I don't know if I have seen any other versus video scale a character's external amplifications before alongside their base stats before. Is there a precedence now for other characters to be examined with such boosts? Ie: Jerec in the Valley of the Jedi, Dessan's Yavin 4 amp, etc"

For number three, you need three things. 1. An unbiased and unopinoinated view on the characters in questions 2. An almost intimate knowledge of the characters' gear, mindset, tactics and possible advantages. 3. Someone to share and discuss your thoughts with.
Dooku reminds me of an older version of his late apprentice. Definitely over hill, but not completely outclassed of those of similar calibre. He may be in his 80s, but he is towering at 6'5. His capabilities physically would be outstanding if the clone wars occurred three to four decades prior.

Despite their aptitude with force augmentation, Yoda and Dooku had limited endurance due to their physical capabilities without force augmentation. When Qui-Gon fought Maul during episode 1, he was able to physically overpower Maul on occasions despite being not being indicated to have a higher level of force augmentation and being outmatched on most aspects of a physicality due to him being bigger and stronger. With duelists of the level in this matchup, it might matter to a far lesser degree but to say it has absolutely no impacts and that physical capabilities are practically solely reliant on force ability is just not true.
Honestly without the Star-Forge I don't think Malak has anything that puts him in the realm of discussion of jedi or sith Dooku. With the Star-Forge he at least has a statement that says he is stronger than Exar-Kun and conquering the Star-Forge was something the Ajunta Pall-era sith thought impossible, plus his last moments indicate that he was conflicted when fighting Revan.Still he lost against a far pre-prime, tired Revan, while on the Star Forge and with jedi to sap power off.
Dooku has his physical shortcomings but they are not easily exploited. Only the strongest have a chance at noticing and being given the attempt to take advantage. But even then it's not a guaranteed.
It'll be nice to see people giving both these characters a fair look in. Malak often gets overlooked because he's usually only perceived in Revan's shadow and not as the powerful force user he is. And Dooku often gets overlooked for both his dueling prowess and natural gifts in the force, mainly due to his own two masters. Yoda and Sidious overshadowing him in the same way Revan overshadows Malek. Its kind of cool that these two are getting some respect. Personally I think Dooku wins, but only just barely; a very, VERY high difficulty win.

Great video. I really love the way this video gives Count Dooku the respect he deserves and this is just the physical section of the video. My best guess is that Darth Malak will win this fight 5.5/10 times but only because of his powerful abilities in the force such as force stun and force whirlwind causing the Count to stumble. Count Dooku definitely surpasses Darth Malak in dueling as he was stated to be equal with Mace and went toe to toe with Grandmaster Yoda. Overall, I am excited for this versus video. For Q&A, 1. I’ve seen people who think he would struggle with Qui Gon Jinn💀 which is crazy when you take into account that Malak in the end of Kotor was stated to be stronger than Exar Kun, Freddon Nadd, Marka Ragnos and many other. And Being stronger than Exar Kun puts him above all Sith Before him because Exar has been stated to be the strongest sith in history at the point of the great Sith War. And Malak at multiple points in Kotor has been stated to be stronger than his old Master Darth Revan so Malak would actually be stronger than Sith Revan. Prime Revan in EOO ofc Defeats Malak but Still. Malak is underrated and should get more respect. As for Dooku. Dooku is great as always, such a cool fighter.
Sorry I agree with the general principle of the point but I don’t think Malak is stronger than Exar Kun. I can’t really gage ghosts but I imagine freeden nad and Marka Ragnos being stronger. Always wanted to ask you this question: Will you add into Versus series roster other playable characters from Star Wars The Old Republic like Emperor’s Wrath, Barsenthor and Darth Nox?
I don't have any immediate plans for those three characters, but all three are potentially doable with some tweaking. I used to think otherwise, but I think with the proper evaluation and specification it could be done.
Ive though about this a few times over years and the best way that i can think of is to "composite" scailing based off the belief that all the actions that are possible for each character (SW, JC ect) are within the cabailites of them even if they didnt take that path "canonically" ie the JC if a fully LS path is taken within act 1 has insane endurance or power (from memory they get weaker the more jedi that they shield, so defeating the boss implies quite a bit of power) feats while if the DS paths are taken and you kill the jedi who could have shielded your also responsible for hundreds of dead jedi by the end (as a result) and dont get that feat of endurance. So the JC who took the DS route should be considered also capable for the purposes of scailing to replicate that, but it was not in their character to do so. In terms of the "canon" path it be quite tricky as the wooks assumptiom that rep = all LS and imp = all DS is proveably false, the quick character creation token for the 1st EE expansion has the Sith Inq, considered as "Nox" by the wook being refered to as Imperius, so by biocanon the Inq was more lightside leaning. Though this does taper off towards post end game content when the 8 classes really get turned into 2 and then again its turned into 1 story with the EE expansions onward. (Doing a hyopthetical which composite PC would be the strongest/ranking them in a list as the outlander video could work.) A further curveball is the advanced classes and how you would throw in their abilities and background lore but again i think the composite approach would be the least of a headache (well prior to that recent change where every class can switch up combat styles which ill ignore for the purpose).

Sounds like a great video from this but if Malak has the star forge it’s completely unfair for Dooku. Yes I love my boy Dooku but Malak with the star forge is confirmed stronger than the strongest of ancient sith like Exar Kun or Freddon nadd. And there’s even evidence that puts him above a pre prime incarnation of Vitiate which I don’t believe Dooku is in the same tier as. Exar in JAT is confirmed as on par with DE Sidious so it’s a large gap from Dooku

I'm glad you are ignoring the 2008 Clone Wars, it never sat well with me, the EU version of Dooku is much more gray than his 2008 counterpart. After reading Dark Rendesvous I always questioned how the writers got Dooku so wrong?

You could still have it be true from a certain point of view. Malak probably had a lot more naval power and controlled more territory than Kun, and I'd say that they were on the same level when it came to saber skills. Kun definitely has more power in the force, and had access to more arcane abilities, but that doesn't mean that he would win in a fight either.

I beg to differ. Darth Tyrannus is one of the most powerful Sith Lords ever, whereas Malak was strong, sure, but rather mediocre when putting all sith lords together.

I mean I will say I know jensari1 hate of TCW but they did Dooku generally Well for all his fights, and gave him decent ones against Ventress +nightsister fights, Savage, and the Anakin/Kenobi fights. Plot wise could be super duper dumb but still in terms of fight they did the Count at least Well. ( gave the best iteration of any that tail end wise physically, what the fight was supposed to look like on that Pyke planet compared to Revenge of the Sith movie.) So.... physically it might be good to use them for visuals?
I feel like in Obi-wan vs. Corran Horn, Corran would win. Corran is a better duelist with more going for him. Obi-wan doesn’t us TK enough to cause enough problems to Corran. Still I think they are in the same league.
In Legends only people that should be able to best Dooku are Sidious, Yoda, The Skywalkers, Mereks, And Abeloth one on one on fair ground while Mace would hold his own he should eventually lose to Dooku. In Canon one on one on even footing only Yoda, Sidious, The Skywalkers, The Ones, Abeloth, And Plo Koon should be able to best Dooku yeah.

Great video. I really love the way this video gives Count Dooku the respect he deserves and this is just the physical section of the video. My best guess is that Darth Malak will win this fight 5.5/10 times but only because of his powerful abilities in the force such as force stun and force whirlwind causing the Count to stumble. Count Dooku definitely surpasses Darth Malak in dueling as he was stated to be equal with Mace and went toe to toe with Grandmaster Yoda. Overall, I am excited for this versus video.

which is crazy when you take into account that Malak in the end of Kotor was stated to be stronger than Exar Kun, Freddon Nadd, Marka Ragnos and many other. And Being stronger than Exar Kun puts him above all Sith Before him because Exar has been stated to be the strongest sith in history at the point of the great Sith War. And Malak at multiple points in Kotor has been stated to be stronger than his old Master Darth Revan so Malak would actually be stronger than Sith Revan. Prime Revan in EOO ofc Defeats Malak but Still.
Malak is underrated and should get more respect. As for Dooku. Dooku is great as always, such a cool fighter.

I don't have any immediate plans for those three characters, but all three are potentially doable with some tweaking. I used to think otherwise, but I think with the proper evaluation and specification it could be done.
Ive though about this a few times over years and the best way that i can think of is to "composite" scailing based off the belief that all the actions that are possible for each character (SW, JC ect) are within the cabailites of them even if they didnt take that path "canonically" ie the JC if a fully LS path is taken within act 1 has insane endurance or power (from memory they get weaker the more jedi that they shield, so defeating the boss implies quite a bit of power) feats while if the DS paths are taken and you kill the jedi who could have shielded your also responsible for hundreds of dead jedi by the end (as a result) and dont get that feat of endurance.
So the JC who took the DS route should be considered also capable for the purposes of scailing to replicate that, but it was not in their character to do so. In terms of the "canon" path it be quite tricky as the wooks assumptiom that rep = all LS and imp = all DS is proveably false, the quick character creation token for the 1st EE expansion has the Sith Inq, considered as "Nox" by the wook being refered to as Imperius, so by biocanon the Inq was more lightside leaning.
Though this does taper off towards post end game content when the 8 classes really get turned into 2 and then again its turned into 1 story with the EE expansions onward. (Doing a hyopthetical which composite PC would be the strongest/ranking them in a list as the outlander video could work.)
A further curveball is the advanced classes and how you would throw in their abilities and background lore but again i think the composite approach would be the least of a headache (well prior to that recent change where every class can switch up combat styles which ill ignore for the purpose).

Yes I love my boy Dooku but Malak with the star forge is confirmed stronger than the strongest of ancient sith like Exar Kun or Freddon nadd. And there’s even evidence that puts him above a pre prime incarnation of Vitiate which I don’t believe Dooku is in the same tier as. Exar in JAT is confirmed as on par with DE Sidious so it’s a large gap from Dooku

You could still have it be true from a certain point of view. Malak probably had a lot more naval power and controlled more territory than Kun, and I'd say that they were on the same level when it came to saber skills.
