Rest in Peace, Alyn. Thank you for inspiring the world to do and appreciate astrophotography. Going to still watch your videos as your method of teaching and your voice is very relaxing. Clear skies always on the great beyond.
I will keep you in my thoughts every time I look at the night skies. You may have left earth but you have found your way among the stars. Thank you so much for being an inspiration.
Wow that just brought tears to my eyes seeing and hearing you Alyn. I still can’t believe you have left this planet, but there is some hope that you will bring us more reason to look at the night sky and remember what a true gentleman you were. I had the privilege of meeting you twice and attending one of your workshops in the Brecon Beacons. What a night that was, but made all the better because of your knowledge and passion. This world will not be the same without but I wish you clear skies and good luck on your next journey x😢
A passionate “connaisseur” and “teacher” of the night sky, generously inspiring us to look up and capture the beaty of the cosmos 💫🪐🌚🤩 Thanks for your valuable teachings Alyn - may the skies be always clear at your present location ✨- RIP❤️
RIP man, It was great meeting you out under the stars of Wales. Alyn couldn't help himself sharing his vast knowledge and the best places to shoot. This meteor shower will have extra meaning and I'll be looking out for you as I gaze upwards.
I was out most of last night trying out my new tracker. For the last couple hours I tried for the Lyrids, I captured quite a few, but they were faint and some wispey high level cloud moved in. Visually I saw some awesome meteors high in the sky, slow and very bright.
you shouldn't need to. maybe if you're just looking for where they're starting from but they're moving much faster than stars so a tracker would be useless. I could be wrong tho!

Amazing 👍
Rest in peace.
I have been waiting for this vid lol. Any idea on how to best photograph for meteors?
good bye Alyn - rest in peace.
Yay it's raining where I am how wonderful
Rip mate
Did see couple of them on 20th April
It’s clear and a little chilly here in North western North Carolina but it’s clear and I could see all the way to the moon before it set 😂😂
I saw a couple last night, but tonight is forecast cloud and rain, so won't have much chance
I have clouds tonight but coming from the west so my easy should be clear I might just go out and see
I saw today a lyrid meteor 2:30am
damn...missed it
😢
Do you use a tracker to photograph meteor showers?
you shouldn't need to. maybe if you're just looking for where they're starting from but they're moving much faster than stars so a tracker would be useless. I could be wrong tho!
🥺🥺🥺🥺
Why is this in my feed in August?
I Already Live In A Rural Location So I Can See The Stars, Zodiacal Light, Milky Way etc. 😎😎😎
Gonna be in the wrong place to see it. Otherwise my backyard is usually great!
A little late watching this video 5-28😂
And none have ever been seen coming to earth, they are not what they say, the stars are here
Unfortunately it’s been nothing but overcast here…
I found you on google…
Plot twist: they are a mile big and destroy the world
I’ll be out, making a wish for you and your family
i watched for 1 hour and didnt got any
Went for 3 hours saw 10
Man i cant see bc of the fucking clouds
Yay, it's a clear night in Oxfordshire!!! 🌘🌠🪐 🎉
