Greatest Road Racer of All Time….hands down ! Rick , you were the best and my favorite always ! Love the Tide Car days ! Racing at its finest back then !
@@codyware4433 it’s like they don’t know what they want. You want hard racing, but when they get hard racing, then they Bitch and complain and say that particular driver is dirty. Pick one of the other, jeez
He should have won some championships. He lost the 3 ride to Earnhardt. The irony is that Childress said Rudd was too aggressive on the track. So, they replace him with Earnhardt. That guy had a snowplow on the front of his car.
The Fatback McSwain days. That #28 car woke up again with Rudd and McSwain. It was the last hoorah for both Rudd and the # 28. I wish Rudd was in that car right after Davey passed away. I think it would have been more competitive. Rudd would have certainly won more that he did in the #10. Nothing against Kenny Irwin and Ernie Irvin. Rudd was just a better driver.
As successful as Ricky was with Yates so much bad luck kept him from really ascending to the next level. After going to the Wood Brothers Rudd’s competitive days were over. Shame he couldn’t get a few more wins there. I feel missing out on a few of those wins are what’s going to keep Ricky out of the hall of fame.

Ricky Rudd one of my favorites! I miss him & Jarrett being team mates!!!
That 01 Richmond finish is how NASCAR should race .
There’s aggressive drivers out there now but if they even touch somebody all the 60 year old boomers will say “He SuCkS

@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT I’ve never seen a comment as good as this.
@@InactiveChannel19272 thanks man, I do my best
Ain’t that the truth.
Rudd should've won like 4 or 5 more races during his tenure. Git screwed a lot by wrecks or mechanical stuff
good old Rusty Wallace contributed to some
Of those wrecks
2001 nascar messed with ford front end halfway their the season i think rudd wins Championship that year if they didnt mess with them
And Dale Jarrett was the worse teammate ever!@@francisleebelgarde2811

That Richmond bump and run was one of the finest I've ever seen.
I remember as a kid being at the 2001 Richmond race and losing my mind that I finally got to see my favorite driver win in person
Poor Jerry. He didn't even get to contend there at the end.
H.O.F.

Ricky will get in the hall of fame.
@@pumpkinking5174 I certainly hope he does.
@@athleticgeek8997 He's got a strong case and should be a slam dunk IMO.
They certainly don't make em like the Rooster anymore.
fun fact: Ricky Rudd was the last person to win in the #3 car before Earnhardt and Dillon.

I feel like a the 44 should have won I feel like nascar looks a bad drivers and just tampers with there cars so the continue to suck
