    LYRICS
Grab ahold of me, I've got my arms up.
Pull me out from this darkness.
It's so hard for me to see so light up the end of that tunnel.
If it's a war you came to see you will never see a waved white flag in front me.
I cant end up dead, I wont be misled.
I'll keep singing this song inside my head.
A phoenix rise? Or your demise?
Do I have to put your name on this grave? Or give you one more shot?
This addiction came like a freight train.
You're coming off of the rails again.
It's hard for you to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
If it's a war you came to see you will never see a waved white flag in front me.
I can't end up dead, I wont be misled.
I'll keep singing this song inside my head.
On a one way course set for destruction, full speed ahead.
The time has come for you to start things over.
So hold on, full speed ahead.
All my life I've been waiting for something,
That never came. It never came.
    But I'm still saying...
All my life I've been searching for something,
To break these chains. To break these chains.
    But I'll keep swinging...

    **WOLF PART OF VIDEO EXPLAINED!**
Up in the arctic circle there is tribe of Eskimo's who have learned to set
a very simple yet effective trap for wolves. First they sharpen a knife
razor sharp. Then they dip it in the blood of a seal they have killed.
(you see seals are fairly easy to trap but wolves are very dangerous).
After dipping the knife in blood they set it outside in the cold so the
blood freezes on the knife. After if freezes (a matter of minutes) they
dip it again into the seal blood and again take it out an let the blood
freeze. Layer after layer they make a blood popsicle. When they are done,
the knife's blade is hidden inside just like a popsicle stick. Now they
take the knife out into the wilderness where they think a wolf might be.
There the bury the handle of the knife in the snow leaving the blood
popsicle standing up and they leave.
Now after a while a wolf will come along guided by his sense of smell and
find the "bloodsicle". He will being licking it, enjoying every taste.
Over and over he licks the knife and soon his tongue is so cold he cannot
feel it any longer. It's numb. But his taste for blood is growing and he
is not getting as much as he wants - you see, popsicles are slow eating.
Finally his licking exposes the razor sharp edge of the knife. It cuts
into his tongue again and again but he does not even notice for his tongue
can no longer feel anything. The wolfs own blood now flows from his cut
tongue. The wolf is thrilled, blood is now more plentiful and he continues
    to lick more and more.
Soon he notices something is wrong, he is getting weaker not stronger.
Since he knows blood as food he increases his efforts to feed on the ever
increasing flow of blood. His last thoughts are of how good the now warm
blood tastes. Within minutes he licks his last and collapse next to the
now fully exposed knife. Here the Eskimo knows he will find the wolfs
    body the next morning.
(The wolf gets caught up in its own hunger and lust before it realizes that it is killing itself)

Addictions come in many forms.. most scrutinize alcohol.. drugs.
Both used as weapons by split up sides.
One addiction that is obvious number 1 in my books.. is partner addiction.
Don't stay with someone if they are destroying you. Your life is precious.
You are only digging deeper in debt by cozying with "your" opinion and idea of you Being the "Big Heart". ...
Hearts on a Sleeve... only leaves you with one thing by the end usually..
Dammit.. you need another T shirt.
      Stay strong. Good luck. Choose.
      Love.

Sick intro. Straight forward lyrics. The structure is really easy to digest. A lot of happens in the first 1:15.

Since the release of Aftermath I've been revisiting all my favorite tracks from TGI, which is basically their whole discography. Even their EP from their, A Dying Dream days. And in their last 2 albums it's almost as if they invoked this tragic tragedy. This song alone in particular, "Full speed ahead, it's time to start things ove" and tracks like Phoenix, and Mercy,"life is swing hard, but I'm swinging harder" It's as almost as if life was literally like, "Ok, put your money where your mouth is."

Found this song over two years ago and to this day it still gives me goosebumps when i listen to it. Like i know this genre is always bashed for being relatable and manipulative but something about this song strikes such a strong emotion that cant be described. I hope these guys fully recover soon and get back to making some legendary music.

In case you don't fully get the knife thing and why they chose that specifically as the imagery for the video, it's something eskimos used to do to catch wolves. Dip a knife in seal's blood, freeze it, dip it again... til they have a bloody popsicle with a knife inside of it. The wolf would find it, enjoy it's bloody popsicle, until the ice of it makes their tongue go fully numb. Their bloodlust has already set in though. They keep going at it faster and faster because they're getting rewarded with more and more blood, not even realizing it's their own.

I've been waiting ages for something like this. Riffs that can drop a powerful emotion in heartbeats. Lyrics with strong senses. Voices that could wake up deads. Really, it has been so long.
I feel may be the day you'll earn a top place in my heart, For me, at the same level as All that Remains and Bring me the Horizon, and I fuckin' love them.
My most honest congratulations. I really enjoy your music.

man, this song never gets old and inspires me every single time i hear it. struggled with addiction to IV heroin, crack and basically any other drug i could get my hands on for years, and been clean since Sept 2016, don’t even smoke weed anymore (used to be another every day thing for me), most i ever do now is have 1 (occasionally 2) drinks socially when out with friends or having dinner with family, but then, i was never a big fan of drinking or getting drunk anyway. this song means so much to me

yea most music not in the pop lexicon is quite lyrical or it doesn't go anywhere. You need to grind extra hard and be extra expressive or you get ignored. People aren't just dancing to this music they are emotionally connected to it. It's quite beautiful
