- I finally lined up the Polaris Scrambler XP1000S against Mike's Can Am Renegade 1000. It was a ton of fun seeing what the machine could do and playing on Mike's track afterwards was a total blast! I'm gonna be sad to see this machine go..

This was the race I have been waiting to see for a while on your channel!! Thanks for sharing! I'm not surprised that the Renegade was faster because Can-Am has always been the leader in innovation and performance. They have always dominated the sector. I say that being non-biased because I absolutely love Polaris as well. I love the color that Polaris offers for the scrambler but I just can't get over how ugly the front end looks. Can-Am definitely has a much better looking machine, especially the 2023 model! 😍😍😍

ive had both quads, the xxc def has more sport quad and the Polaris is more utility big bore , im 51 years old and prefer the monster truck over the trail boss, but if i want the sport quad i'd much rather rip a Raptor 700r!!

Good stuff man. Was about how i figured it would be. Renny is faster and the Polaris handles better. It was awesome though that both machines had same mods so it was apples to apples. Thanks for doing this and thanks to mike for helping make it happen. I can't wait to do my own comparisons 😁
I had both machines and love them. The scrambler fits my style of sand riding. Long travel suspension is so much better for the woops

I’m team scrambler for sure but in a lot of the ORV parks in Washington state have gate keepers 48” wide so it wouldn’t fit - but I would love to ride that in the dunes or beaches in

That's unfortunate you have to give the Polaris back so soon. Im a die hard Can Am guy since 2008 but your videos definitely have me liking that Scrambler XP 1000 S. The 1000 S definitely seems like its and awesome trail quad. on another note What year is Mikes Renegade? By far the best videos of the scrambler XP 1000 S on the internet!

Wanna buy a new SxS but also want that Scrambler S. May be the Scrambler. I really like the riding experience quads offer compared to a SxS.
Understandable. I am a quad guy, though it has been many years since owning one. My wife is trying to talk me into getting a SxS since she would be able to ride along. Thankfully both SxS and quads can be made street legal in my state. I'd rather have a quad and get her one as well with a couple radios.
I like both quads and even though the Renegade is faster id much rather have that Scrambler!

What I really want to know how does jumping renegade feel compared to Scrambler I can’t imagine another full size quad feeling as good landing a jump as my Scrambler
I've never ridden a quad with suspension like the Scrambler XPS. You can charge through almost all terrain on the throttle. You'd think it'd be a handful but it's actually the opposite and super easy to ride. It's been a privilege to put so much seat time on one 👌🙌
Battle of the beast haha. I would personally prefer the can am out of the 2 quads but there both nice! Just not as nice as a raptor haha

Just bought me a 2023 Scrambler xp 1000 S. Gonna get clutch, high air flow filter, exaust and a professional tune when the warranty runs out. Should wake it up alot. Do I need a fuel optimizer when I get it professionally tuned.
Yeah I was recommended the power vision 3 (PV3) by ncbperformance.com which is easier to install than the power commander 6 we put on. However I do think a dyno tuner will have more adjustability with the PC6 than the PV3. If you haven’t sourced your exhaust yet I would definitely hit up NCB. Trevor has been great to work with there 👍
I have one myself! I put a full HMF on mainly because of the price and I’ve always been an HMF fan. It sounds AMAZING! Think Rzr turbo it’s just WILD. Install sucked but wasn’t horrible. For the price it’s honestly hard to beat. Get the ecu flashed tuned as well it works better than any piggyback ever will though BVC had good luck with the HMF piggyback. I need to get mine dyno tuned to be spot on. I got the HMF programmed flash tuner and it feels like it could use a little fine tuning but that’s just me. It runs great but has some backfiring on decel but could be attributed to the dual pipes as well. So far I love the entire machine it’s a wild ride

Out of the box they’re the smoothest riding ATV I’ve ever been on. Very impressive machines. I’m just not sure how reliable they are for the long term
Am i being punked?... The Polaris Scrambler 1000 is $18,000 new and the Can-am Renegade is $11,000? Can-am products are usually way more expensive then the competitors.
Can am dont have a product like the s model thats why.. exemple an outlander xmr is the equivalent of a sportsman highlifter and its the top of the model from brp but polaris as an s version with insane suspension and drivability wich is why this model is way more expensive then the rest of the competition because theire is not really any comp to those models
I don’t know what your looking at but the renegade XXC is about 150$ cheaper then the Polaris and has much worse suspension and ergonomics.

I thought it was on but it wasn't! 🥺 dropped the ball on that one. Thankfully it doesn't make a huge power difference but it's still a bummer it was off

@@leedimatteo5078 it may have taken off a hair faster but when we tried standard vs performance mode on the dyno it added about half a horsepower so overall I think he still would’ve reeled me in. I didn’t even think to look at it because I thought it was on 🤦♂️

As a proud owner of both I say the renegade is more comfortable than the scrambler but the scrambler has more reliability
No The new Scrambler 1000S is the most comfortable quad on the market.
@@utooeasy not for me i guess it comes down to user preference I have so many issues with my renegade but it more comfortable than the scrambler but the scrambler has 0 issues with it out of my 2 years of owning it only thing I have done is replace the oil and everything I have done with my renegade is replace the belt 3 times the rear axel 2 times the starter once and the clutch 5 times but on long trail rides I’ll take the renegade because it’s more comfortable then the sportsman just on how the seat is and how you sit on both

I run better with the Renegade with my Outlander 850 than that Scrambler, the 1000 gets me but not as bad as he's doing to that Scrambler. but mine tops out at 81mph tho

The Renegade is an awesome machine. It has a more sporty feel to it overall. It’s hard to compare the crazy S model scrambler to it. I think it would be sick if Can Am answered back to Polaris with their own 55inch wide model 👌
Never been a Polaris fan just not an attractive bike, and Can-Am to me are just more beastly👍🏼🤩🫡❤️
