52 toys do some amazing work. I definitely plan on getting downspiral, their various model kit-esque figures, and, most importantly, their upcoming dragonfly that can transform into a box or a helicopter Edit: Onitopte is the name of the dragofly. I actually wanna see them do a twin rotor copter the transforms into a wyvern

Robot origami is how I’ve always thought of them. I’ve quit going through Bigbadtoystore because I have had beast box on back order for over a year and can get them others places in stock. No idea what’s going on over at BBTS but they’ve let me down far as these go.
I ordered Optimus primal from them Nov 24th. Got it about 3 days ago. Ya it was a good price n hard to find but that's a long time. It's my first time with them. I'm working on cang toys mini preds but everywhere takes forever to ship them. Been waiting 2 weeks for the bird of eBay

While I absolutely love the creature mode, I am left scratching my head over the box alt mode. It just seems really dumb and pointless. Sad really, because I can totally see it in a robot mode.

To me, Downspiral seems to be based on the extinct cone-shelled ancestral cephalopods like Orthoceras.
I was thinking Cameroceras but Orthoceras works as well

I bought the BeastBox Old One on impulse a while back, it's probably one of the coolest impulse buys I've ever made. 52Toys are magicians.
