- Chris and Rich of The Black Crowes stopped by The Bobby Bones Show and shared that 30 years later, they're both finally ready to play the songs on tour everyone wants to hear. The two of them revealed never fought while writing, but during the touring and album cuts, they had a lot of disagreements.

I know I'm 1 year late to this party, but, this is the Robinson Bros. The Black Crowes will NEVER be the same because there's a couple missing that were the soul of this band.

Listening to Black Crowes makes me fell young again, I still have this song on my playlist no matter what! Chris still sounds like the good ole days!! You guys have been greatly missed!

love that the brothers...are brothers and friends and in a band again...but, hate that steve is not there. steve is 1/3 of the crowes. he is the heart and soul of that band. please guys...the new band you have is great. great dudes. killer players. but steve is missing in so many ways. his pocket and feel IS the backbone of the black crowes.
Steve does not want to be there. He didn’t write the songs either. He’s definitely central to the history and the sound... but he really doesn’t want to be around them... check his book and interviews

Admiro muito a serenidade de rich robinson. O porta voz da banda sempre foi chris, por falar mais, e otimo frontmem que é. Mais o silencioso rich,é a alma por tras de todos os grandes riffs dos crowes. Alem de ser um exelente guitarrista sem fritasao chata ou pose. É ele que conduz o ritmo na banda... fui apresentado a essa banda por um amigo,que me mostrou o album amorica. Até hoje é minha banda preferida.

I am a huge Crowes fan. I saw them open for Aerosmith and Shake your Money Maker was to be released a month later! I have seen them 7 times. One of the best shows I ever seen was at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. Not to sound like sour grapes, but my biggest peeve is guys from bands touring as their band and its not, This is not a Black Crowes reunion or tour Its the Robinson Brothers and hired musicians. to me its false advertisment.
Know what you mean but end of the day these two legends are the only ones responsible giving us these songs.
My favourite band
First, the Crowes have always had change over. Always. Whether it is Marc Ford, Audley Freed, or Luther Dickinson, there has not been a set player. I can say the same for bass. Gorman has always been the drummer, and so that one hurts. But, in general, those players changed but the Robinson brothers were the center. The new members in the band? Phenomenal. Isaiah Mitchell is a monster player. Go check out his band Earthless. He may be the closest thing to Hendrix out there right now. A great player. Raj Ohja and Joel Rabinow are from the killer psych band Once and Future Band. I think they found some darn good players, arguably better in my opinion than Hess, Freed, Dickinson, Johnny Colt, you name it. The shows will bear it out.
Jack Thompson I don’t think anybody was ever anything other than hired except for Steve. Steve hates them both and wouldn’t want to be there. So really not much to mourn there. The past is the past and i rather they’re working together than not quite frankly

I just think these guys are another underrated rock band who have their own unique sound that take years for folks to appreciate the new sound.
Can i compare them to The Cars? Not by sound but originality of thier unique sound and style.
