So mad that Renault doesn’t sell cars here as I’ve always been in love with their cars from the Megane rs 250 being my dream car, and wanting badly to own a 1973 alpine a110.
I live in France and drive a Renault daily. You're not missing out TBH. They really make underpowered cars with sluggish rubbery manual gearboxes, uncomfortable seats and soft brakes. The interior inside a Renault is very basic as well. In fact, a lot of French people would rather drive a VW. Renault Sport is a different story however. They make expensive, small production run "race cars" like the Megane in the video.
Dear James, I would like to mention that I found one mistake in this epizode. Renault Megane RS Trophy R do not use 4control (all wheel steering) system only regular RS and RS Trophy have it. They removed it to save weight and also because it proved to be problematic to calibrate for Nürburgring. Cheers. :)
And the price is 80.000€ with carbon-ceramic brake system (25.000€), with 20% taxes and pollution extra taxe (7.000€). If it was sold in the US the price of the basic RS Trophy would be less than $50.000 before taxes.
True, except the Cupra hatch has got 286bhp in its current form (I had one) and I think it was the Cupra 300 (296bhp) that set the record around the ring.
No, the pre facelift was not avalible as four wheel drive. the record was set by a Leon cupra ST 280. Not only the fastest FWD but also the fastest station wagon as it set the record.
I like my focus RS. thank youuuu. awd yes. prior to the RS i had an ST so i know about the fwd zippers. must say the ST was really fun of a car. It was also faster around the ring than the integra type R. @ 8.39

GreasyPigeon they’re both underrated and affordable
I feel like the C5 doesn't get the respect it deserves either. I mean, the C5 is what really all the other Corvettes after are built upon. You can literally use C6 parts on a C5 or vice versa because they are literally the same. The C7 was just a better version of the C6 as the C6 was just a slightly better version of the C5. Plus, the C5 is what gave us all the LS engines. You can buy a used C5 that is still mechanically sound for roughly $10,000. That's how much I got mine for just over a year ago. It had 105,000 miles on it when I got it. It now has over 135,000 miles and has gone from Texas to Maine and back again. 2 days each way. I have driven mine in the middle of a few snow storms and she still goes just as fast as the day I first got her.

Errr... No. We drop the baguette and snails and pour some eau-de-vie in the gas tank. If the injection system can handle it, then we put some saucisson skin under the turbo release valve to keep the pressure up. If the engine doesn't blow up then we unfold the Opinel knife and cut away useless parts like fenders, seats, door covers or ABS systems.

FINALLY MEGANE RS 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Cheers. :)
Also, he used the megane 3´s interior photo when talking about the megane 2 ^^
And the price is 80.000€ with carbon-ceramic brake system (25.000€), with 20% taxes and pollution extra taxe (7.000€).
If it was sold in the US the price of the basic RS Trophy would be less than $50.000 before taxes.

That seat you’ve shown is actually the 300hp four wheel drive. The hatchback is the 276hp fwd car. Not the estate
The Ccobalt SS turbo was faster than the Integra Type R on the ring
