Great to see you back making videos. I'm considering a visit to Fife in the near future myself so it was nice to see it 'in the flesh' before I fly in.
Hi Stuart just wanted to let you know I’ve started EASA ppl training in the United States and your videos have helped me a lot, you had always been an idol of mine on the pitch you can imagine my shock when I found your channel and realised your an aviator!! Keep up the great work
Hi Stuart I'm not a pilot but it's something I've always wanted to do. I enjoy watching your vlogs I'm not the biggest rugby fan but while sitting in a bar in Tenerife watching Scotland playing in the world cup with my friend who is a fan suddenly I spotted someone I recognised and stood up turned to my friend and said look that's Stuart the pilot and proceeded to show him you tube footage was at Islay last week beutifull island if I ever take lessons I would definitely fly there hope to see you flying shortly
Just seen your advert on BBC - how on earth did you manage to not blink for that long! I half expected you to grab a bag and jump into the cockpit at the end of it :D
Great video Stuart I recently got my lapl and fly from cumbernauld and fly locally around Stirling ,I live in Cupar so its a bit of a travel, this has given me the incentive to fly further afield Cheers Dave
great video man. say if you get a ppl (h) LICENSE IN THE UK, does the license work worldwide? like i can hire a helicopter in france, dubai, usa , will it work?
Will you go for your full licence? I'm 29 now and looking at career change. I understand the commitments and have saved what's best route while still in full time employment?
Hey Stuart, having watched a million videos on here of videos like this, figured I would try Dundee landing being from Dundee/Carnoustie, its pretty cool to see videos of familiar places (other than LA) from the cockpit. I really want to go for my PPL and I know its like 6 -8k? Is that available on finance and once I have my PPL, how much am I looking at to rent a plane like cessna from Dundee? Did want to fly commercially but gone off the idea now, is private flying something im going to need really deep pockets for and a waste of money if im not loaded or planning on doing it for a living?
Hope you fly better than you golf! Haha I'm just joking as saw you got a little stuck in the bunker. Been there many times myself lol. Excellent video thanks so much for sharing. I must get back into training for my ppl, I stalled after 9 hours, and not the aircraft stall lol. Money got tight. It's not cheap but worth every second to be at the controls.
Stuart, Great videos ! I am from Fife currently just started training for my ppl (h) I have 3 hours so far and starting to revise for my air law exam, I have a go pro hero 4 and have bought the aviation cable, Could you maybe do a video showing how to hook everything up so I can possibly record one of my next lessons. Thanks and keep up the great content, thanks Jordan - instagram - jordanclarkdj
Welcome back! Had that weird moment during the World Cup coverage, "Why is Stuart The Pilot on TV? Oh..!"
You mean he's also some kind of sports personality? :D
Looking into getting a PPL. And you’re the first channel of many im sure to come across. You’re officially my starting point haha.
That’s great news, I hope you have a great time with your training.

Awesome, great to hear. Safe flying
Great example of the opportunities the PPL can provide. Hopefully we'll all be able to get back to doing these sort of things again soon!
Went to Islay two weeks ago in 172, splendid place.
It's a brilliant airfield, thanks for watching the video
Next time a sunny less windy place. Nice trip
He’s back 👍👍

Hopefully in a few years ill go for my full commercial licence
Bet advice is head to your local flying club and book a flight! talk to them about the best route they can help you with. Hope this helps
Thanks Stuart. Booked if for flight next week hoping to get the PPL done within a year or 2. Then its banking hours.
Keep the videos coming if you continue great easy to watch series.👍

I am 46,I want a PPL,is that worth it ? Also what use this PPL have beside as a souvenir ?
How much does it cost to use the plane from the club once you have your license
I pay around £160 per hour to hire. This is based on engine running time and includes fuel
All the instruments look overwhelming im suprised i want to be a pilot
I felt the same at first so don’t worry. You’ll learn what they all do very quickly
@@StuartThePilot still want to be one im going to do my first lesson at Perth next month
Just did it today it was great
Awesome :)
How com you done make videos anymore???? :(
Family commitments unfortunately just don’t have the time. I hope to get it up and running again some day
