Remember in Reach you could put on parts to make not only survive in water but also different types of combat purposes, flying for an example, or close courters combat, etc. So I have a theory about that. They gave Master Chief different parts in his suit, which is prevalent in the beginning. Remember Chief getting lectured about the armour he fried in the beginning of Halo 2? Well he was given prototypes and he used them in the utmost harsh environments.

They take time to charge up and the spartans stayed still most of the time whilst charging, and had to stop if a teammate got in the way, which happened a lot because they were all on the same level and at the back meaning it was impossible to get a shot off before the fuel rods at the top back of the elites could just fire over and kill half of the spartans....
Haven't done my "couple of comments" in a while, so here goes nothing: 1. Great battle! It actually felt evenly matched (although that's likely because they are basically the same in this game, lol)! :D 2. My favorite moments have to be when Arbiter killed all the Spartans with the grenade and that drunk rocket at 2:24. xD 3. Please do some Halo 2 _exclusive_ battles! (Enforcers, heretics, or bosses)! :P

You can get the same result by timing a swing with the gravity hammer correctly. Never seen anyone get a deflect kill though, that'd be amazing.
The Spartan laser and the fuel rod cannon are not equivalent. The Spartan laser has barely any sort of splash damage.

Grumpy Cat King He has the same health tables as the Arbiter does... If you noticed, the Arbiter can take two or three direct shotgun blasts with his shields out.
AND the Elites he used were very UNDERpowered. The spartans were from MULTIPLAYER. the Elites were from CAMPAIGN. their sheild is weaker, and the do alot less melee damage.

GameCheat13 how did you get spartan AI? I'm curious as I'm trying to do AI battles in Halo 2 and 3 and I am curious if I need to swap a marine model with spartan to get it to work. Any insight would be helpful. I'm currently messing with the H2EK
