As an upcoming PS5 Sea of Thieves player, these tips are highly appreciated. I honestly couldn't believe how addiciting the game was in even the closed beta! Any and all tips are always appreciated.

My tip would be it's quite alright to drop anchor to make the ship stop exactly where you like it, but then immediately raise it back up and make sure the sails are ALL the way up and the wheel is centered. Also, when I sail to an island I wait until the text appears on screen telling you which island you have arrived at. Once the text graphic appears, that's when I raise the sails at least half way, maybe 3/4 of the way and glide in. Also if your ship does take damage, BAIL the water first until it's down almost to the ground (or at least till all the holes are visible) , then plug the holes.

Communication can turn the tide of ANY situation! Mics save ships, loot AND lives. Don't be afraid to chat with a fellow pirate but don't feel obligated to trust them. It adds a level of possibilities to NOT sinking.

Readjustment to tip 9. If you're like me stack your loot masochistically and power sell.
I try not to encourage new pirates to stack as it feels way worse when you’re relying on that loot to get to pirate legend, y’know? It’s also easier once they own their own ship to sell.

Oh for sure - once pirates get to grips with the basics, it’s a free for all. Those curse cannons in your barrel? They’re mine to steal ;)
But at the beginning, it can be so harsh and I’m really hoping they come back after their first sink haha.
Still impossible to beat two+ sweats alone...
How to not sink? Don't play. I literally was sailing without anything and still got chased for half of an hour (I finally won (2 times))
Of course everyone will sink eventually - I even alluded to this in the video itself. But this video can at least forewarn new players on how to not run into typical trouble.
Please make a video how to get gold and blue coins "quick", im new and want to buy things but dang everything is expisive
Gold is incredibly easy to get - hand any treasure in or work on the season pass levels and you’ll get gold. Everything is about gold in the Sea of Thieves.
As for doubloons, I will eventually make a guide but other videos are taking priority so it won’t be for a few weeks. So, I suggest you just look at the Sea of Thieves wiki honestly.
I support all the points except not wearing the sets that you get from down there, the sets, weapons, boat parts are there to use, however you want, calling others noobs for wearing any article of clothing seems elitist, classist to me and arrogant, everyone passed by there, they were not born with the obsidian set, the ferryman, or barnacle in their trunks on the first day
I genuinely think you missed the joke. You’re talking to the pirate who mained Venomous Kraken for over a year. They are classed newbie attire though; they are the most colourful, cheapest collections new players can afford at the start of their journey. Do they have to wear them? No. Did I say they should never wear them? No. Did I even say I wore them? Yes.
At the end of the day, it’s a video game and it’s only as deep as you make it. Calling me classist and elitest is hilarious when all of my content is FOR to the new pirate - I earned the privilege of being Sea of Thieves’ first TikTok Partner because all I make is content for the brand new pirate 😂
