All true, but for me it's even simpler than that. If you knew someone was coming for you with a weapon that could take you apart molecule by molecule and had no counter for it would you just sit and wait for them to do it? It makes very little sense on any level.

I hadn't actually thought about it from the perspective of the Titan being in horrible pain. That's just plain discomforting
