    Thanks for the video. I used your method to create the nosings for my stairs that I am currently installing. My stairs have a landing in the middle. I know I have to glue down the nosing, but would you typically float the rest of the flooring in the landing, glue the nosing and the last plank (next to the wall) or glue all the planks on the landing down?

      I would just glue down the nosing and float the rest . the click holds it together . thanks for watching

    Hello. Do you have a video on how to finnish open ended stairs? Mitre corners at cover around the back of open ends ?

    During install, you had the nose and another plank glued together, did you use CA glue to attach these planks to each other or some other adhesive?

      No I don't glue them together , just click them together .I use PL premium to them glue down .

    Can you cut a return in the tread if you have an open tread?

      @westwoodliving290  11 місяців тому

      yes you can. use some masking tape to hold it together as the glue dries.

    How would you wrap vinyl around all 4 sides of an open tread as seen on mono stringer stairs?

    How have these held up over time?

      They've held up great . I haven't had any one call me back about a complaint, I'm
      working on new video on how to make them better and faster.

      it really doesn't matter, any work . I've got some from my local hardware store and from amazon. they all work just the same.

    Heat is your friend., it is vinyl....heat it up and bend, no cracks or anything.

      Agreed. I like his crisp edge, but I'm worried about the durability of his corner after removing so much material. I think a shallower groove followed by some heat would have been a nice compromise.

    A steady cam would help the shaking be less distracting

    Isn't vinyl and laminate to slippery for stairs that's what I always thought?

    Nothing on the type of vinyl, how thick, or the backing. And ditch the music. Too distracting. I would give giant F on your attempt to provide an informative video. Also, I would fire your camera person…
