I remember building this kit (many years ago) when they molded the plastic in the box art color, which was Limelight green. One thing I find interesting is some of the additional parts they include now. The non 3-in-1 kit only came with the magnum 500 wheels back then, where this kit includes the police steel rims (six slot) with dog dish caps. Why they molded them in chrome, I have no idea as the real rims would have been the dodge standard steel rims (4 slot) in black or body color. Plus the six slot police rims weren't made available to the public till the mid 70's on the Aspen and Volare specials (Super Coupe and Petty replica).

Nice paint work! Also enjoyed the music!! Sounds like what we were listening to late sixties/early seventies while cruising around. Keep up the great work and videos.

No, not rims. The rims are just the edges of the wheels, where the bead of the tires mount to the wheels. Think of bicycle tires, they are mounted on wheels that have a hub, spokes and rim, as you move outward to the tire. I don't understand why modern modelers have started this "rim" error. They are wheels. When someone has a flat tire, they do run on the edges of the wheel, the rim. But the whole assembly is not a rim. You grabbed the tires out of the kit, and initially misidentified them, calling them wheels!!! These terms are not interchangeable. It's going to take some effort to break your habits. 😉 I did enjoy the painting sequence very much. The background music was also excellent.
