on the paper so i ordered a new one which you are seeing in this video. i will be testing different types of paper in this video ,its a perfect video for people with small businesses and for people who wants to see the quality of the printer. I tried sticker paper, photocard paper, glossy paper, transparent vinyl paper, and thick business card paper. I'll explain everything you need to know about Epson paper test in this video. I would like to add that this printer also leaves lines on glossy paper, when i laminate the paper the lines become less visible but can still be seen.
I must say that with a set of bottles you get ,you print up to 4,500 pages in black and white and 7,500 in color, which would mean a total of 72 ink cartridges.

Hey, They told me that this printer doesn’t print on vinyl paper which is not true so you never know until you try, I tried sticker paper which prints well , But never tried label paper , I have so idea but I think it does print on label paper as well (It has to) but please ask the seller before purchasing it.
Which paper setting did you use for the sticker paper ? (And was your sticker paper smooth or matte )
I used (other glossy inkjet paper ) settings. And my sticker paper is glossy.

what do you mean by pizza wheels marks? I don't see it in the video and can't understand what you mean. Could you please explain?
Little dots appear when the printed page is too wet with ink. The wet ink then gets picked up by the small wheels or "cogs" located under the exit guide.
it looks like someone rolled a pizza wheel across your paper. Hope this helps .
I have this printer. It does not make prints with the lines on it you refer to and I am very pleased with it. If you found a fault with it in the form of lines appearing on prints, why did you not return it for a replacement?
I did, But had the same problem and had a very bad experience with the seller so i decided to never buy the Epson printer ever. To be honest for me the HP printer is faster.

Thank you. I recommend it but please ask the buyer before purchasing it cause i had problem with glossy paper . It leaves lines on the paper . But i like HP more hehe ^_^
@@bymarcissus thank you so much. Can I ask you why you like hp more? Because I want to buy a new printer and I've always had hp but with ink cartridges and they are so expensive so I wanted to switch to Epson eco tank and I was looking for the better option. I'm still undecided about it 😁
I had Epson and i had so many problems with it.Epson is slow and it leaves wheels marks on glossy paper and it’s very noisy while printing. And HP is faster than Epson and it didn’t leaves marks on the paper + its not noisy at all but HP print color is very dark you just need to lower the saturation and it should solve the problem. It’s just my opinion cause i had problems with Epson printer.

It has to be the paper cause this printer prints very well. The colours are very vibrant. Check out the paper i use or different paper.

Yes, but not the glossy paper. For Epson printer you must buy epson paper.

Yes, but personally i don’t like Epson now, It used to mark pizza wheels ( little black / white dots) on my paper. I use Hp now.

I've epsom 2810. Bought glossy sticky label paper from amazon. The prints came out very very faded and dull. Any suggestions??
I haven’t try label paper yet. What i tried is a sticker paper which works well for me. And for the faded and dull result, You should try print quality (High). I hope it helps.

After some searching online, I found that sublimation ink is only to be used for Epson printers, not HP. But you can use HP iron-on transfers to print to fabrics and bags. Ideally, the inkjet printers should be able to do this, hence you can use your Officejet to perform this operation. But my HP printer is not suitable for sublimation. Hope this helps.
Hippo ink $29 amazon with a new printer and this would essentially “convert” your printer to sublimination otherwise you would have to clean all the ink out and keep in mind, once you do this, it voids the warranty and cannot get help from the website… learned this from another helpful video
From your experience, whats the best printer for high quality vynal glossy stickers?
If you are asking me about vinyl transparent paper then i don’t prefer HP cause the printout is not as black as it should be, and on Epson black looks good.
Hi, I just found your video trying to troubleshoot printing on cardstock with my ET-2820. It's only 200 gsm, not 250 like yours, but it doesn't work. It "prints" everything on top of each other right on the first edge that enters the printer. You would think the paper is too thick to get through, but when the printing is done, it feeds the whole page through just fine, and unfortunately also smears the ink all over. Could you tell me what paper settings you use?

@@bymarcissus I couldn’t really see what settings you used, so I don’t know. Also, you can choose paper settings on your computer, but also in the menu on the printer. Do you know if it matters where you do it? Thank you for taking the time to replay.

Estoy teniendo un par de problemas con el tema de los colores. No logro hacerlos fiel a los de pantalla. O me salen más oscuros o me salen más claros. Estoy probando en papel mate de 100gr. Revise que esté en CMYK, coloque papel "Premium Presentation Paper Matte" en las opciones desde la compu, e indique que es matte en la impresora. Algo que me recomiendes? Desde ya muchas gracias (:
Yo he tenido problemas con Epson así que cambie mi impresora a HP. Desde entonces no tengo ningún problema pero para imprimir en el papel mate solamente con la opción Mate te tiene que salir bien los colores. Para más oscuro baja l saturación para que no te salga oscuro. Espero que te sirve de ayuda . ^_^

La verdad que la única solución que encontré por el momento es imprimir cómo que fuera papel común (es importante seleccionar en la impresora que es papel común y en el panel de la computadora que es papel común. Aceptar cuando te salga la advertencia de que no coinciden los papeles con el que colocaste). Esto me trae problemas cómo que me desfaza la impresión y tengo que ubicar las cosas de forma rara (pegado al borde). Para imprimir simple faz es la solución que tuve. Para imprimir de ambos lados aún no logro encontrarle la solución al desfazado, ando sufriendo con eso ):

How did you cut the anime cards to such perfection? You cant have done that by hand with such a high level of precision?
That’s why i don’t film the part where i cut the cards cause it takes so much time and focus hehe. But i cut them with scissor and the corners with the corner rounder punch. ^_^

This is a printer for images or textes (Can we print texte with this printer or only images) ?
To print text , you need a different paper called vinyl transparent paper. Where you can print texts.

I used different settings for different type of paper. And yes, I use the same ink that comes with the printer, which is 4 bottles. I hope i’ve answered your question.

I saw you just change the type of paper in printer settings, but you didn't change any setting such as rendering color profile, ecc., didn't you? If you have more detailed settings and tips to share, you would save my day 🙏
By now, I've just used matte thick and good quality paper but the colors are a bit dull, especially darker ones. I've bought the same glossy paper as you did, so I'll wait to see the results because yours were pretty good and I can't figure it out why I can't replicate them
Update: I tried the same glossy paper you used and the result is very good!! I'll maybe also try the matte paper you bought to try again but at the moment I'm very happy and relieved. Thank you again!! 😊

Hey, The speed of the print must be different but the print quality is the same. I had 1810 and the quality is the same but the problem is that it leaves pizza marks (means lines on the paper) ask the seller before purchasing it. 💕

@@bymarcissus Can you explain a bit about those "pizza marks" you mentioned? :) I do not see any on this video. Is it noticeable or you can only see it at the certain angle?
@@itomic009 I noticed that it's not actually showing properly in the video because of the lighting and the shine but to be really honest, it leaves so many lines (little dots) on the paper that it completely destroys the paper. I laminate the paper so it become less visible but you can still see it.
(It only happens on the glossy paper)

@@bymarcissus Ok, thank you for the feedback. Is this then some error? I suppose you need to print the photos on a glossy paper to look good, but if you have marks, that is not good. Is there any other way to print photos, or this destroys them? Also, what was the issue with the ET-1810 model, why did print on glossy paper?

Pigment ink. It comes with the printer.
What about matte sticker paper setting 😢 ???
On matte paper you must use (matte paper )option. And the colours are more vibrant on matte paper.

Once it isn’t from official accounts like Gucci photo shoots you’ll be ok. Some fan cafe’s have copyrights but a lot don’t. You’ll just need to find proper sources and use “free for use” photos
Stay away from selling items with copyright infringements in general. So easy to get banned off different market places. Personal use, is fine but don’t sell!
