Anyone who plays guitar would know how bloody hard it is to sing this song while doing all those crazy rhythm/ lead shit on guitar simultaneously. Even Hendrix himself don't do this song on live performances (I tried to look up on the internet for quite a long time and yet I still couldn't find it.). The fact that this madlad nailed this song beautifully, and even played on an acoustic guitar, this shows how experienced this guy is. Godspeed to you and looking forward to other covers!
@No One I think one of the biggest challenge is that inverted solo in the original. You can’t possibly done it live. But I’m sure Hendrix would improvise it and makes it 100 times more amazing than what he did in the original. Because that’s what he always do, you will never hear the same live version of “Little Wing” that he plays, and that’s the biggest thing I love about him. Too bad he gone way too soon.
He didn't play in concert because there are parts on the album that were recorded backwards. He did play little before though I had seen somewhere. This dude here kills it. Just came here from cemetery gates he has a new sub now. Was questioning the whole John Mayer but it get it he's OK wonder how he handles monotone style singing lol
I worked on this song about 30 minutes to an hour a day for over a year. I gave up. We were playing 3 and 4 hour sets. I had to practice other songs for our gigs. I applaud you sir. A job well done.
my eyes were glued to your hands on the screen, I was in awwwww. Has to be one of the best versions of this song, I have ever heard. RAW with just an acoustic, makes it more incredible..... GREAT JOB, my hats off to you sir. ......
My eyes went wide open throughout the whole video. Such a voice, fantastic playing and beautiful embellishments! Man you nailed it. Havent found a better cover of this song till now. And its so fucking hard to play that rhythm section while singing, cant believe you did that with such ease. I'm gonna learn from this video now.
Tuck and Pattie nailed this song, but the difference is you nailed it without Pattie singing it. You played and sang it, with a pleasant voice. Masterfully done and a wonderful gift to Hendrix enthusiasts. Thank you!
I absolutely LOVE all of Hendrix’s ballad type of songs. Wind Cries Mary, Bold as Love, Little Wing, and this one. Great cover, sounds great on acoustic and the singing is awesome man. keep it up
A version that shows the brilliance of the original while simultaneously adding its own charms. Fabulous. If we lived in a world that valued real talent instead of useless auto-tuned wannabees this guy would be a superstar.
Absolutely incredible song. I'm amazed at how lightly your fingers fly across the notes especially playing this on acoustic and nailing every single note and keeping perfect time. Add to that your emotion and beautiful singing and you've made a cover that matches the magesty of one of Hendrix's best of all time songs.
@@rogermichou8654 Hi Roger, as I can say, it was my biggest influence in music. I don't remember details like distance to the stage very much but I remember, that I could see his face and watch him playing his white Strat. It was overwhelming! But we were lucky those days anyway because we had them all. All the Best, Peter
You're incredible man! Just bought your tab and I think that's 2 dollar for a tab like this one is a ridiculous price; keep it up man, you're a true talent!
You're unbelievable, man. It's insane what you did here and on your other Hendrix's covers. Hats off for playing this so beautifully and singing so well at the same time!!!! Cheers from Brazil!!!!
Once again UA-cam not recommending videos like this and instead I have to find this gem myself. Been playing since I was 14 and I don't know why I even try after seeing this lol. Impressive for sure!
Bravo! Impressive! New subscriber! It is great to see youngsters keeping the music of Hendrix alive. I have heard this song countless number of times and you nailed it. Doing it acoustically just illustrates how intricate the chording is on this song (and most of Hendrix's classics). Great job!
does anyone want to sing with him ? here you go 🙌 Castle Made Of Sand - Jimi Hendrix & The Experience down the street you can hear her scream "you're a disgrace" As she slams the door in his drunken face, And now he stands outside And all the neighbors start to gossip and drool He cries "Oh girl, you must be mad, What happened to the sweet love you and me had?" Against the door he leans and starts a scene, And his tears fall and burn the garden green And so castles made of sand, Fall in the sea, eventually A little Indian brave who before he was ten, Played war games in the woods with his Indian friends, And he built a dream that when he grew up, He would be a fearless warrior Indian Chief Many moons passed and more the dream grew stronger, Until tomorrow, he would sing his first war song, And fight his first battle, but something went wrong, Surprise attack killed him in his sleep that night And so castles made of sand, Melts into the sea, eventually There was a young girl, whose heart was a frown, 'Cause she was crippled for life, and she couldn't speak a sound And she wished and prayed she could stop living, So she decided to die She drew her wheel chair to the edge of the shore, and to her legs she smiled "You won't hurt me no more" But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say "Look, a golden winged ship is passing my way" And it really didn't have to stop, it just kept on going And so castles made of sand Slips into the sea, eventually.

I'm guessing you've seen his acoustic 'voodoo child' - another wow moment!
