Yeah being New Adventures I don't know much about those characters but can see why they put him out as one of the first he's really cool
I tried and failed to remove the helmet but you've encouraged me to try again. Even just to be able to turn his head without removing the whole armour. :P
Hell yeah! A lot of hot water, a spoon for prising off (with it's curve and not too sharp that it won't cut into the armour) and some time and yay I got the helmet clean off too. :D Thanks again for the remotivation! :D
Yeah was a real pain in the ass lol. Like e I said the popsicle stick seemed to help some and I was less worried about breaking the helmet. Wish ya all the luck on it I know it's not easy

From what I have seen all the domes are glued and they used some kind of different prototype for those promotional images. The purple ooz brain jar thing does not even fit into the armor like the pictures showed. It has to be different. No idea what they were thinking when they did this but is is super frustrating. I got 2 of them and both of them had broken pincher claw tentacles as well. Most dissapointing motu figure yet but i still really dig his look. I'm working on getting the dome removed right now. Super slow process. I found out vinegar or vegetable oil breaks down super glue so I'm trying vinegar and it's working. Super slow but it's working.

ah thanks man for all the feedback. yeah when i went to put that picture in the video i could see the purple brain part looked different. The broken pinchers for you on 2 of them that really sucks, shouldnt be like that the price we pay for these. Sounds like youre getting your dome off so hope that goes smooth for ya. Have you tried placing the ooze jar directly on the neck joint of the figure, just to see if you could potentially pull the armor over it?
You did as good a job as you could've done. That is exactly how it was supposed to work but for some reason, they glued the dome helmet part. Maybe the liquid head dome could be removable also if heated and it would fit the regular body better, matching the pictures. But that would be too much risk of breaking that smaller clear dome, not to mention it looks good enough for display just seating that liquid head on the body the way you did it. I don't have mine yet but I will try it while being super extra careful. Thanks for showing.

At 00:10:42 - is it possible to remove the chest armor, and then slide the slush-brain head from the bottom of the armor's collar up? Sorta like how a real person would slip on a shirt.
Then maybe it can reach the neck joint? I dunno.
Fail by mattel. Feels like someone from above checked the photoshot photos late and said, "wtf?? You have his severed head on a robot spider body?? Glue that up! Parents will freak". Sucks.
No I tried putting it up from under later on, it looks different from the original photos so I think they changed it all up before they put them out there
I wonder if you can keep water in his helmet like the classics one

Put the purple head on first then the armour on after so it goes over the top 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah I tried that too. Armor doesn't slide down over it. They must have just changed the design at the last minute which is a shame. Thanks for checking this out tho 🙏

He is one wacky dude! ha ha I never got into New Adventures of He-man! I had all the ones they made in Classics, and I sold them as I got them! ha ha I wanted no part of it. I hope you enjoy the Masterverse versions.
