Very much worth the cost. Diversity in a gym routine is key especially for plateaus you may come across. This replaces a number of gym machines. Love it.
Nice review. Thank you. I’m very on the fence about these. Most reviews come to the same conclusion as you: expensive for what they are, can’t do much else that you can already do with a barbell/dumbbells, finicky setup/install, but it sure looks cool. I have a ML rack just like you, and the money is probably better used elsewhere, but it’s still tempting. If they were like $500ish it would make a lot more sense.
I might be having the same issue you did with the trolley. No matter how much I adjust the rollers on both trolleys, when I pull the release pin on the back to slide the trolley up/down, the pin will not fully release... small part of it is still in the rack. I have adjusted the rollers, no matter if tight or loose, the pin will not come out completely.
Thank you for the review. I have the same rack you have but the shorter version. Rouge said they didn’t recommend the trolly for the fold back racks because they’re not bolted to the floor. Do you feel that could be an issue with prolonged use?
Great question! I have the Monster Short 21" fold back. I'm wondering the same thing...too bad he hasn't answered you in 5 months!!! check out @pendergraphics (You tube) he has a great review on the lever arms and why to buy the short (even tho they cost the same). He'll also get back to your question right away...sharp guy.
I just subbed! Great video with honest opinions. I’m looking at the short lever arm. I think being able to use inside the cage and out side the cage has more to offer. I have the monster 4 so it will be interesting to see the difference. Also I was planning on moving the lever arms inside and out side the cage but your honest opinion about getting them just right made that seem more like a wish and less like an actual achievement.
Thinking about getting short ones and une them inside the rack that way they don't clutter space if they set outside?? Was thi king about getting foldable rack too but if I get these arms the foldable rack won't work that good with these cause is gonna take all the space in front of it. And then if I wanna use uprights for something else have to move arms out of the way everytime.
Great video and review of the trolley arms. On the fence with $1k as I feel it will be more than just that. Couple of quick questions. 1) you using 48” arms any issues using safety bars? 2) would 35” be just as good as 48”? 3) socket pull up bar in center (knurled bar) with socket components work great? More exercises to use?? 4) did you have to protect the arms with spotter bars from banging? Sorry on amount of questions. LOL.
Thank you! the problem with the 48" arms is that the rubber stopper misses the spotter arm completely so when the lever goes down, its metal on metal (i use a little sand bag to protect) here is a link to my my other video using a pull-up/socket bar in the middle of both arms ua-cam.com/video/-9VbQI6llxs/v-deo.html
I would check with PRX on whether they even recommend on their pull down rack. Rogue doesn't recommend for their own fold back racks. check out @pendergraphics (You tube) he has a great review on the lever arms and why to buy the short (even tho they cost the same).
Nice review! I have the fold back rack as well. I reached out to rogue and they said you need to have the rack bolted in to the ground to use level arms, but it’s great to see you using it here. Have you run into any issues with it? I am considering getting the lever arm system. Thanks!!
I Didn't have any issues when I used it on the fold back rack, but keep in mind that I sinched up the middle with additional pullup bar... so it's alot more secure than it was originally.. hope that helps!
I initially was super excited, but after seeing some reviews and demonstrations I think I'm going to have to pass on it. It's too expensive and too cumbersome. I think it would end up pissing me off and making me feeling like it was cluttering up my rack. I do think doing shoulder presses and bench press variants on it would be enjoyable, but I still can't justify it. Thanks for the review. Reviews like this help me know which equipment to buy.
If you have watched my later videos, I go rid of the rogue trolley arms because I just didn’t end up using them that much… but then ended up purchasing the cheaper titan fitness lever arms… because I was missing one exercise (the twisting core press)
most of the time they do fall into place but occasionally (on certain holes on the rack ) you need to push on the pin a bit once lined up.... probably because of the holes them selves rather than the pin on the trolley
OK so what if I wanna do barbell work, do I need to take them of all the time or can I live them there permanently and add j hooks to leverage arms and use barbell there?
I have the monster. I have found many uses for it. Really happy to have it. I like to bench press from the seated position

Yea I saw his, short is the way I went. Range of motion is not compromised at all, inside and outside the rack usage. Def worth it and more.
Great video thank u. I think I will get the titan plate loaded functional trainer instead of this arms

I could use them but not for 1000 grand.

I bought both long and short arms. More versatility with short. Long ones are laying on the floor against the wall
Haha... mine too ;)
thanks for the review , informative and straight to the point..much love bro.

Does the pin move in and out freely when it’s not on your rack?
@@CurlsintheRack Yes it does and this is on both trolleys. I even double checked to ensure I bought the correct set up.
I just picked up these same trolley arms. I saw in another video where a lady had a leg press plate. I would be interested in that.
What was the video title?

Will the rogue monster fit on a PRX Pro rack? Holes, bolts and everything?
I would check with PRX on whether they even recommend on their pull down rack. Rogue doesn't recommend for their own fold back racks. check out @pendergraphics (You tube) he has a great review on the lever arms and why to buy the short (even tho they cost the same).
Is this 35 or 48 inch? Nice review
In that review (48 inch) I have since moved to the shorter ones

If anyone has these can they tell me how much clearance approx do the trolley wheels give from the rack?
check out @pendergraphics (You tube) he has a great review on the lever arms and why to buy the short (even tho they cost the same).
So how do u like the leverage arms so far? I have heard more negatives than positives unfortunally so I habe not purchase them yet and probably wont

Very nice review. Appreciate it! Quick question. I have Reps PR-5000 Rack which is a 3x3 with 1” holes. Will this trolley system fit?
As long as it is the same size uprights and the same hole spacing, I don’t see why not.
Wait, I misread that… you need 5/8th in holes… won’t work
What rack is that?
Rogue Monster Lite Fold Back Wall Mount Rack.
Is this the 3w?
Who makes the intro beat?
I'm looking at buying what you showed me, you got the link for me?
Did you install that on a rogue rack?
Yes. Rogue Monster Lite is the name of the rack.
Does that locking pin fall into the holes easily as stated on their website? Saw some other video where they had a hard time pushing in the pin
most of the time they do fall into place but occasionally (on certain holes on the rack ) you need to push on the pin a bit once lined up.... probably because of the holes them selves rather than the pin on the trolley

If you just have a similar rack and not a cage, yes you can mount your j hooks directly to the arms for benching and squats.
What he said
Do these work with prx 3x3 rack? Probably not but I have to ask
@@futbol1972 the monster series is 3x3
@@brucegoose6717 my prx is a 3x3 too
what size of arms 48 or 35"
48"
@@CurlsintheRack You think the shorter ones would lose some functionality
Dont waste your money if you have a monster lite rack Rogue really cut a ton of quality yet not the price
not worth the money in my opinion....
Wow thanks for sharing. What a trash unit
