That's why the middle east alliance soldiers were reluctant in shooting her (because it is also a war crime to kill civilians). This makes gabi's remark about falco trying to gain advantage by obeying the international law more significant
I love how meta is the beggining of the episode. Gabi is basically saying: "so, it is a different show from now on, let me explain it from the beggining."

Wow that's impressive. I'd never seen anyone during the first few seconds of the episode tie Falco and the original Grice from S3 the way Rivas did right from the get go. Colt and Falco look a lot like the original Grice That Kenny looking person in the end - he's looking at the newspaper while all the others around him are celebrating the defeat of the mid East Allies and I can just hear his thoughts. I love what this mysterious person represents here...

A little background with the war: It mainly consisted at sea between the Mid-East Allie's Navy and Marley's. Because Marley relied on their Titans, their navy and military are severely underdeveloped compared to the other nations advanced weaponry (like their warships, Anti-Titan weapons, and Armored Train). Because they were fighting in the sea, the Titans were no use which is why the war dragged on for so long.
there's a lot of parts that culminate into people hating the new animation, one part that you guys don't seem to mind is the cgi which is already a very debated topic in the community. the change of style also threw off many fans who were picking the show up as the new season aired, a lot of people including myself thought we clicked on the wrong show. another factor was that mappa, until this point, was mostly known for fluid 2d animation like jjk, banana fish and yuri on ice (people seem to always forget dorohedoro which is all 3d and also peak btw) so they assumed they would get similar style choices in aot, but due to an insanely tight budget and short schedule, they used a lot more cgi compared to the last three seasons. thanks for always being awesome btw ive been watching you guys since day one and i can't wait to experience this masterpiece again with you!!

Basement reveal has opened the truth and reality of the world. For Paradis people, the war has only begun. The fights up until now, was just to learn what was hidden them from now, like a baby that has fought to learn to walk... Now, we walk n we move forward.

The reason we don't like MAPPA's version of AoT is not for the lack of animation prowess; in that regard they're great. It's more to do with direction and creativity.

Isn't the volume a bit low for you guys? I'm not talking about us as viewers but I feel like even you have the volume very low, you maybe don't get to enjoy the soundtracks to the fullest.
I hope you guys continue to like gabi. Ik it’s an acquired taste, but her character arc is so good and if you guys can still like zeke after killing Erwin and so many more hopefully you’ll still like gabi. IMO she can be just as annoying and grating as early seasons eren could be but if you wait it out the character arc is so good. I also find it’s easier to forgive her bc of how young and INSANELY brainwashed she was but also bc she overcame it.

Audio is ok out mic just suppresses the audio quite a bit and a lot of of the music is cut out from reaction due to copyright 🫤
