So what if I only want to record professional studio level vocals to then send them to a producer for mixing and mastering ? In that case would you say that a mic + interface (Scarlett) connected to my iPhone 15 pro max to use Voice Memos would get the job done ? (Of course considering the room as well )
Hi, I’ve been recording simply with Voice Memo, and I’d like to level up. I’m not sure what you mean by the DAW, and what app you’re using. Please help? I have an iPhone X, btw. Do you think the microphone is good enough?
DAW stands for Digital Audio Workstation. It allows you to record your voice straight to your computer and edit it there! There are some free options out there to get started. I made a video detailing some different options here: ua-cam.com/video/3s4www6AKgs/v-deo.html -- This would be a great way to start leveling up your sound! The next thing I'd recommend would be investing in a microphone and audio interface so you can record to your computer! The iphone X is fine starting out, but it won't give you as a good of results as a dedicated microphone!
Thankyou Marty & I will try it
Have a great day
Hope you enjoy!
What is the song you are demoing with in this video?
It's an original song I wrote! It's still a very rough demo right now, but it works for demonstrating this technique!
@@Music-By-Mattie I was gonna ask the same thing. It sounds really nice and catchy.
