Since you're here, care to explain what's going on with the story in this one? I liked the atmosphere but I'm still not 100% sure of what exactly is going on.
The idea behind this, was the research facility is conducting experiments (kinda resi mixed with half life vibes). So the buildings you could see are more for the low level staff of Nova Nexus, the higher level staff who do all the big research and experiments are in an underground base (this is why when the explosion happens you never see fire or smoke from the buildings as it was underground). The experiment goes totally wrong and that is when the calls start happening. The thing that happens awakes a sort of ghostly demon monster from another plane and that is why the base is shut down and 'Kill everything' protocol is activated so nothing gets out. In regards to the endings. With Ending 1, The Car that lands on the broken down car was chucked by the demon monster thing from the car park. So basically - it got out! Ending 2 is the phones calling the families of the dead. You're the phone near the screen. The big thing that comes out of the base is something that basically creates a massive creator in that part of the world. Hope that helps!
Also the game "I'm on Observation Duty" and its sequels. While you don't play as a security guard, you do constantly check security cameras in that game.
Bonus points - pick a movie tonight that looks good but don’t read the description. (Seriously….why the F do descriptions/movie trailers spoil the best parts of the movie?)

I once did one shift at an abandoned concrete pant. They were filming a movie so there was a bunch of old military trucks they thought needed protecting. This place was locked behind a gate off a 2 lane backwoods road and then you would travel about half a mile up this forgotten road to another gate which the actual factory was behind. I was there during the day for around 8 hours by myself. Kinda creepy but it was day at least. But they had 24/7 security while the movie props were there. And at least one, possibly 2 of the night guards reported seeing a blue car driving by the front of the factory, on a blocked off locked gate road, and then dissapearing into the woods. Only a handful of people had the padlock key. Sheriff's office, us, probably the movie people, and one other building existed on the road that was apparently in some sort of use so the owner of that I suppose. Except the car wasent reported going to the one other building. If memory serves, they said it drove into the treeline. And I also think one guard said he saw it drive in to the woods and later saw it pass by the factory from the direction it originally came. Essentially passing by twice without ever being seen going the opposite direction. Then again, if memory serves I did some research on the place and I believe I found something referencing a murder of a security guard back in the 70s or 80s, possibly 90s, back when the factory was still operating. I'm glad I didn't work night shift out there.
Reminded me when i was still doing a guard duty in a state-owned oil company in 2008. I had to check trucks loaded with gas tanks. Their papers, plate numbers, number of tanks they've brought, and how many persons they have on the truck (usually 2 to 3 persons including driver), all of it had to be precisely the same on the documents they gave to the guards on duty.
