Bryan Cranston said there would have been no Walter White without Tony Soprano. The iconic anti-hero.
Is that true? Very cool
@@unclejune2839 I'm not too active watching breaking bad but I saw the same clip, was awesome seeing him pay homage like that
@@scroteymcboogerballs4699you can very easily look it up lmao
michaels story in gta 5 is also heavily inspired by the sopranos he also has a disfunctional family is leader of a glorified crew has a couch potato of a son and has a nagging wife also goes to see the males version of dr. Melfi
Paulie repeating the joke to Tony is comedy gold
Almost like 'Paulie Two Times'.
Why would they put the he killed 16 people and he’s a interior decorator clip without what Tony says to the 10seconds earlier
To be fair, Pine Barrens is probably the most popular episode in the entire series, they didn't really need to.
@@mphobella4143 Well, not everyone is that up to speed and if youre not gonna include the build up,it would be better to just leave it be.
@Miles Doyle ain’t nobody ask you none of that shit
Dave is right! It did pave the way for a more long form higher quality cinematic T.V show. The Sopranos is hilarious which is often overlooked because everything else is so good. Keep it coming!
Yeah a big part of that was you couldn't watch on demand and the shows were syndicated. As a result individual episodes needed to stand on their own because you never knew what episode you could watch on any given day.
It’s worth a rewatch, still holds up after all this time
💯
Not only holds up but absolutely destroys any modern show with ease
If anything, it’s even better now somehow 🙂
ofc it holds up, good story, complex characters and great dialogue writing is always a win, and it has no CGI to speak of.
The guy who played Pauly Walnuts was actually a mobster in real life, he helped them make the show.
13:07 yep. VP Dick Cheney shot his buddy while out hunting. The buddy survived and even apologized to Cheney 😂
Shot him in the face, and he was a lawyer also 😅😅.
Lol Cheney’s OJ gloves were on when his buddy was asked about the incident 😂
Knowing what a psychopath Cheney is, I bet he did it on purpose.
Karma and the problem taking care of itself 🤷🏻♀️ hopefully he’s learned from it but I doubt it
@@willvr4you think he accidentally went to others’ homes to murder?
That line by Christopher "His house looked like shit..." was delivered so well hahaha The context is even better because Paulie's dumbass misunderstood the big Eastern European dude when he asked him what he did for a living.
Yeah that whole bit isn't done justice without showing the phone call with Tony first.
@@ElmGoodiez Good point.
And it’s even funnier considering his wife in real life is an interior decorator and their house is amazing
“I have Blue Cross Blue Shield,is that alright?” 😂😂
The scene with the camouflage isn't ridiculous. When you deer hunt, you wear the orange vest so other hunters don't shoot you. Deer are color blind and can't see it, and the camo breaks up your silhouette so they can't see that, either.
I think he was laughing because it's bobby, and he will look rediculous in anything
@@ElmGoodiez yeah, but I was helping the Blokes understand why he was wearing bright orange and camo at the same time
Chase needed James to laugh in this scene cause of the outfit. Since Gandolfini knew what was coming, Schirippa was told to improvise to break James...so he walked in in camouflage holding a big, black dildo. And that,as they say, outta do it.
@@SAVikingSA They did that scene a bunch of times and couldn't get the right reaction, so what you can't see on the screen because of the editing is that the actor who plays Bobby walked into the room holding a big dildo to make Gandolphini laugh. He talked about it on a podcast.
@@willvr4 I was replying to what the guys said, not the scene itself. Deer hunting isn't as common in the UK as it is here.
Sopranos is the 🐐 show. Hopefully the Chris intervention and pine barrens is in this compilation!
One of my favorite shows of all time, it never gets old
You never had the makings of a Varsity athlete.
Man 7:42 both those wise guys RIP to both of them!
finally some sopranos got my bowl of gabagool lets go
I would trade a decade of tv shows for the Sopranos. especially the last one.
The last season wasn't great. But it's one of my favorite shows.
@@willvr4 6B was literally fantastic
@@willvr4
That just isn’t true at all
@@willvr4It’s possibly the best season.z
@@jesuspernia8031 There's no "true" or "false" about someone's opinion on a tv show...
Some of the actors thought the Sopranos was a comedy when they started working on it. Paulie and Chrissy stuck out in the middle of nowhere when the Russian mob guy gets away is my favorite funny episode.
It's a dramedy. A character like Paulie isn't even possible in a serious drama.
@@dudermcdudeface3674 they're certainly available in real life. I've made the acquaintance of a couple, and they exist.
@@dudermcdudeface3674 I wouldn't call it a dramedy. Some episodes aren't funny at all. You can have funny moments in a serious drama.
@@rukus9585 yeah man, had a buddy, still do, he was one the meanest people around, loved to fight n was always a call away n would do anything for me, vice versa for him. But that mf was cracking jokes nonstop n acting like a clown for fun, but he'd sure as fuck beat someone half to death if prompted.
"He was an interior decorator"
"His house looked like shit"
The scene in the boat was when they killed Big Pussy Bonpensiero. He was working with the feds and they found out, and he knew he was gonna die so he was just trying to have an old time laugh with the guys before they killed him. "just not in the face"
The actor in that last scene who was sweeping the floor played Calogero in "A Bronx Tale".
I’ve never done it before, but I’d do some sort of watch-along thing with you guys on the Sopranos. That would be a hoot.
Whoever edited those clips did an awful job of capturing the spirit of those scenes. Needed to let each one breathe some more
and forgot the one where they slammed the body into the skip or “calzone with legs”😂😂
James Gandolfini is one of the all timers!
Top 3 actor easily
10:54 - love this joke.
Most of these are way funnier in context.
the camo scene .. Bobby ended up coming in with a Dildo to get James Galdofini to laugh.. That is what he was laughing at lol
That's hilarious if that's true.
@@willvr4 lol they had a pod cast was pretty good him and Mike Imperioli .. ua-cam.com/video/_9KmfkbFJIw/v-deo.html
@@willvr4 It is he discussed it on the joe Rogan podcast.
@@bobwillis9190Yeah. Steve Schippira has told that story a couple or tree times.
@@A_real_Ha_Soschirippa*
im from new jersey and several times saw them filming all around. they shot a scene just a down the street from me.
This was a decent compilation but there’s others that are higher quality (graphics wise) and they provide a bit more context to the funny jokes.
My significant other just started watching this again. Been fun wandering by and reliving the memories!
Silvio is the best man! Definitely my fav character
SOPRANOS WAS GREAT...FAMILY, CRIME, HUMOR, PATHOS...GOBBAGOOL!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Yes! I would love for you guys to react to more sopranos stuff!
Gandalfini is so good in movie "IN THE LOOP" Comedy, hilarious!!!!!😆😄😂😀😅
Vice President Dick Cheney was shooting skeet and accidentally shot his friend in the face.
Amazing show The Sopranos..
Actor with perfect pompadour, played in Bruce Springsteen's band!!!!🔥🔥😍🔥
Michael Imperioli played Christopher, Tony's nephew!
8:18 Caught one of the Soyjaks here.
Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts) was the goat. RIP to that funny ass man
Fun fact: it was originally titled "Family Guy" but the cartoon came out first.
I still love the show because it shows a mob boss struggling with his humanity.
RIP to James Gandolfini; his scenes were brilliant.
And Tony Sirico too
These Blokes, they’re friends of OURS. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
Gotta make sure I watch this before it gets blocked 😂😅
That Sopranos murder compilation peaked my interest. You guys should follow up this reaction with that.
It was vice president dick cheney who shot a fellow hunter with a shotgun when they were hunting quail together , in Texas , I think .
Dic Chaney is who you are referring to Dave, our former Vice President (second in command after George Bush ‘01-‘09). 😂😂
Did not expect sopranos on office blokes!
Vice president Dick Cheney is the one shot someone while hunting.
Never had the makings of a Varsity Athlete
Dick Cheney is the guy you're thinking of, W. Bush's right hand man
6:05 i knew i recognized that voice! He voiced the strip club owner, Luigi, in GTA 3
SILVIO IS GUITARIST IN BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN BAND!!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
React to 'Kevin Nealon brings Conan to tears' it's absolutely hilarious
i have like 10 episodes left , glad it didn't spoil for me
Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) was on Joey Diaz's podcast earlier this year. Both Jamie Lynn Sigler (Meadow) and Robert Iler (Anthony Jr.) have appeared on Your Mom's House podcast with Tom Segura and Christina P.
That's Little Steven from the E street band♥️
The guy near the end sweeping the floor, you can do a whole channel on him starting with reacting to 'A Bronx Tale' in which he played the kid.
One of my fav comedic moments was when they found out Vito was gay. Paulie’s reaction was pure comedy. I think most of Paulie’s reactions to anything are comedy. RIP Tony Sirico
Paulie's character is such a piece of shit, but he's still hilarious.
Rome and The Sopranos were the shows that paved the way for Game of Thrones. Ironacally both about Italian people lol.
🍆🤌🏽
Please do a reaction to Marc-Andre Fleury gets standing ovation after tribute from Pittsburgh Penguins. It on sports net. You will see that the goalie that had helped win 3 Stanley cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins was traded and his first time back on Pittsburgh ice playing against Pittsburgh, was tributed and applauded even though he was on the opposing team. There was barely a dry eye in the arena.
Christopher Moltisanti.
Yea the guy on the right said it actors real name correctly, Michael imperioli. But other guy didn't know him by that lol. Good ole CHRISTOFAH
Golden Age HBO shows are indispensible. Deadwood, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, True Detectives (Season 1), Rome, and son.
Best show ever.
Oh man on the boat that was Salvatore (Big Pussy)Bonpensiero played by Vincent Pastore, Tony's best friend who was a rat that wore a wire.
Watch season 3 episode 11. Pine Barrens. The interaction between Chris and Paulie is a must watch. Hilarious.
When you guys re-watch The Sopranos...listen out to all the food references...verbal and visual. They are ALWAYS eating and talking about food.
The guy one the boat was Big P*ssy (Jesus UA-cam its the guy's name. 😂😂😂) and he died because he was snitching, the guy Dave was thinking of was Vito but Tony and crew didn't kill him Phil did who was the guy complaining about his neck while Tony was roughing him up for trying to run out on a debt.
There were a ton of hour long shows before The Soprano's, but it and The West Wing (and many others) definitely reinvented the kind of fading genre.
That's a weird comparison. The West Wing was a network NBC show, not a premium cable TV-MA show.
The GOAT
The guy on the boat was working with the cops and they found out
Dick Cheyney’s hunting accident. I haven’t seen footage of course, but they were bird hunting so fine shot at close range. This isn’t a be silent and kill from a distance situation. It’s flush and shoot. Situational awareness and gun discipline is key as you want to simultaneously track target and avoid people.
that’s an intelligent-sounding way of pointing out the ridiculous stupidity of it while avoiding its horrors…
I've never been this early boys🎉🎉🎉🎉🎃
Greatest show of all time. No questions.
I'm not trashing number 2 , 3, etc and their impact on the medium. Shows like Breaking Bad and the Wire.
But this show is their granddaddy lmao
Hello from New Jersey! I live in the same county the intro is shot in! Hudson County, NJ !
What do you mean it reminds you of Joe Diaz. It is Joe Diaz. :D
In that scene with Bobby walking into the kitchen in that hunting outfit, and Tony laughed at him, well, he laughed because Bobby walked out with a sex toy on the front of his pants as a joke. That's why Tony laughed.
oh ok figured it was because of the ridiculous outfit (but I remember that outfit just not the context)
Tony Sirico Aka “Paulie Walnuts” was my favorite. Ironically, he was actually “connected” in his past and spent time in the pen... so, you could argue, his “acting” wasn’t really acting.
Yea Paulie was the real deal. Went to the can like 20-30 times for everything under the sun lol
The entire episode Pine Barrens is one of the funniest episodes. Also fuck UA-cam for censoring you
More NFL mic’s up vids! I think they do them weekly
8:50 nope he is not the gay guy. it was puss. he is about to get killed for being a snitch. great episode that one. the last of the season 2 if i remember correctly.
Christopher
Sopranos created what HBO is today. Before that it was just like movies, comedy specials and boxing
Sopranos was the shit!
More Soprano clips
Guy on the right looks a bit like Ricky Gervais.
You never had the making of a varsity mafioso.
DEADWOOD WAS ANOTHER HUGE SERIES BEFORE SOPRANOS!!!! AND ITS BETTER👍👍👍👍👍
Dick Chaney shot a man while hunting in south Texas
REMEMBA PEARL HAARBOR!!
The reason The Many Saints doesn't work is simply because it was done right in the middle of the wokest time to make a movie or tv show. This is just plain reality and not knocking any people at all. If you were involved with any level of the Italian mob (even a street crew) and you were black/African American, you would never speak to any of them the way any of those characters did in the show. In fact back in the 40s, 50s and early 60s when Many Saints covers, no black/African American working with a mobster/crew/etc would ever consider even looking at a white (and especially Italian) gf of a mobster/crew member etc. Black people had their our thing, some did business with the mob, but they weren't more than business relations to any mob or crew boss. If they were caught by a mobster flirting with even with their eyes at the gf of a mobster, that person would be six feet under. At the very least beaten so bad it would send a message to don't disrespect any monster by thinking they can stare and even think they could have what was his. The show is very woke. And really relaxed when it comes to how things really were. But the show was trying to crowbar in black actors and expand the story to include that characters story too during a time when some were saying there wasnt enough inclusion and representation on tv and in movies. So they ruin a chance to make a good realistic show that may have become something. And now none of those actors for to be on a continuing series. At least not that one. Everything doesn't need representation. And shouldn't happen at the expense of reality. What they tried to portray didn't work. Because it was too far from reality.
The audio is so bad that it probably won't get blocked haha Still great though.
The movie got bad reviews because it didn’t stick to the source material and totally screwed up the continuity. A good example is portraying Silvio being with Johnny-Boy and Paulie back in the late 60’s, and being older than Tony. We know that in the show, Silvio and Tony grew up together and used to spy on uncle Junior’s card games. Another ridiculous example is showing Silvio balding with a toupee, suggesting that he was wearing a wig in the show…(obviously it’s a wig, because Steven Van Zandt is bald) even while sleeping.😎😐
16:09 boomers watching tv 😂😅 nowadays everyone just streams what they want
Oz, and The Wire probably set the stage for series like Ozark and other cult series.
The as on originally HBO
This is why you don’t let amateurs near a editing bay. Brutal. I had to stop.
I miss Galifino.🙏RIP🙏
Gandolfini?
Finally
you know the guys when they were hassling the old lady--that was not a comedy scene...sheesh
You laughed over a lot of the punchlines.
React to ppcocaine rugrat pls
To me best show ever since as an Italian American being in the mob is the only way to get an acting job 🤡 The humor in this show is brilliantly subtle at times
