Im here now, since July 1st and thru to the15th, I have had so much oppressive heat, but I’m having a good time regardless. Food, cosmetics, cigarettes, and beer are very cheap!!! You will have no trouble finding great things to do at very low price. Can’t wait to see you today Toshi!

Good information as always! Perhaps one day I would go to Japan on a summer again despite the hot experience ha ha! Asakusa was a pleasant experience during the summer nights to walk around.

I just traveled to Japan last June after 5 years. I went to Japan several times before. I love Japan for its culture & beautiful scenery through all seasons. I just notice that Japan is now more affordable compare decades ago, but now it’s crowded everywhere, over tourism is real.

Hi Toshi! I love your videos, they are always very informative. I appreciate that you update us week by week.
I plan to travel in February, but I have doubts regarding what was mentioned about the increase in the costs of accommodation, meals or events for foreigners.
    Greetings from Argentina!

Thank you for watching as usual.
Due to the over-tourism, the costs of accommodation is increasing. There is no difference in price between Japanese and foreigners. Fortunately, for foreigners, it's note expensive compared to Japanese because of the yen's depreciation.
I hope you have a wonderful time in Japan.

February should still be less expensive than other times in the year.

I've been in Japan for five weeks now. After booking the trip, I found out that June is not seen as a good month to visit. But I have been having an amazing time. Best way to beat the crowds: be there when it opens

I'm in Japan at the moment and started my travel from tokyo to Sapporo as I've already done the the yellow triangle 3 years ago. Sapporo was really nioce and the further I go down Japan it's getting warmer. Yes it's hot I've got my umbrella from Don Quixote and have arm cover for my arm so my arms don't get burnt and a hat. It's amazing how many tourists wear shorts, t shirt no hat and you can see were they have been burnt from the sun. I'm travelling to places tourists don't go to which is fantastic , nothing worth then to hear an American talking so loud (sorry americans) . The weather shows showers the further I travel Japan I don't care, my shoes are waterproof and I have an umbrella. I'm just happy that the places I'm visiting no tourists , but just Japanese tourists enjoying themselves.

I noticed the flight cost too. This also raises a good point about learning the culture. Its a very long way to fly and not know or respect the culture. Japan is very driven by its culture and people diminish their trip and are hard on the Japanese if they don't research the culture and respect it. Understanding the culture adds about 75% of the experience of being in Japan.
