I don’t care if it doesn’t have dynamics, for dynamic’s probably I have other things.

This plug-in it is amazing.
You have the best review of the product, as far as I an tell. One other very good review conducts it almost entirely on a single acoustic piano performance, which is limiting. It is good the way you explain all the features. This isn't just another EQ, but it's actually a suite of EQ products in one plugin, all linked together in a logical way, and, like you said, just go ahead and put on instance on each channel, as well as the Master Buss. It's that useful.

It's great, man! The visual aids - the spectral analyzers for resonances, stereo imaging, and EQ masking are really useful!
Love it...i work with the plug about a month only couple of things that it needs 1)Dynamic Process (but i dont really care) 2)UNDO button(very important) and 3) to have the option to turn off the analyser if i want
I just bought it, I hope they add dynamic EQ soon as it would definitely be among the best!
That and auto EQ would make it pretty special.
@@EdThorne Yes agreed… static, dynamic and frequency surfing would definitely make this the best!
buying the plugin hoping "they add" something down the road is not always a good idea. They can add some feature but you will pay for the upgrade - pretty sure about it...Sonnox never misses a chance to get extra penny from a customer

Considering how much it costs it's a very good EQ plugin a good partner with fabfilter you'll have it covered .

How is it on the CPU? Is it easy on the go especially on the mix part. I have neutron, I really love it but when I use MASK feature CPU go nuts :)
It’s definitely the heaviest loading part of the plugin. I had up to 7 instances of the plugin working on my M1 and it was fine when working in Logic. My computer only had buffering issues a couple of times making this video when I was Screencasting (recording the video/audio) plus I had FinalCut ProX running in the background…

Interesting, might get this. However, both Nectar and Smart:EQ 3 have similar cross plugin capabilities, but I will dig a little deeper to see how game changing it really is. I like Sonnox.

@@EdThorne I don't really like Nectar myself. I am probably getting this because the workflow seems really nice, and who doesn't need another EQ? Thanks for sharing.
@@EdThorne Hey, I got it, and I already have Pro Q3, Equilibrium, Smart:EQ 3 and Nectar, etc. Because of the workflow benefits, I think this is going to be my go-to. Thanks for sharing. The first page makes me do "wilder" changes than I am likely to do in the other plugins.
awesome vid Ed, I appreciate it. IMHO it's just too much, too many options and too many "smart" EQ's on the market. It gets overwhelming and gets in the way of making the composition as good as possible so as to barely need any EQ (if that makes sense?) Thanks again! Love your content brother!
Thanks. I use it in every mix but for some side EQ shelf boosting and the frequency masking displays, they’re really useful.
Q3 does talk to other instances but only two at a time 😥
So I’ve been told. Two has a use but unlimited (give or take CPU) is pretty awesome! No doubt FF will catch up with ProQ4

It's nice to see Sonnox coping the original from Sonible. Sonible is a better EQ in my opinion and also has dynamic Eq.
I have a copy of the Smart:EQ3 somewhere. Never opened it. I shall investigate.
@@EdThorne A very good review by the way Ed but good to see that you will investigate what Sonible did many months ago. You will also know that it is an intelligent eq. It blew me away. Try it.
@@robbiemichaels2347 Thanks for your input, you made my choice easier. I have both Entropy and Smart EQ3 and was trying to decide between SplitEQ and this Claro, both on sale for $99. I'm going with the SplitEq now. Thanks again.
@@bg4productions It's nice to know that my interaction with you has allowed you to make a choice and a wise decision if I may. I was going to post a reply to you about whether you would consider a review of Smart EQ 3 as a comparison to Claro. The new game changing Split EQ looks incredible but I've not had time to look at it.
Meh. I like Sonnox but making such a plugin without dynamic EQ is no for me
It’s a shame this version doesn’t have it but I recon it will be implemented in a future update.
