They were $78 boots, but yes I'm still kinda raw over it. I still keep getting comments on it. I may one day get over it, but not today. And the funny thing is, I will be going back this next weekend when I'm there visiting. I'm not as upset at the shoe shinner as I am about the comments on the video from viewers.
From what I gather, old man withers told you at the beginning what he was going to do since they were new. You agreed. Then you questioned him about HIS methods. That's the way he does it with new boots. Since you get shined often, you should tell them at the beginning if you want something specific and I'm sure most won't have any issue. That's probably why you were getting so many negative comments. I enjoyed that video and this video. I know my opinion means nothing but its the internet so I can type it anyway. I believe you just went about it the wrong way. If you think you're correct, that's cool too. That's just my opinion on why you were getting some hate. Plus, its the Internet. Sadly, some kids have to kill some time before their wives or parents go to bed till they can browse Porn, so they come to kill some time on YT. :)
My ASMR is not triggered by whispers and weird sounds. Just because you don't think it's ASMR, does not mean it's not. You may not be triggered by it, but I am and so are most of my 1000 subscribers. Just saying.

You commented about the Bellagio shoe shine sucked. The shoe shine was fine and you were told about what he was going to do, the service was only $7 for a 30 minute shine, you had a dull cheap pair of shoes before he shined them, you should've told him you wanted a color wax after the saddle soap and insisted. If you noticed the gentleman shining your Dockers had a beautiful shine on his shoes and was dressed like a professional. It seems like this guy shining the shoes is a nice guy, but doesn't care about his appearance. He should remove the laces and keep a professional appearance if he decides to continue in that line of work.

He is hands down the best on UA-cam and I watch a lot of shine videos.
I agree that Adrian does a fantastic job and has great brush skills. I wish Martin the Maketh would use brushes.
