Bennison Lookout and campgrounds near Licola.

Bennison Lookout in the Vic High Country offers some spectacular views. We take the easy road in to soak up the scenery before checking out the campgrounds on Tamboritha road north of Licola. There are 14 campgrounds in all and we visit six of them so you can check them out and see if they're right for you. These include Platypus campground, Breakfast Creek, Cockatoo, Manna Gum, Pardalote, and Currawong campgrounds. All these camps have easy access to Wellington River before it flows into the Macalister River. So get the camp fire going, take a dip in the river, and just chill out beneath the gum trees. If you're lucky, the drop bears will leave you be.
