Who thought of haris,s lines was an expert on humor he should be recognized and applauded and placed in a hall of fame like situation for his memory role in lost in space
Agreed! She was one of the very best "guest star"actors in the entire series who always made her parts truly "come alive" as compared to most others who merely "recite their lines" from the script. Quite a number of LIS guest stars were exceptionally talented in that same way being the ones we remember best and with the greatest of fondness!
Good ol' Jonathan Harris... made the expression "Bubble-Headed Booby!" a famous quotation. Thank you, Classic TV Counts, for putting together this comprehensive collection of Alliterative Insults - all of them classic gold - or as I might call them "Smith-isms".
As a child, I loved this show. It was only years later I heard a few of these words and actually knew what they meant. “Bellicose” for example. Thanks for evoking some wonderful memories.!
The original Lost in Space was one of my favorite shows back in the 1960s and I used to love to watch every show see how the robot Will Robinson your when they were blast off into space it was really good show I'm surprised it didn't last longer yeah it should have had more more episodes it was very good
I think Lost was supposed to be on the same page as Trek at it's Genesis. Harris was supposed to be a one episode guest star, however, they decided to keep him & make Lost more of a comedy, pretty much featuring Him, Will & The Robot. Great, the way it went over....
The best collection of insults in the history of You Tube. My hat is off to the person(s) who put all the time and trouble into this for a 14:32 belly laugh! Thank you!!!!!!
Nice meeting you Túrin! Always loved that given name (meaning first name) Túrin as I've forever been a lifelong fan of the great actors Túrhan Bey and Túrin Thatcher despite the fact they were both a bit before my time. Am wondering if you're also Turkish as he was? But I further noticed your personal UA-cam page contains mostly Portuguese so am guessing that's actually your native language. Anyway, the main reason I'm replying is to help make you aware there's no such word as (steem) in the English language. In which case "self steem" doesn't make sense so is a bit confusing. But it's reasonably clear from the surrounding context in the sentence above you meant to say "self-esteem." Not trying to be a nitpicker, petty nor give you a hard time. Just want to help teach you the correct word and expression. You were almost there and only 2 characters short of the goal line. You were only missing the "-e" in between the two words which completes its proper spelling and meaning. While not your native tongue nonetheless your understanding and command of the English language is quite impressive. Keep up the outstanding effort and work!
@@mikeadams110 oops, didn't notice that mistake. Thanks for pointing It out. And no, I'm not Turkish, I'm Brazilian. The username "Túrin Mormegil" comes from the main character from J.R.R Tolkien's novel "The Children of Húrin". Mormegil means "Black sword" and is one of the names Túrin receives for using the infamous sword Gurthang while fighting for the elven Kingdom of Nargothrond.
Frightful Fractured Frump is my favourite.
Holy cow! This was an incredible compilation! Well done!

I love the episode where Dr. Smith falls in love with a green flying lady..
She actually appears in two episodes :)

Wonderful job. I would watch this show often just for the chemistry between robot and Dr smith. Great collection of counts !
Dr.Smith, insult master

I always laughed at the flying insults from Dr Smith...tarnished trumpet
I'm surprised Dr Smith didn't use, Galvanized Goof as an insult
565 insults , good writers back then.
@@johnbockelie3899 Apparently Jonathan Harris came up with most, if not all, of them.
Ninny
365/565. 09:21 Mumbling Mass Of Metal was my personal favorite.
Love that the compilation of put downs is in alphabetical order!
Fantastic!
"Hulking mass of mechanical ignorance"
Pusillanimous pipsqueak !

2 rules you would never open for the Who and never follow this living ham! JH was tough

This is amazing edit to put this classic together..lolz hahaha
So funny! Golden years of US TV Shows!
Makes you wonder what Smith was like as a smart mouthed teenager.😅
in alphabetical order, no less, for easier referencing. bravo
#ninny and #bubbleheadedbooby
Did Dr smith write a lot of these names....?
jonithan harris added all the insults on his own ... ..
All this and not a whit of profanity. He and the robot were actually the best of friends. They would be nothing without each other.
Johnathan Harris made this show about himself/his Dr. Smith character. Totally ruined the show.
