StevenBridges I have a theory on the Rubik's cube one. all the cards were the same cube, but oriented differently. that way, you only had to memorize one pattern. also it was probably an easy to solve pattern that looks scrambled. the rest was a bunch of card tricks that are out of my range of knowledge.
Well solving to a pattern isn't too hard with practice, but the thing with the making the cards show solved confuses me, I'm going to guess he's just really good at one handed solving which is how he solved the cube and he just undid the scramble instead of actually solving it
if you pause the video @13:34 you see a card that goes from left to right blue white white which is not the card that is pick but the end solve has this same pattern @ 15:22
I think what they are saying is that you take a solved cube and shuffle it one way. Let's say R2 U L U2 D F (not the shuffle he used) then you put the cube with the white side front left and blue side up. Take a picture. Then move the cube so the red side is front left and the orange side is up. Take another picture. You will now have 2 pictures that look completely different but are "solved" the same way. Thus you could repeat with the cube in many different "poses", manufacture cards of it and to pull off the trick you just always do the same shuffle and orient it based on the given pose. Of course, this only explains the initial trick and this is just my thoughts mixed with theories in this thread. How it's officially done, we'll never know!

I must say that I loved the Rubik's cube trick. At first, I understood where it was going and I was like "meh, it'll be cool but meh". But then you just keep rising the stakes and take it to a killer ending. INSANE! Thank you for sharing! I like the 1st trick because it's so personal, I'll probably figure out a version for myself!

I think a nice touch would be to have a few different styles of decks in there rather than all just red. Although yeah, you've already gone through the trouble of the 52 red ones.
