Thank you so much for this recipe. I made the mayo right after I saw this video. I used an immersion blender. Worked great. I have a cuisinart food processor which is probably 40 years old and never knew there was a hole in the plunger!😊
I’m a beginner and I made this twice. The first time I followed the recipe exactly and it was too strong on the Toasted sesame oil for my preference. The second time I just made it with a few tablespoons of toasted sesame oil and both mayonnaise and ranch dressing are more delicious. Don’t get me wrong. I ate all of the previous recipe and it was good. But it was a little bit exotic tasting compared to this second time
Victoria, another awesome video!! Thank you. I have been watching you for years and hope to for many years to come.
You're so sweet! Thank you!

Plunger! That word completely escaped me during recording, haha :-) Yes, I just discovered it a few years ago!
Hi! Love your video! Can you share where did you get the kind of salt opening lid that you used in your mason jar?
I haven't ever made Ranch dressing and it's been years since I made mayonnaise. Thank you for the inspiration and sharing : )
Awesome! I hope you get to make both soon (if you like ranch). Jason brought in the first of the fresh tomatoes today, so it was perfect timing 🙂
@@AModernHomestead fresh tomatoes....yummmmmmm. enjoy : )

Thanks. Where did you get the pouring lids (salt, herbs, etc.) with the flip spout for your 1/2 pint jars?
I make them :-) They are currently out of stock, but I'm making more now!

Can you use a blender
Yes! You may need to scrape it down, depending on your blender (while the blender is off of course), but yes, totally can!
