If you are just rotating backups, you are still using backups, isn't going to work, they will be a liability not an asset. We need all 22 players to be starters, zero backups. We are only as strong as our weakest link. This is a team sport, not an Olympic contest.
Baker was a teachers pet of Brain F., I can't even say his name, but Baker was never a 20+ million dollar player in anyones eyes except to Brian and a few delusional fans that know little about the game and that'a 99% of them. Leading the team in tackles sounds fantastic, great stat, but when you look at almost all of those tackles were 5-7 yards down field, who cares, the first downs piled up with Baker out there, he had no ability to sniff out plays or fill the wholes in the line to stuff the run, those things didn't happen. He could blitz from the edge, but so can almost anyone, safeties, corners and over half the team, that is not what the team needs at inside linebacker. Baker was on this team the last two years because of his contract being too big to cut without huge cap damage. The type of defense the Dolphins ran last year required way too much experience, knowledge and mental quick thinking, by the time they got it, their edge rushers were gone, so this year, again the defense needs to learn a new system so that will slow them down but it will be easier to grasp and if they can get healthy bringing back the edge stars later in the year, they could be better than last years defense but that is at least half a season away from seeing that result. The first half, this offense will have to play ball control and out score teams.
Chubb blew our Superbowl appearance by ripping off his helmet, would have had home field advantage probably would have won the Superbowl. Our ship has come and sailed, we lost the too many key players, we are in rebuild. Probably not making the playoffs.

Dolphins are shy two guards plus they may look like the old Dolphins who can't stop the run. Hope not, but it could be long season.
