@@CurlsintheRack sorry to be painful my man. I have a cage from a company called iron edge here in Melbourne Australia could I get some help with the hole sizing. Would love to buy the smaller rogue arms but didn't want to spend all that money if they wernt compatible and don't fit. Measurements are 65mm x 65mm and 26mm diameters with iron edge so hoping they may work together
Thanks, exactly the content I was looking for except for the fact that a day ago I wasn't even remotely considering the trolley arms. Now its a tough call haha.
Sold me on the short arms as soon as I saw it… (iso bench) 😊 * don’t think REP sells a short version though. Wanting to get the Ares REP for the dual stack weights. (Supposedly will be in Europe early this year) Considered Rogue, but they don’t sell the stack weights here - yet. Anyway- cool!
Really good video going over the differences of short vs long. I am now considering short. Hey I notice the chart you made for your weightlifting gains. I'm hoping if you can make a video going over that, that be cool. I don't see many videos out there mentioning how to record your training.
@@CurlsintheRack its possible for bottom curls and pulls? what do the down attachment look like it looks not possible since it only lifts the weights up?
Hello. I apreciate the videos alot, and it has so far help me to clarify a future decision on short vs. Long jammers. However. I do have one thing that is abit unclear still. Since i would like to be able to use jammer arms for kickback, and sidekick, i wonder if the short ones will offer proper range of motion, and i would love to hear some feedback on that issue. Basicly i see others just connect the jammerarms, with some crossover unit, and then they kick against that. So yea.. feedback on how it feels on short arms if possible.. you might be able to use the hip thrust seat as well, to use instead of crossovers. Also since the short arms, are mounted inside, it makes me think if theres enough room to stabelize if the backend of rack, is all up close to the wall, and its only small rack with 4 uprights, so essentialy one might have to place the rack some x amount of space from the wall, to be able to “stabelize/press against the wall, to create force on the push”. I hope all of this makes sence, as it it some core exercises that may be unlocked with the setup, and thus research for me is importent, so i can make a correct choice. Thanks :)
if they can incorporate straight bar rather than a single handle ( similar to the articulating handles ) that would be huge! the handles that come with trolley system too heavy pretty much takes my wife out from using the Attachments
went back and forth with long vs short. ended up with long reason is the weight of arms ( long vs short) is 7 lbs. if and when they come out with attachments i would assume they would focus on long arms because of area needed for exercises and last if your rack is backed up to a wall it will be a Pain to get in back to lift the trolley while long will not be an issue.
That’s a good point.... Although I’ve been waiting on these attachments that are in “development” for years now.... do you have any info on a release Date or what the first attachment will be for the RML version?
It does… it’s still has an inside depth of 43”… also it has an additional 24” depth space on the back side for plate storage, accessories etc… hope that helps!
I need some advice please. I have a prx rack, lat pull down machine and a titan tower cable machine, demmbells and tons of functional trainning equipment. if you had my set up will you sell PRX rack and buy a rogue wall rack or full rack to add rogue leverage arms OR just keep existing set up and add one of thoese compact powertec leverage gyms to existing set up. If I decide to get a powertec leverage gym I will get the one with lat pull down machine and get rid of the one I have..OR I can also get the powertec multipress machine without lat pull down and keep everything as i have it right now. . I was also going to get a rep fitness rack with lat pull down attachment and add the rogue leverage arms to it and this way I will have everything in one rack. Anyways any ideas I will really appreciated. By the way my sister in law is been asking me to sell it my prx rack so I already have a buyer.
Excellent video. As I mentioned in your DYI video, I originally got the long ones but then ordered the short. Haven’t touched the long ones since. But I also am not that creative and have yet to use them inside the rack.
Do you know is the linear metal arm can be cut and reassembled to shorten? I can’t tell from pictures or video if it’s held together by bolt/nut or a pin permanently pressed.
What's the minimum rack depth needed to fit the arms? The short arms are listed at 35", but it looks like the trolley itself adds additional length. Could you possibly measure the distance from the post to the edge of arm for us? Thank you and I your videos have been really informative!
How did you connect the cable to the slinger to the trolley arms. I am purchasing an RM-4. Trying to figure out how you connected it. Did you custom make the attachment or is it something that can be purchased?
Thanks for posting the video man. My first question is: I am only 5’7”. Do you find doing seared chest press with the trolly arms more like doing wide bench or regular? Second question: I watched you do deadlift with the 35” trolly arms. Do you find you have good range of motion? Getting a feel for all the weight throughout the movement?
How u doing g brotha?brother?? Its been a while. Hey do u still recomend the functional trainner over the leverage arms? I sold my prx rack and Valor lat pull down machine and some other equipment so iam looking for stuff to buy...I was looking at the rhino belt squat plus rack and it looks like I can do tons of exercises with it besides belt squats I can even add a slinger to do lat pull downs too. Anyways even thinking everyday what to buy..ether the rhino belt squat plus rack or rep fitness with ares or one of thoes all in one functio al trainners like brute force and it comes with leverage arms, weight stack, smith machine, cable system. etc...etc..they are all close to same price about $4000. I know it's my decision but if you were in my shoes what would you prefer. I habe 2 lower buldging disk in my lower back so belt squats will be cool I guess. I know rep has a belt squat attachment too. Anyways iam looking for the one that is more versatile
You can likely use rubber automotive bushings for that purpose. These ones on a Porsche, PN 2290016, even have a little recess for the nut/bolt/washer. There are likely others that can accomplish the same function even better too.
@@CurlsintheRack wow, I heard others state that Rogue wasn’t fulfilling any special orders at the moment. Looks awesome by the way. Would you consider moving the short arms outside your rack, in order to achieve belt squat movements as well?

Great video…. I am debating on what width rack and lever arms. Looks like the 4ft rack and short trolley arms are the way to. Is your rack bolted down? I don’t want to drill in my garage so I am thinking I need the RM6 with weight storage
I have the RML-3 so neither would fit on the inside of my rack. With that said, would you still recommend the short ones for using on the outside all the time on a smaller rack? Curious if using my spotter arms would work for the bench press movement like in your video on the outside. Thanks!
The only thing I can tell you is this… I originally ordered the long version, payed full price… then eventually purchased the short arms, payed full price again (225$ just the arms) and sold the long ones…. Hope that helps!
I agree that short arms are better pick overall, but long arms are superior for movements with larger ROM (e.g., belt squats, car DL, leg press)
This is why I went after the longer arms, I wanted the ability to perform belt squats and deadlifts with no issues outside my rack.
How can you do belt squats with rogues arms? Is there an attachment?
@@TheVsa17 no I just purchased a belt squat belt, some 5-50 cord, and rappel carabiner then BOOM.

Great material here, thanks for all your work. Can you still use these shorter arms for hip thrusters and leg press?
Oh yeah... definitely.... long enough for both exercises.... and thank you 🙏
If you have the Ares, having the short arms makes more sense, cause the long arms will get in the way of the Ares cable system
i love to get one of those but its not in my country , can i diy ?
of course... haven't you seen my other videos? (diy the arms anyways)
