It would be so cool if you guys do a mini series of the six 🔥🔥
Wow
FNG Academy / Beers and Breakdowns, New subscriber here. I have enjoyed your movie reaction posts. Thank you very much, it's great stuff!
May I suggest the movie "Avengement" for reaction.
You should watch The Netflix remake of Alls quiet on the western front
Send those boots to Rose Anvil to review. He'll cut them apart and tell you what's really in there. 🤘🏿
Why haven’t you guys done HEAT with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino??!!!!!! That’d be too legendary!!!
I thought they did Heat? Maybe I'm misremembering that. Could've been a different channel
Please do heat so many tactics to discuss!
@@brantleyhester6641 no they did Sicario, similar to heat though
Heat would be so phenomenal of them to do, same goes for the 2003 version of S.W.A.T with Colin Farrell and Samuel Jackson, and 44 Minutes: The North Hollywood Shootout.
@@brantleyhester6641 they did Den of Thieves which was heavily inspired by Heat.
I got a job at a concrete company. A supervisor had been doing it for about 6 years. I was building a grid structure for a decorative slab. Well dude was mad I took so long and I told him the print was wrong and he lost it. He goes off on me for about 10 minutes about as loud as you can tell me how stupid I am, and then the concrete gets there and we pour it before I finish doing what I was doing, within a day and a half it was already cracked in six places. And when the main owner came in and was asking what the hell happened, I stepped up and told him that the Engineers that drew this this, did their math wrong he asks how so! I told him they accounted for impact force when they needed a shear force calculation, the elevation and temperature also played a factor, but i pounted out the ground was loose so the weight would cause it to sink as it dried. Its not too big a difference in any single factor but combined they really needed to account for shear Force, as it's a dynamically moving area in a region of constantly shifting soil and rock and add in use for traffic and we needed to go ahead and put adobe blocks underneath the grid structure and reinforce it with a secondary layer of five bar on a 3-7 offset and drill dowel tie ins, he states at me like I'm Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting, he demotes the other guy and gives me his spot. (My family has 5 concrete companies, I had 14 years hands on and) I tried telling him, but he told me to shut up and listen when he spoke. Loudest in the rooms is usually the weakest one.
You guys need to check out "The Raid - Redemption". Squad of Indonesian swat get trapped in an apartment building that houses criminals. They fight their way out and it's fucking sick! Once the action starts, it literally doesn't stop for the entire movie.
B&B: “Oh you just thought we were just gonna sit and watch the movie together?!”
Me: [Takes off Snuggie and stops working on friendship bracelet.]
LOL solid
😂😂
47:03 (Former CO 2013) we did have a shotgun taser we were supposed to get called the X12 I think but it never showed up I think they gave up on production just never heard about it again. The idea was a slug like round hits you and out come a taser cartridge that swings down with very sharp prongs and that would be your two points was very expensive if I recall.
They were like a hundred bucks a pop and kinda worked, but when they did, oh man, they were a 30 second lighting ride to give you time to catch up to them. If I also recall correctly the minimum distance was significant, greatly limiting your options.
Always look forward to seeing these.
I know it’s more of a mercenary movie but Ronin (1998) is still a highly rated masterpiece more than 20 years later.
If not for the channel just watch it for yourselves, it does not disappoint
Agreed. Ronin is phenomenal. What color is the boathouse in Hereford?
I also vote for the very little known Vietnam movie 'Tigerland'
Robin is a brilliant espionage/ spy movie I love it and Robert deserves is at his best as the lead as a cia agent
I meant ronin lol
One of the best car chases ever filmed. Only thing I didn't believe in Ronin was the coffee cup jumping up in the air because dude bumped it. Other than that, aces.

Personally I'd like a bears and breakdown of Kelly's Heros
Oddball for the win.
44:40 - That actually happened in a scene in a Southland episode. You guys should do that show next - of course, if you haven't done it already. I think you guys would like that show.
Holy shit you guys really did Triple 9!! I'm the dude that's been suggesting it, I loved this episode! FNG is 100% for the boys, love you guys!
Love from the 1-501st in Alaska! 🇺🇸
THE A-TEAM!!! Been asking for awhile. Yall did great on Tropic Thunder! Yall are super awesome, love the videos, love the content and keep up the great work!
The A Team AND The Losers.
Agree 💯 totally underated movies.
Love your Generation Kill episode, can’t wait for the next one, and for you guys to review Platoon. Keep killin it fellas
As a former swimmer I'd like to see your take on the Guardian. Keep it up FNG.
Still wanna see yall do "Shooter". Another is "Enemy at the Gates" both sniper movies. 1 modern, 1 WW2
I enjoyed Ryan Phillipe as Bob Lee Swagger in the Shooter series personally.
@@laurendaley8347 Is that the TV show version? I havent seen that one yet
5:41 "I'm the one censoring things for fun" -Abel. You heard it here folks!
"Man On Fire" charger up the ass scene was a good illustration of what a small amount of explosive could possibly do...granted, the fireball created was probably exaggerated for movie effects, but still.
As a core viewer. We still appreciate the repeat stories, cuz Shawn is a badass. Even if he doesn't see himself that way
Sometimes you get stuck with the wrong family! Damn you described my life Buck!
You all do SUCH a great job with these breakdown videos! Shout out to everyone, especially Abel for working that overtime to bring us viewers the best entertainment possible!
Love these breakdowns. Keep doing it your way.
I frickin love you guys! I swear, never had so many laughs as I have when watching beers and breakdowns.
I love that you tell your stories over and over.
Always look forward to another video when you guys drop the Beers & Breakdown series. You guys always do an amazing job on them. Lol
For me personally, I absolutely Love watching you guys. The main reason why I got hooked is because of your stories and what to do and not to do with tactical breakdowns.....(your experience with suggestions). I wouldn't have it any other way. So thank you for doing what yall did and doing what your doing now.
Thank y'all for being my background noise in my office really helps me get through the day. New fan been watching and listening to y'all the last three day. Keep it up.
Same here bro haha:) great minds think alike eh.
You guys should check out a show called Dude You're Screwed. It was hosted by Terry Schappert and Jake Zweig back when I watched it. It was a survival show. Terry is or was a Green Beret and Jake was a SEAL. Idk if you could react to anything but it was pretty fun to watch.
That was a pretty good show. Especially when they would try to sneak tools onto the show
You would have such field day with the operation delta force movies lol
I think you guys all do a great job! Highlight of my sunday! Keep up the good work boys!
I love all you guys. Great content and much respect
I really enjoy your story’s I could listen all day , I’ve never been a soldier but I respect what you do , love this channel
Thanks again Able you the editing.
You are killing it!
Thank you guys for these reaction videos! It's so fun to watch! One of my absolute favourite UA-cam channel. Keep it up 😜
I am actually happy. I came across this channel because you guys Talk about a lot of movies that I need to rewatch.
I love it guys !!! thanks for the video !!!
It's an older one and a little obscure, but The Beast from 1988 is really good. Love the reviews guys. Always looking forward to the next Beers and Breakdowns.
Is that the one with the Russian tank?
@@charlesodle8595 Yes. Soviet tank crew gets lost in an Afghan valley after destroying a village. Locals and Mujahideen pursue the tank crew for revenge. I remember seeing it on TV in the early '90s. Also known as "The Beast of War".
@@zacksmootz9975 ok yeah that’s the one I thought you was talking about. All I remembered is they drove over someone with the tracks and one of the guys was getting drunk on filtered brake fluid
As a rookie cop you have 1 year of probation with absolutely no saying. As a marine it was so difficult to remain silent in the company of non military personnel. I only trusted cops that were military trained . Tell your stories bro !!! We have so many !!!
I had a SGM turn his white light on 3 times on my aircraft... I handed it back twice, and on the third time I threw it off the aircraft. That SGM chewed my ass out after the flight, but luckily my leaf Colonel was my pilot that day, so the SGM started going off on him till he took off his body armor, and all he saw was that glorious leaf. SGM snapped to attention and F'd off after that.
I like hearing his stories over and over and over
Buck I love your stories. Even If I hear it 10 times, you just have a natural way of telling stories.
I am not likely a member of FNG Academy's primary audience. I'm also not typically a fan girl...er.....fan great grandmother. I've never served, however, over half my friends throughout my life (guys and fellow female Dy_es) have served, are serving. I also know a lot of cops, local and Fed. So, I've always honored and valued soldiers, present and vets. I also value cops and what they do for everyone. The boys at FNG are flat-out funny and good people (I have an eye for such things). Plus, I love to learn about what is bunk in movies, military or otherwise. Learning what is absurd in movies, what are good movies insofar as people who have seen real combat, I love this content. We are all in this together, despite the forces dividing us, or trying........
Shotgun taser rounds are a thing. The load has a self contained battery and barbs on it so when you went to pull it out your would continue to shock. I've never seen them work that good though.
I'm cool with Sean repeating his stories, they are great 👍
One I can't believe you guys havn't done is The Siege of Jadotville. That was an amazing movie.
ABEL .. really glad to hear so much of the behind the scenes and backstory. It's very helpful. Maybe to clear up the expectations you should call the show "Beers, BS and breakdowns" .
Safe House with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds could be a good one to break down.
He was PaPa Doc on 8 mile. Lmao
Story of my life right there Buck, stuck with wrong family. Couldn't have put it better myself.
Lmao!!! I love the Daryl-Norman bit
How can we not like you guys, You tell the truth.
Loved this one! Looking forward to Platoon
Really enjoy the FNG's take on film! Hilarious $#!t my guys. Love it. Please do HEAT. I know it's a long movie but has some EPIC action sequences that I'd love to hear your take as law enforcement and former military. Thanks. Keep these coming.
I love the idea of a roast episode. Your favorite posts and messages would be hilarious IMO.
I can’t get from the car trunk to my kitchen counter with out the plastic grocery bags tearing!
FNG Academy Forever!!
As someone mentioned below, HEAT would be an awesome one for sure.
Thanks for the entertainment!
Tropic Thunder is a spoof of Platoon, Apocalypse Now and another movie i cant remember. It heavily spoofs all the issues that Apocalypse Now had while filming.
You guys should totally do Starship Troopers haha
Thank you for your time. And as always..Hold Fast My Friends
I get why you wouldn't "I'am ex-SF" the Sergeant but a polite "Excuse me sir, but i wasn't standing in front of the vehicle, i stood next to it" should have sufficed.
I love all you guys' stories. Always very compelling, funny, interesting and insightful. Like Abel said, just fuckin send it mate haha.
I concur! Kurt and Andy! 😆
Thank God you guys said something about the "movie" review. A good movie is Pain and Gain or Man on fire. Love the content, keep up guys.
37:20 is just comedy gold!
Good job guys. Would like to see you breakdown Dog Soldiers. Don’t want to wait till Halloween, but it would be good for a Halloween episode.
Well done. Thank you for your time chilling and explaining things from a worriors point of veiw. My two film suggestions would be. Hamburger Hill for serious, and for fun also a Vietnam film, Best Beer Run Ever, with Zac Efron and Russel Crow. Hold Fast My Friends. And ofcourse CHEERS!
You guys are awesome 😎
I know you said it's a month out but I'm still hoping for the movie 'Tigerland'.
It's the Vietnam movie that put Colin Farrel on the map as an actor.
I'd also like to see (Pre John Wick) keanu reeves 'Street Kings'.
Antoine Fuqua did Street Kings. Also did Den of Thieves, Brooklyn's Finest, Terminal List, Equalizer, and more. I really like his movies. Brooklyn's Finest is probably the best cop movie he's done and that includes Training Day.
THANK YOU.
The Siege of Jadotville is as must see. The Irish cinder IPB's the hell out of the battle space.
Will forever love beers and breakdowns Major fangirl
Could you guys review "Dark Blue" with Kurt Russell from 2003?
Honestly i think you guys should review dog soldiers. such an underrated movie for what it is.
I’ve heard you guys calling Michael Peña, Daniel Peña twice in two different breakdowns. But I keep watching, keep enjoying and still love the perspectives.
Bruuuh been laughing so bad about the time traveling shit lol I just watched the reaction to Tomorrow War and the whole time travel dilema with Kurt
I don't give a crap about shit people say, you guys have me both laughing and learning at the same time which is great entertainment (and food for the brain for sure)
I want to agree with all you guys being a balance of personalities to each other.
Keep it up guys!
You guys gonna do more Generation Kill??? I fucking loved that one, and would be SUPER stoked for the rest of the series.
Love your content, Buck. I would love to see you do Beers and Breakdown on Blood In Blood Out. It’s very similar to American Me. Just know it’s 3 hours long, but it dives in to gang culture and how the actions of one can change the course of peoples’ lives around them.
When he was talking about a friend calling a buddy whose a police officer to run a plate to get information about that person for suspicious reasons, I'm pretty sure that's a felony. If you're a police officer on patrol, unless you're working and running a plate on a person you're dealing with or a car that drives by, or you're helping out another jurisdiction, you can't just run a plate for a friend or whatever. There's people that have done that and gotten in a ton of trouble.
Tazer Rounds Exist, Ian from Forgotten Weapons made an Episode about it. (Whether anyone actually has them is a different question.)
from Egypt with love 🔝
Please take a look into Danger Close (Amazon) and Siege of Jadotville (netflix)! They are pretty realistic battles that I’ve seen so far. Thank you!
Ryan Phillippe and Benicio del Toro in “Way of the Gun.”
Badass
20:30 definitely been in a situation like this! My promotion board to E-5, there was a lot of pressure because everyone knew me and that i had a college degree and my sponsor was talking me up a LOT. Well, turns out, my promo board came a month early, and i only learned about it the MORNING OF. Long story short, i bombed. got every question wrong, CSM tore me up. I wanted to tell them that i had no clue i was going to the board that month, i though it was the following month. But you can't make excuses at the board. Looks very bad for you and the sponsor. Just had to stand there at parade rest and take it lol.
At 9:46 your talking about GEO tagged locations with signs and such I was stalked by an ex 2 states away cause I took a video and posted it on FB a long time ago and she figured that shit out immediately learned quick 😂😂😂
“Kurts everyone’s bro , he’s the people’s champ” 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 this whole episode was hilarious
If a cop runs a plate as a favor and it comes up hot... "Lucy, you've got some 'splaining to do!"
No complaints here, I have a beer or two when I watch these enjoyed them from the start.
@FNGAcademy don't worry Buck I like your commentary.✊🏾
52:00 There would still be a movie, but it would be Commando.
This is less military and more arms related but lord of war with Nicholas cage is a great one
I'm new to the channel but really dig you guys and your videos but not sure if anyone ever brought up a show called SIX but it's one of my favorite and I would like to hear what y'all think about it. It seems like you guys cover movies more than shows but maybe one day you give it a shot. Thanks guys.
7:30 its that raining to topple gov he has to make people like him lol
Lucky number slevin 👍 killer movie 🍿
Excellent movie. Usual Suspects level twist.
All you guys are quality. For some channels, I see who's on to determine if I watch. With you all, every combo of dudes works. Great channel. Don't change a thing. I have seen all these movies. I am here to learn from you all. Not rewatch them. I have a Hulu account.
IN THE ARMY NOW
Y'all are all young enough you may have missed this masterpiece of the 90s
GOSH DAGNABBIT
Try Teelings Irish Whiskey, it' s a Jameson's product that's aged in rum barrels.
I love how Sean is just fucking with Able as to what Norman's name is😂
Thought this was gonna be Triple Frontier. Great movie. Definitely do that one too.
They did Triple Frontier awhile back.
ua-cam.com/video/kuYckaHGaIM/v-deo.html
Y’all should do a review of street kings with Keanu Reeves
yes
I may eat paint chips but.. you’re not Kurt! You’re Abel! 😂
