I added the a7iv to my kit, already had a great crop setup with a6600 and some great sigma primes and a travel zoom. The crop body with a prime lens is great when I want to be discreet or pack light. The a7iv with my f2.8 zoom trio isn’t as bad as I thought, and the Sony 16-35GM, Sigma 24-70 and Tamron 70-180 fit snug into a sling bag just fine. I’ll be trying out this system on a short vacation soon. I can imagine the focus mapping feature would help landscape photographers make sure everything is in focus.
Hey, that was a really nice video! Well done! I was wondering if you noticed any differences regarding heat development? Does the A7IV get hotter than the A7III?
In our hands I couldn't feel any difference, the only issue we had was that the A7IV during our test had the threshold as normal, and alerted overheating. It would happen also with the A7III but I had it on high already :D
I always use BT2020 when recording with HLG3 ! Just have to remember later to convert it to rec 709 on your editing software. Either by Color Space Transform on DaVinci or Interpreting the footage on Premiere (finalcut i don't remember the name)
Very nice video ! I have a7lll the only downside of the camera it's the viewfinder and the screen but for my work it's interesting the 10 bits of the a7lV because I do videos of interior design and arquitechture and sometimes you have to change a lot the colors and the 8 bits just breaks also 4k 60p sounds great but I can say the a7lll can do the job done with great quality!
Hi Jonatan!! Wow, that's really interesting! Which cases did you notice changing the colors made it break apart ? I do interiors also, but mostly photography. Are you considering upgrading ? Thanks for watching !
@@FlyEnri well I notice when I desaturated some colors and increase another's in video you can see some artifacts (4k 24p hlg 3 rec 709) but in photography I don't have problems ! It's a great camera even in this days. Maybe I have to improve to part of colour grading haha
Well I consider make the update but maybe I will wait a bit but its a little improve for videography . Sometimes we see some things that the client doesn't matter .
Even if you are top on color grading for sure there will be some limitation, it's nowhere near changing the colors on a photo :D And yeah, usually clients can't really notice much of a difference, hahahaha
Hi TP ! Yes we had, but it's a matter of changing the overheating settings to High. You will notice that the camera is nowhere near hot, but for safety will stop. With that setting on, we never experienced trouble!
Hi ! They are so similar in many ways, but one that totally made me skeptical about the R6 was the overheating issue. I went out shooting with a friend that owns it, and if shooting in 4K it was totally unpredictable if it was going to stop recording at some point, and it wasn't in summer. In this regard for now I'm totally pro A7IV. But i'd love to test it more :D
Depends on budget and if you need the specs dear! As a value choice, the A7iii is still holding up pretty well! But if you got the budget I'd go A7IV :D

You got a pretty great setup with these lenses and the A7IV then, totally ready for all situations!
I own A7m3 and I happy to do photography and videos with my gear, it all rounder the camera. Grate video. Keep it up..... 😊
It's an insane camera, isn't it ?! I'm super happy also! :D Thanks for watching !!

Great video! Nice job.
Thanks a lot Majid!!
which colormode you used with hlg3 rec 709 or bt 2020?

@@FlyEnri thanks for clarifying, appreciate it.
Would you prefer the Sony a7 v over the Canon r6

Wich one is buy a7m4 or a7m3
Depends on budget and if you need the specs dear! As a value choice, the A7iii is still holding up pretty well! But if you got the budget I'd go A7IV :D
Bravo!
