I'm only up to episode 6 of the first season, so i recognized some of it, but not all of it. I'm looking forward to hearing it in the context of the show! Thanks for watching!
Fun fact for Eliana the singer of the first song "ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn". She was told to like lower it a bit down when they first practiced everything because Sawano the composer said that she sounds to similar to the original video and later nobody would think that this is a live record. So instead of taking a step back she put some extra layers on it in 3:45. You can check this part with the video from that song.
I'm so glad you listened to it and liked it, because I really like it too. I've listened to this suite many, many times and I enjoy it every time. Especially for those who watched "Attack on Titan" it's +100 to goosebumps) thanks for the reaction, I liked the video, I'll re-watch your reaction when I want to listen to it again.
It was so good! I’m only on episode 6 of AoT but I’ve already heard pieces in the show, it’s all sooo good! Thanks for the recommendation and for watching!!
I love every second of this suite. Song at 16:20 is one of my favorite songs ever, it's just so grand, tragic, and beautiful, which is a perfect description of Attack on Titan as well. Thanks for checking it out, i enjoyed your comments.
Would you maybe consider posting just the first episode of your attack on Titan reactions onto UA-cam? It’d be a good teaser for people thinking maybe joining the Patreon.
I actually offer a 7 day free trial, which should be plenty of time to catch you up on the first 6 episodes and see if you would like to invest further. Does that work as well?
I’m so sorry this took me so long to see! If you sign up for the ensemble it’ll give you the first 7 days for free. You can also cancel it to avoid getting charged and you’ll keep your 7 days of access. I would love it if you didn’t cancel, but this way you can make the decision yourself. Also, make sure it’s not through Apple, they’ll charge an added fee 🙄.
Attack on Titan is a very sad, dark and struggling story, only few moments is happiness. so Sawano seems serious instead of showing happy face is correct thing to do. If you have a happy face, how do you get yourself into a sad story telling with music? '
I don’t hear sad music, I hear music of defiance, of strength, and ultimately, hope. Despite the sadness and despair, they continue to fight. Maybe his face is better described as “determined”, which may better describe his music… “determined”
@@DavidBraileyLive Determination, yes. But think of all of these songs as battle cries and serenading those who are about to sacrifice their lives and those who have died from fighting. That’s why smiling would totally be out of place in this particular suite. :)
Listen… I know I’m not the only anime nerd in the comments… and I’ve seen AoT more times than I’d care to admit, BUT… I agree one billion percent (Senku reference) that the music from AoT is missed as a full feel with the emotional connection to the actual show, if you haven’t seen the anime. Good gravy this anime and the music are in perfect harmony. You See Big Girl and the first part of Counter Attack always get me.
once you know in which context these songs were used on the show it doubles the enjoyment

AoT definitely has an OST that has become legendary. Hiroyuki really gave us a jewel with this one.
