Hey Raxx, you said its hard to pick between the last 2 points in poison creeper, not sure if you know or not but the added poison duration is just added damage. its a massive increase to poison creepers dmg and there's absolutely no reason to take the crit chance point over a double dmg increase.

This is fantastic. I was wanting to start with the druid anyway, so having this leveling guide, and the end game guide you released today is just...awesome.
I'm pretty confident that this build will be considerably better than Teo's pulverize leveling build on Maxroll. I don't know anything about Teo, but a lot of his builds don't seem very well optimized and there are some pretty obvious mistakes in some of them. One example is taking the druid spirit boon that gives you a chance to reduce your ult cooldown, but not taking an ult (in the tornado leveling build) and another is putting 3 points in the Resonance passive which gives you an 18% dmg bonus when you alternate between storm and earth skills, but not taking a single storm skill (in the pulverize endgame build).
I "think" it not written himself, Teo is one of the best speed runner on D2, but other than that, I would doubt his massive written guides for multiple build/char across d2,d4.
As a note: its probably more worthwhile to take the IAS node over the crit damage node on the spirit boons. While leveling you wont have a lot of crit, so the IAS should be more damage. It will also improve resource generation and increase the frequency of your shapeshifts. Lastly, be wary of going all in on damage to slowed or cc'd enemies because those modifiers do very little against enemies with a stagger bar, since those guys are only cc'd when fully staggered. Campaign will have a lot of bosses to tying a lot of your dps to CC is a gamble in the campaign

Hello Raxx, thanks again for the work you have done. Exciting build. I probably won't play the druid at the beginning but it sounds interesting. To a beer, if you ever come over.
Color me surprised when the most recommended build is the exact build I used, except I did swap out Earthen Bulwark for Grizzly Rage, and I took the crit bonus on Creeper to try to force crit overpowers on elites.
Tks Raxx was waiting for your Druid guide. Watching following you since June 2019 and never been disappointed. Keep up you are the best from my point of vue 💯👍
Shred is also gonna be really good cuz it's super easy to get poison from skills and passives on Druid, and the Blurred Beast aspect will be a very easy way to skyrocket your Shred damage with only using one slot. Shred will also come into play later on in endgame if you find Hunter's Zenith. You'll need to use Shred then to activate Trample resets and once we're able to spam Trample is when Trampleslide will really come online.
This build will be insane later because there is a legendary node in one of the paragon boards for druids that enables the following: " Constricting Tendrils: Lucky Hit: Nature Magic Skills have up to a 15% chance to entangle the enemy with vines, Immobilizing them for 2 seconds and Poisoning them for 120% of the Base damage dealt over 4 seconds." This also synergies with the poisoned enemies nodes as well very nice build Raxx!
keep in mind, if you take grizzly rage you can't use any non werebear skills during its duration, so with this build only trample and pulverize would be usable.
@@srenjensen2625 only a unique that turns earth skills into wearbear skills but that item will be an extremely rare drop that you likely won’t find until end game.
I've seen this in a few builds, they go heavily into grizzly rage(using talents, aspects and other things to extend it. But you're saying he wont be able to use what, the bulwark, generator, and creeper while rage is active? Seems kind of bad if you run out of spirit and cant get anymore, just waiting for a ability to go away to do anything else.
Having played this build up to lvl 20 (not that far); it’s the best option for me IMO and far better than Icy Vein’s companion suggestion. Thank you Raxx! Your theory crafting has paid off IMO and I haven’t got to the crux of the build w/ fortify buffs yet
YAY MY CLASS! I'm excited to watch poggers \o/!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALSO LOL "The reason I'm doing druid last isn't because they do 17 damage" LMAO XD
Cool build Raxx, I think it's going to feel great having that progression of unlocking powers as you play through the campaign, and I love being a super tanky boi. Can't wait!
I get what you're going for in the build. It's great. I am casual and I like to see a lot of different fun actions. I would keep poison creeper and have Grizzly rage. I would go for envenom and companion passives quicker. I mean that is 30 crit damage and I think chance on poisoned and companion. So that poison creeper = every 20 seconds a massive dump of damage. Using the 30% crit damage spirit boon, and now you have 60% crit damage on that skill at all times. And every 3rd poison creeper you unload a 20 second Grizzly rage doing up to 110% bonus damage if you can keep it going for 20 seconds. The lightning strike with huge 50% vulnerable chance and 25% damage reduction and the pulverize and the grizzly and other skills adding fortify. I don't even know if I'd need bulwark. Blood how is basically a potion giving you 20% heal and spirit at a whim since you will kill so much the up time will be so often. Then add aspects etc and I think it could be fun and easy casual build. I am not one to seek out and rush through the game and have a B-line towards aspects etc for a specific build. I take it as it comes along and I am not into end game as much. So when and if I come across the aspects that creates a different synergy I would respec and try that. But otherwise it's just for fun as levelling and playing the story and game.
Oh and my advice on blood howl: don't take it for spirit, it has a long animation, in that time you can gain more spirit just using the base skill, instead of standing ther for 2 seconds howling.
It seems like this build would greatly benefit from being on a 2nd character. Your first character could get all the later act aspects for this druid so you wouldn't have to wait so long before you had the aspects that make this build work better like Quicksand.
Does the recent match change this at all? When i took a look at the pulverize druid build on Maxroll, the text guide looked alittle different in the recommended choices.
This build sure *feels* like a work of art, but also I'm a bit curious about the emphasis on poison and crit when we have full fortify and are probably going to semi-reliably Overpower stuff every 12 seconds. Especially on bosses, which are our weakest thing and can't be slowed. So I'm not *entirely* convinced that this is actually better than just staying in Bear 24/7 to earn yet another megablast every 20 seconds and just gemming rubies to empower that. It is, however, a much deeper and more elegant exploration of all the stuff Werebear has to potentially work with, and that's kinda the point of these guides I guess, which is great. But also, I played Werebear a little in the second beta and oh man, 4-5 levels in and about 50%+ of your damage is coming solely from the free Overpower (to wit: I was hitting Mauls for say 17-25, normal Pulverize did maybe 30-40, and Overpower was hitting for say 224). Anyone playing bear for even a few levels is gonna be 100% focused on Overpowers just from that experience alone, and this guide is 100% lacking in any discussion of Overpower. Like, you're even recommending gems for critical chance vs. slowed targets, which does NOT work on bosses. Probably a bear's most viable boss tactic even is to move around a lot, get a little spirit when you can, just to stay healthy the whole 12 seconds to make *sure* you get your overpower. Back this up with DR for mistakes and a little heal that is actually not even that little. Again, it's a great guide and it hits all the non-obvious points beautifully. It just feels like there's an elephant (were-elephant?) in the room this time, along the lines of 'Do a whole lot of extra tricky things to get the most from shapeshifting, crits and poison, or 'just whomp something extra hard again every 20 seconds' and it's really nice when that actually gets mentioned at least!
Played a build very similar in the alpha, and put around 80hrs into it. This build will be extremely tanky and it's aoe clear speed is crazy. Paragon also makes a huge difference on druid.
One thought if you want the wearbear ult, is using debilitating roar instead of howl and bulwark. You get a heal and fortified. Heal is 16% vs 20% and fortified is 22% with 50% damage reduction vs 45% fortified. Just a thought!
Definitely curious about the differences between this one and the Maxroll one. I thought they were going to be the same till I watched. This one looks a lot more like what I played in an earlier build though and it worked well then. I definitely remember running blood howl for the heal
Fantastic video, thanks Raxx..! I love pulverize, so thanks for all the tips.. I can't wait to unleash "thiccgurl" on those demons.... keep up the awesome work...
I'm going for the following build: 1. Max Landslide, take terramotes. Max Trample. 2. Take Aspect of the Trampled Earth on a 2hander. This makes it so Trample spawns 6 Landslides over its duration, each doing 80% (160% on 2hander) normal damage. 3. Take Aspect of the Aftershock, but not on amulet. This makes it so Landslide casts twice every time it casts, and does 12% extra damage. 4. Take Crashstone Aspect on the amulet slot. This makes it so earth skills do 50% (75% on amulet) extra crit damage to crowd controlled enemies. 5. Take Overpowered Pulverize with the Stun option to do the CC - the stuns will give Terramotes. You can get the Overpower every 12s (plus another every 20s if you get the Bear form passive), it can be turned into an Earth skill, and it does a ton of damage in its own right. You'll want the shockwave Aspect taking this too. When the Overpower is on CD, you use Petrify to generate CC. The rest is details. You'd probably take Earthen Bulwark solo and Debilitating Roar for group play or if you're using the NF capstone as below. The clear best ultimate is Petrify. Stack Fortify, DR, and more CC for the rest of the build to generate as many many Terramotes as possible. The idea of this build is that every time I cast Trample I'm spawning 6 Landslides that spawn another 6 Landslides, all of which do 179.2% extra damage to a normal Landslide. Since most of them will be Terramote empowered and everything around me will be crowd controlled, you can add another 75% crit damage on top of the 40% from terramotes, giving 115% extra damage multiplicatively. Altogether that's 385.28% extra damage on each Landslide times 12 Landslides for a single Trample cast. Petrify just adds even more damage multipliers when used. All-in-all, if you Petrify a boss for that 50% extra crit damage, the boss is staggered, and you land all 12 Landslides on your Trample with Terramote empowerments, you've done the equivalent of 56.84 normal Landslide casts worth of damage. The only major decision I haven't landed on is whether to take Nature's Fury or Earthen Might as the keystone. With NF you can take another aspect: Symbiotic Aspect, which reduces your cooldowns by 8s every time NF is triggered, making it so you can cast even more tramples. If I go this route, I'd put Symbiotic on the amulet slot to get 12s off my cooldowns, which makes it so Trample is up pretty much whenever NF is triggered (and Debilitating Roar at that), and since it's spawning 12 Landslides every time I cast it, there's a good chance it'll trigger it by itself. However, this may not be necessary. You're only using this every time you use an Overpowered Pulverize, and NF doesn't make you overpower more, thus you're only doing this every 12s anyways. Thus, Earthen Might is probably a lot better as you're going to be getting all that Spirit back.
@@tsunamihippo Hopefully it works like I think it works! That's the question with all these theorycrafting builds right now: a lot of assumptions about how things are going to work have to be made. Like, will the 6 Landslides that Trample spawns also proc the Aspect of Aftershock the way I think they will?
Raxx, I'd love to see a companion focused build (pack leader?)? Not sure which way to go. I'm going Druid for sure, but druid seems to be more diversified than other classes.
Hey Rax, I have a question. Given how Blizzard made those skill trees, we can have plenty of leveling builds. And I wonder how Maxroll will show the builds. I see you write for Barb but you made builds for every class. Wudi also made many builds for all classes. Are ALL those builds gonna be on ALL classes' pages? For example are we gonna have Wudi's builds (or whoever else is making builds) and your builds on each class's page? Or you all just do some meetings and decide which builds to be there etc?
Hey, please bear with me if these are elementary questions... (1) What's the best approach if you can't add the Aspect of Quicksand to your boots while you are still building your character? For e.g. Is it okay to add it to your chest armour instead or put Aspect of the Ursine Horror on a weapon instead of a ring? Can you correct these decisions later when you're at a higher level & is sticking to the options provided while imprinting a safe bet? (2) I found the Shockwave ring (a legendary ring with 528 power) at level 52, but there's no codex of power entry for the Shockwave Aspect. How can I make the most of it between levels 50-100 and in later games? Should I keep the ring as it is for now, and when is the best time to extract and add it to a higher power ring for maximum advantage? (3 ) Could you create a video explaining fortify? I'm struggling to understand how to prioritize it in my druid pulverize build. I'm particularly getting hit hard by poison right now. Not sure yet if I should focus on adding rubies or sapphires to my armour's for better protection?
Don't see a maxroll link, it still has a d4builds link. When I go on maxroll, there's a different guide by teo that focuses more on the werebear skills. Is this now obsolete? Or is this better than the bear one?
Feedback from Druid main in Betas: 2HND: Shepherds Aspect, Amulet: Aspect of Retaliation, Others: Aspect of the Stampede, Skinwalker’s Aspect, Nighthowler’s Aspect, Aspect of the Ursine Horror, Ballistic Aspect OR Shockwave Aspect. Skills: Rank 1 Wolves, Brutal Ravens (no vine creeper) 7 Active Companions for +63% Pulverize damage, +30% Pulverize damage at max fortify. These increase to +172% with max roll legos. With even minor CDR, Skinwalker’s + Blood Howl keeps fortify capped.
I hate it when raxx releases a build guide. Each one is better than the last and I never know what class I should start now lol. These guides are so good!
I got Shockwave Aspect from my first World boss in the server slam. It felt like going from 0-100 in 0.5 sec, suddenly everything got one shot in world tier 2, and completing kor dragan lvl 30 as a lvl 20 kor was a walk in the park
Hey Raxx. I enjoyed this build. Personally I found leveling with minions as per one of the rage videos to be much faster and more efficient. However this end game set up is much stronger and more rewarding; also I think people are more likely to collect and appreciate the end game build if they levelled with it.
Awesome Job and Thank You! The build and reasoning is articulated so well, it makes the entire build and its synergies easy to understand!!! Q: Is the 6% increase critical strike chance from Predatory Instincts simply more damage than the flat +15% damage if you took Quickshift in the ultimate tree?
If you are already weaving I think quick shift is way better. But if you want to be more braindead crit is better. Quickshift obviously does nothing if you take grizzly rage
Best build. Better than Teo's. Running Grizzly Rage instead of Trample, but that's really only there to serve as an OH NOES button when there are tons of elites spamming effects. Level 56 now and happily killing everything. Have only died once (at 52, right before getting Shockwave, while playing sick and just not being aggressive enough with potions) using this build.

keep in mind, if you take grizzly rage you can't use any non werebear skills during its duration, so with this build only trample and pulverize would be usable.
There are items you can play around with that make non-werebear skills werebear skills as I understand.
@@srenjensen2625 only a unique that turns earth skills into wearbear skills but that item will be an extremely rare drop that you likely won’t find until end game.
@@rcd992 That's a fair point, then. I do agree that it should be relatively accessible items for it to make sense for most people.
They need a Lego that turns blood howl into bear skill. Wolf gets one that turns roar into a wolf skill.
A walking fridge you say? Well then I shall name my Druid FridgelyBear.
or William Beary
Dude you are rocking it out the park with these vids!!
I was waiting for this guide video. You rock!!
Cool build Raxx, I think it's going to feel great having that progression of unlocking powers as you play through the campaign, and I love being a super tanky boi. Can't wait!
Perfect timing to watch at work.
But otherwise it's just for fun as levelling and playing the story and game.
out here doin the lords work. thanks for the vids (and for maxroll!)
I tried other builds... this ones the only one I don't get deleted. Ty!
Realy did you try maxroll build too I am asking because I am leveling a druid and want to find the best leveling guide
Was looking forward to this one. Thanks man!
Oh and my advice on blood howl: don't take it for spirit, it has a long animation, in that time you can gain more spirit just using the base skill, instead of standing ther for 2 seconds howling.
17 min video. I see what you did there, Raxx!
the 17 dmg caught me off guard in that intro lmao :D
It seems like this build would greatly benefit from being on a 2nd character. Your first character could get all the later act aspects for this druid so you wouldn't have to wait so long before you had the aspects that make this build work better like Quicksand.
I agree unfortunately myself im going druid at launch and my leveling build is kinda like youtubers but not fully
Great vid, thanks! I think the druid is going to be an awesome character to play!
Does the recent match change this at all? When i took a look at the pulverize druid build on Maxroll, the text guide looked alittle different in the recommended choices.
He did it he said the meme 🙌
Timestamp?
@@LarsVilksIsAwesomeat the very beginning, he even photoshopped the meme in his own face for a second
Thank you Raxx for this guide. If you by any chance encounter a druid called Refrigirator ingame, that would be me ^^
One thought if you want the wearbear ult, is using debilitating roar instead of howl and bulwark. You get a heal and fortified. Heal is 16% vs 20% and fortified is 22% with 50% damage reduction vs 45% fortified. Just a thought!
Waiting for the bow rogue, thanks for your guides.
Great video, please put the important stats into the document =)
17 damage ref was godly ❤
Definitely curious about the differences between this one and the Maxroll one. I thought they were going to be the same till I watched. This one looks a lot more like what I played in an earlier build though and it worked well then. I definitely remember running blood howl for the heal
Fantastic video, thanks Raxx..! I love pulverize, so thanks for all the tips.. I can't wait to unleash "thiccgurl" on those demons.... keep up the awesome work...
I'm going for the following build:
This sounds like a lot of fun
@@tsunamihippo Hopefully it works like I think it works! That's the question with all these theorycrafting builds right now: a lot of assumptions about how things are going to work have to be made. Like, will the 6 Landslides that Trample spawns also proc the Aspect of Aftershock the way I think they will?
Raxx, I'd love to see a companion focused build (pack leader?)? Not sure which way to go. I'm going Druid for sure, but druid seems to be more diversified than other classes.
But they can’t summon bears anymore?
According to Rax & Wudijo: Both the Barbarian & Druid will be the most powerful end game class. S-tier.
Def going Druid. Thanks Raxx.
Great work, like every build from you!
Man I just want to run around with Wolves. Hope a good pet build comes to light someday.
Don't see a maxroll link, it still has a d4builds link. When I go on maxroll, there's a different guide by teo that focuses more on the werebear skills. Is this now obsolete? Or is this better than the bear one?
Great vid! Grizzly rage with natures fury and trampleslide is going to be super broken
Feedback from Druid main in Betas:
2HND: Shepherds Aspect, Amulet: Aspect of Retaliation, Others: Aspect of the Stampede, Skinwalker’s Aspect, Nighthowler’s Aspect, Aspect of the Ursine Horror, Ballistic Aspect OR Shockwave Aspect.
Skills: Rank 1 Wolves, Brutal Ravens (no vine creeper)
7 Active Companions for +63% Pulverize damage, +30% Pulverize damage at max fortify. These increase to +172% with max roll legos. With even minor CDR, Skinwalker’s + Blood Howl keeps fortify capped.
I hate it when raxx releases a build guide. Each one is better than the last and I never know what class I should start now lol. These guides are so good!
Yeah I can’t decide between sorc/barb/Druid after watching these guides 😂
I'm going to try making my main in D4 a Werewolf/Zoo hybrid Druid
Because it's my favorite class
I don't care if it's "optimized"
I got Shockwave Aspect from my first World boss in the server slam. It felt like going from 0-100 in 0.5 sec, suddenly everything got one shot in world tier 2, and completing kor dragan lvl 30 as a lvl 20 kor was a walk in the park
Hey Raxx. I enjoyed this build. Personally I found leveling with minions as per one of the rage videos to be much faster and more efficient. However this end game set up is much stronger and more rewarding; also I think people are more likely to collect and appreciate the end game build if they levelled with it.
Yet another AAA leveling guide! my man the GOAT thank you!
Great video. Definitely going bear slam. If you get a leg that makes your normal form a wolf does that trigger the passive clarity?
Awesome Job and Thank You! The build and reasoning is articulated so well, it makes the entire build and its synergies easy to understand!!!
Q: Is the 6% increase critical strike chance from Predatory Instincts simply more damage than the flat +15% damage if you took Quickshift in the ultimate tree?
If you are already weaving I think quick shift is way better. But if you want to be more braindead crit is better. Quickshift obviously does nothing if you take grizzly rage
Could you please make a video of what we should and shouldn't do while leveling. Maybe some tips and tricks please. Thanks
It’s about at this level you should be going for the act 5 dungeon…I’m level 25 and haven’t started act 2 yet
That picture at 0:18 🤣
Since Tornado is not an earth skill, could you make an alternative leveling build with tornado for the case that we do get that leggy?
awesome vid, great guide, perfect explanations
