  • This documentary presents facts and exclusive footage on the Mailoni Brothers, Zambia’s infamous trio of bandits (Serial Killers).
    --
During one horrific episode in Luano Valley, the Brothers; Mika, Fabiano and Stephano ran amok, terrorizsing their community and committing gruesome acts of banditry, violence, and cold-blooded murder.
Like many other controversial episodes of Zambia’s
history, the story of the Brothers has attracted many commentators. Some have speculated that the Brothers were fortune seekers who became caught in a web of criminality brought about by greed. Others attribute the brothers' actions to witchcraft and black magic.
The documentary recounts the tale of the brothers from a military
perspective. From accounts of locals and troops that were on the ground in Luano as part of the military operation that brought the episode to an end.
It reveals a community embattled by superstition and witchcraft, renegade brothers whose agenda was a curious mix of religion and crime, and the actions of brave troops from the Zambia Army that put their own lives at risk in service of their country.

This is a very informative and factually-logical documentary. A lot of people, especially Zambians, need to watch this so that they get rid of the many superstitions and /or myths they've grown to believe and hold regarding the Mailoni Brothers because of the plethora of mis/ill/un-informed and incoherent theories about them.
The fearless Zambian Army officials who were tasked to man-down the Mailoni Brothers, whilest dismising the famous hearsays regarding them, have clearly attested to the fact that the brothers were just very intelligent and geographically-aware of their territory so that implies that the tactics and movements the Brothers made, eluded and still eludes most of people's comprehension-scope and so that also further explains why there were a lot myths made up about the Brothers and a whole lot of them persisting to this day as it is human nature to make up myths and /or subscribe to them when either not understanding something or mis/ill/un-informed something respectively.
Big Ups To The Zed Historian and the accordance from the Zambian Army. Thank you for demystifying everything.
Done by Zambians. For Zambians. #Excellent Documentary

I remember those days vividly well and it was so horrifying to hear that they had killed someone. I really salute Zambia Army. Thank you so much for always maintaining peace and tranquility in our nation.

Imagine the good they could have done for the community with their intelligence they could have been constructors I guess it kind of shows what loneliness and seclusion from the society can do to children's mindset.
