They are cold, soulless shells of the people they once were, and they will stop at nothing to completely obliterate whatever interfered with their once peaceful existence.

To add insult to injury from this sense; some of the bystanders that were in that school just bare witness to that brutal Slaughter fest. Eeesh it must have been very unnerving to see that, though then again considering the fact that these three bullies had nothing to do but torment Rinne constantly in her life. But the cherry on top of all this, they were somewhat responsible for Rinne's grandfather's death. This was immediately the final straw for her & at that point, Rinne had finally snapped & takes her frustration out on her former tormentors, putting an end to them once n' for all. And that's exactly what she did, oof & let me tell ya all it takes was just one bad day to make a person snap.
I haven't watched Vivid Strike, but when you look at the subtitles in English, those psychopaths pretend to be Rinnie's friends and destroyed her stuffs, her phone, and breaking the keepsake from her grandfather. Two girls said her " ignore him " cause they just want to change her bad ( and idk what type of sadistic bullies who wants to put her adoptive parents' down, but that's messed up man, she's an orphan ) Quite girls are the rarest, cause they will have a meltdown and beat the sh1t out of them. This is just my thoughts.

Sure the payback part from Rinne was her being bullied constantly however for the hole majority was Pure Revenge. Mainly because of that Rinne's former tormentors were partially responsible for a grandfather's death, which then caused Rinne to finally lose it & straight up murder them. So yeah it's basically a mix blend of Payback & Revenge but still either way, still screwed up on the bullies part & Purley brutal from the aftermath of their actions which leaded to their deaths in the first place.
