Yes, that's Ken Russell.
I would have subtitled this "Metro-gnome".
This is what is appealing about film. Modern digital footage tries to look too "real." Whereas film can stoke the imagination again, make you feel like you're in a dream.
I say this to people constantly, glad to see your comment.
Really good. I remember the movie competition where a single super 8 cartridge was used to shoot a movie all with in camera edits. My favourite was a film called High Spirits, an animation, shot I an old style living room with animated paper flames etc. Lost sight of this man years ago and haven't seen it since. Love the old Super 8 and 16mm, well done and a good bit of acting too.
This is brilliant. Also I'm happy to see an actual film on 8mm and not just someone's vacation reel.
Brilliant - the final shots in particular. It’s remarkable how vibrant and sharp Super 8 can seem these days in closeup in good light.
love ur style, love the story, love the fact that its a silent film too . bro mad props. I like ur shots that you use. I like the zoom in shots. I like the music, it was perfect.
Oh, that KEN! Such a good conversationalist. Love it!!
This is a great short! And pretty amazing S8 footage, really sharp and good colors
Truly some of the best looking stuff I’ve seen shot on super eight in a very long time
Wooo !
One of the best super 8 film I ever seen.
Photographie, color, sound !
I can't be the only one who thinks that gnome looks like Trump.
Reminds me of the silent film era. Well done. Subbed.
This was awesome! I'm currently writing a short film to shoot on Super 8 sometime early next year. Seeing this just makes me want to get it done sooner!
this is the first short fil i watched all without skipping, great stuff bro.
Captivating. I loved it
Brilliant!!!!!!!!! Wow, this is really something. The rhythm the atmosphere the picture and sound, all so beautifully combined!
Funny and clever
This is simply... splendid!
Great short! Very well done with the super 8
What’s up with the ending? Did they just become friends? I enjoyed it overall. Great cinematography. I felt the tension
Nothing like seeing a gnome on the TTC. That's a regular occurrence.
Wow, this was amazing!
Very Good, nice editing too..
Great film
really nice!
nice!
This is awesome!
Superb 👏
This was very enjoyable to watch, congratulations. I know a lot of effort and planning went into it and it shows. I loved the many different angles of the camera and especially the rapid subway lights transition with the sound effect; this made it very pro! I was wondering how you created the credits at the end? There is definitely film grain there, was it just an overlay in your DAW or did you print the title cards and filmed them? Once again, very nice work.
Did u shoot this on auto or manually? So awesome!
Nicely done. 👍👍
omg i love this
That was awesome, looks like a fun short 👏
I thought it was a chicken at first. That would have been even funnier.
So much fun!!! Thanks for making this!
Really cool !!
Это очень круто! Титаническая работа, на мой взгляд
looks beautiful!
This is so damn good.
Did you shoot this on 18 or 24 fps? I'm planning on shooting my first 8mm film and I want to know how others did theirs
this is so fun
This was really cool! I love that you shot the end title card sequence practically instead of using digital titles - how did you do them so flawlessly with no light leaks?
The titles aren't practically done I think man
@@djoewewalta483 They were technically digitally generated - but then filmed off a 4k screen on super8 (200T).
@@djoewewalta483 No one asked you, nerd lol
@@anitric2000 Awesome work!
Very nice work! But how you make titles? With software o with optical printer?
18fps or 24fps?
Это очень круто.
Is he Ken Russall
What font did you use for last shot ken
