Phiomia AKA poop machine good tame for crops and other stuff what you grow on crop plot and phiomia is good mount if you are bored you can start breeding them and get melee mutation and its a beast
I would like a tutorial on how to make the ultimate castle of doom and unicorns. ;) Lay down the foundation mechanic, the different quality's of materials used from thatch to tek, en maybe some key ideas, such as how to improve greenhouse effects en how to keep your dino's safe within walls. And then for a finisher show some amazing build. Doesn't have to be yours, just an epic design.

Quick fact: The more damage your weapon does, the more torpor you'll inflict per shot!
Not really tho. A compound bow does nearly twice the damage a crossbow does but takes way longer to knock things out

Edit: also the percent of damage that similar weapons do dictates how much torpor is applied. So a crossbow that does 200% damage will apply 2x as much torpor while also doing 2x as much damage. The only thing this does is reduce the amount of tranq you use per dino. Especially useful with the longneck rifle and tranquilizer darts.
Mikey H from what I heard compound bows are weaker with normal arrows but stronger with metal arrows.

That is because it isn't really meant to be used in that capacity. To inflict armor piercing damage, metal arrows have to be used. Use it with other arrows and it is even weaker than a prim crossbow, I believe.

15:00 you can use the in game tracker where youre tames are. press inventyory and go to the right at the top you can see all dinos being tamed/have been tamed

I've been playing since scorched earth was released, & i learned that meat doesn't spoil as fast when it's on a herbivore instead of you. I never noticed, but it's good to know.

I've been taming dinos big and small but it really is worth going back to basics, like i had absolutely no idea i could drop a torch and it'll still stay on, I thought it'd just turn into a box like nearly every other item

My #1 rule: Bolas Bolas Bolas. In pve it helps knock out or kill many creatures that would otherwise escape or even kill you. In PvP it's even more important to take on other players.

I don't know if he's still doing videos but if you haven't watched onewing he is a genius when it comes to arc building and traps. Between him and noobs you can learn some amazing stuff for the game.
Great to see you've done an up to date video of taming because most videos are now OUT OF DATE !! and for some reason have not been taken down, HUGELY ANNOYING. Why do people insist on leaving their out of date videos up and running? Because they still catch the unexpected new players who don't see that the game has changed and the past rules and gaming do NOT APPLY anylonger. If you're guilty of this please consider the time and frustration of a new player , that learns false instructions. I've been waiting a long time to see some changes in how videos are allowed to continue when they are seriously no longer relevant. To be blunt about it ( " IT PISSES ME OFF" !!!! ). It's not often we get a video title which includes the YEAR !! which it was made and to some extent you have addressed this. As a long time player, I am happy that you have at least , maybe, hopefully, started a trend and that old out of date videos are taken down. Thumbs up for at least approaching a topic that is long overdue.

Can we get a tutorial on where to find some creatures that are fairly rare or not spawning for some reason, like the video you did for "rex point" on scorched earth awhile ago, the x-sabertooth in particular are attacking mammoths and dying, making them really hard to find
