Welcome to the arc where deku becomes Batman and Spider-Man at the same time
it’s giving spider-man no way home
It’s giving spider-man dark knight
And sasuke
A neat detail about the ending, it opens with Deku stepping into that puddle with his classic red shoes, and then ends with him stepping out of it with the cleats from his costume.
The ending is quite literally a start-to-finish of Deku’s journey so far. You’ll even notice that most of the shots from the ending look like they’re from Deku’s perspective
This ending is similar style to ED 1 and ED 5 with Deku running.
A reactor who remembers 5 Wienies is not a myth, I have seen it!
XD i pulled that memory from the depths of my brain
Yeah, surprised to see a reactor remembered.
The students’ participation being erased from the record is kinda scary. Like, we’re going into some dark “government secret” stuff here...
Yeah, it feels like the commission doesn't want to know they had to bring in children for help.
1. If the adults knew what their kids were being brought into that would cause a minor uprising, so to speak; the media would be full of people calling them out for it.
And 2. It would further bring the heroes down in the public eye. Why do they need the help of CHILDREN?? Unless, of course, our heroes aren't strong enough.
Like. There are these reasons, but also on a darker note, these kids still have a few years in school, before they become a part of the system; maybe the commission doesn't want to mention them, especially if someone decided they didn't want to be a part of this anymore. Imagine what that would do, hearing a kid who's trained all this time to be a hero, being put on the frontlines and then giving up. That would, at the very least, worry public.
There's more to be said ofc, but that would be lengthy
I think people tend to forget that Using Children as wartime combatants is a war crime lmfao
To be clear, only the part where they were fighting was erased from the record. The part where they were helping with the evacuation and rescue afterward was legal.
We feel sad too, Zamber. Those who read about Midnight's death in the manga knew it was coming to the anime sooner or later. I don't think I've ever got over it
Knowing it was coming sadly did nothing to soften the blow. It just had me dreading the big moment
I’m sorry Zamber 😢
@@stomyn I can relate to this horribly.
NO, I will never accept it, she's not dead, she is still alive lalalalalalalalalalalalala
the new ed is likely intended to be a direct parallel to the first MHA ed, which also features deku running for the vast majority of it. The images in the back are meant to remind us of all deku has been through, and remind us of the happy times that are now long gone. Its also meant to remind of us the bond class a has forged thus far, with i think every member getting the spotlight in at least one image. The ed uses the wide eyed, hopeful middle school deku to contrast with the very clearly depressed deku we see at the end of the ed and in the new op. The two Deku's are like night and day. Sure this ED could be considered basic, but i'd argue thats not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes less is more as they say. I think there is much beauty in this endings simplicity. It might even be my favourite ending thus far.
I was about to write a similar comment, also the scenes are almost all from Deku's point of view, I thought that was nice.
Also like ED 5 with Deku running. Like a combo of ED 1 and ED 5 with the newest ED.
In season 5, it was mentioned AFO was in process of sentencing, and they were still doing investigation. So due process. Death penalty often takes some time to carry out in real life.
The Ending is flashes of Deku's memories. They're familiar moments in the show, redrawn from Deku's perspective in them. So you see Deku go from walking to sprinting as he transitioned through the story to the present. It seems basic and simple, but when i saw certain scenes and angles i realized these were what Deku saw of his friends and moments in his life since the day he became a hero.
8:44 I really like this scene for what it shows us about Uraraka's character. This is the *exact* same scenario she just encountered with Toga. But instead of being suspicious she rushes in to help as fast as she can. Even if it could be a trap, Uraraka isn't going to take the risk that her hesitating could leave someone to die.
Safety Commission Chairwoman: "Shut up, I'm going in person to deliver my one liner before immediately springing an ambush, I don't even care if I die for it"
Welcome to my favorite arc of MHA. This…is an arc that’s very personal to me. For now, we’ll leave it at that. I got some…good…bad? Analysis today.
The aftermath of this war. It hits SO fast. Because OF COURSE people feel the heroes failed. And in all honesty…they did. Back in Season 3, I truly believe that AFO lost to All-Might on purpose. AFO was out for maybe a few MINUTES after the United States of Smash. But then he was up with nothing but a bruise on his cheek. (In stark contrast to the knocked off face) But in the time he was arrested, AFO ABSOLUTELY could have decided to kill All-Might and more cops on the way out. But he didn’t. And this…is why. All-Might dying people would understand why he couldn’t achieve his lofty goal. But by forcing him to RETIRE? It’s like saying I WON’T help. And worse, that would reflect bad on Deku if anyone knew of OFA. He failed to keep a semblance of control outside preventing OFA being stolen. And…that’s terrible to blame Deku because NONE of this was anyone’s fault but AFS and his forces. But when lives are lost or even knocked off-kilter and a hero doesn’t get there? That’s a failure. They stopped the apocalypse proper, but NO ONE has seen the heroes get forced back like this.
And just keep this in mind. All of this, yielded about 15,000 arrests….out of 100,000 members of the MLA/PLF. and everything that you can think of goes haywire. If you fail to get all 100k at once, all you succeed in doing is start an earlier attack. Which…is more or less exactly what happened.
The cost of the MANY lives in this battle weigh on each hero. Police. 1st responder. Remember the Provisional License exam in season 3? This disaster sight is near identical. But it all is real. We see people that ARE saved. But seeing what needs to be done FOR them to be saved is proof just how many weren’t. You say the kids can’t take this. The ADULTS can’t take this. The public is sick of the chaos, the law enforcement is sick of it. But…to have HEROES sick and unable to take this…is just so much worse. It’s petrifying. And Uraraka’s face watching the hero quit mid disaster says it all. Society was shaken to its core with the STAIN arc. But here? We have seen the power that can restart the dark age we saw in season 5 episode 2. We SAW the world AFO controlled. He broke it down, and could BRAG about it. This…is the breaking point.
But it’s not one, it’s MANY. We see the last move Twice makes by having a copy of Redestro. And it SHATTERS the public safety commission. Anime exclusive as to how the scenario played out. We only saw Mera the guy who BADLY needs coffee and the leader of the public safety commission in his arms as they watch Redestro melt away. Here we see Redestro was ACTUALLY trying to locate Hawks. Which could be connected to how Dabi found Hawk’s name and past. And this is GREATLY appreciated as a change.
This episode was a bit heavy on the recap. But the past is never more important than it is now. And I’m ready to show how deep these rabbit holes go. This is GREAT stuff.
I don’t think AFO lost on purpose, I think it was a Xanatos Gambit. If he defeats All Might, particularly in the way he was trying to do it (punching him to death was very symbolic; All Might is the hero that can punch any problem and make it go away) then he has broken the back of hero society and he can more or less continue operating as he sees fit. If he is defeated or even killed, he’s already move his quirk and the associated vestiges of himself to Tomura, and we get the events that we see. The only way AFO loses is in he is captured/killed AND Tomura is neutralized, which is why he sent Tomura away with his warp as soon as things got real. Once he did that, there was basically no way he could lose.
@@Matrim42 well that does align with how AFO plans in this show and I agree with that analysis. But I was more referring to after AFO woke up. He didn’t wake up in prison. He was conscious before he was taken off the battlefield. AFO could always have killed the cops escorting him and the newly defenseless All-Might and fled to Dr. Garaki who DEFINITELY would have an oxygen system for him. But he does none of that. That’s what I meant when I said AFO allowed All-Might’s victory. He won the moment he showed the world All-Might wasn’t indestructible with his deflated form.
The opening is soooo good. Honestly I noticed a pattern with each season that the first half or the 2nd half is the story driven story than the other half is the more chill relax time but this season naw it’s still going not taking a break of joy just trauma.
Like All for One said. "I'm not going to give them time to recover." Both for their world, and us the audience~
@@zebreacts9706 no like fr the episode after this was just like “WTF” honestly so many Easter eggs with characters that I liked seeing and one of them I wasn’t sure who their identity was cause they looked so weird without their costume until the recent episode happened and confirmed that deadly smile only belonged to a certain someone who I’m curious is supposed to be the character the opening shows shoto, Ida, and Bakugo fighting.
Rest In Peace Midnight 😢😭🙏
the kids are traumatize and what will happen next like the other kids at the school omg the school life like how many will drop out and class 1A and 2B are going to have PTSD after this
The ending isn't basic....it's really actual special because it's from Deku's perspective and the song is just a banger.
This episode was epic I love it! Also I’m a new subscriber! You and your content are amazing! Keep up the amazing work! 😊👍
2:02 It’s kinda hard to tell but that’s Shigaraki. You can tell by the lip and eye scar.
Lesson learned Zamber, never forget the comfort oshawott.
this episode was like utterly impossible to process, i yelled so loud at my computer when the deaths were revealed, like- i knew death would happen but my hero has never killed off one of the main characters. this whole thing and all the devastation left me shook to my core.
Love this episode excited to see what you think
Watching this episode was depressing cause I couldn't even cry at what happened it was just sad
The opening perfectly grasped the vibe of this upcoming arc
From now on you will have to be very well prepared emotionally 👍🥲
Those light hearted moments in season 5 were to be cherished because season 6 is shaking things up seriously. lol
The purple hair lady you see… she’s from the voice actress of Anya in the sub version. It was very surprising to all of us
PLUSHIEEEE
🥺😭
I literally wonder when any of these heros are going to start killing...
It feels like this is always about putting these villains behind bars🤷🏻♂️
Hi.
You know seeing all that Chaos a thought came to my Mind, most Villians would have been extremly useful Rescue Heros.
Compress can Transport and "Freeze" anything doesnt matter who many or who heavy. Twice is an Unlimited "Workforce". Sceptic can "produce" an nearly unlimited Amounts of Workers. Shigaraki can clear any Amount of Debris without Problem. Trumpet can "Incite" anyone to get them more Energy. Geten can Freeze shut any Bleeding Wound. Overhaul would be an God Tier "Healer". Re-Destro can also Clear any amount of Debris
This episode was crazy, im glad to see ur reaction
The heroes lost and that bastard All For One won.
the brothers part just made me cry so bad
Yeah, keep Oshi handy. Still some rough stuff ahead.
2 Years ago you watched Assassination Classroom.. & you said something like you wouldn't take My Hero Academia with you or something like that.. (from the last episodes) idk how to describe it differently.. xd
did you change your mind? or still wouldn't?
i would take both with me.. in my Heart & Soul..
17:50-18:12 My problem with Stain's perspective is that he seems to think that no other hero but All Might is a true hero by definition, and so everyone is fake in comparison. But what kind of standard is that and how does he actually evaluate any other hero based on that standard? I mean, when Hawks killed Twice, he did it because he was trying to save the country from the PLF. Would Stain not consider Hawks a hero for doing that, if for anything ELSE Hawks did as a hero? When Crust sacrificed himself to save Mr. Aizawa from being decayed, while giving Mr. Aizawa a thumbs with a smile on his face, would Stain have seen him as a false hero? What about when Mirko put her life on the line to find and stop Shigaraki from being awakened, despite being seriously injured in the process? Would Stain look at that, and go, "nah that's fake"? What about when Midnight was dying and used ALL of her remaining time trying to coordinate with students to stop the rampaging monster from causing mass casualties. and NEVER ONCE asked anyone to come save her life? What is Stain's standard for being a fake hero, other than, "they're not All Might"?
the kids are traumatize and what will happen next like the other kids at the school omg the school life like how many will drop out and class 1A and 2B are going to have PTSD after this
It's pretty easy to miss, but the hero that Deku, Todoroki, and Iida saved from Stain is listed amongst the dead heroes. He was Native, and you can see him in the top right corner of the pictures.
Is the midnight thing out or is it still only in te manga
Edit: ohh nvm this was it 😂🤣
I fell supper sad that midnight died but how am I not sad I feel sad but I don’t look sad 😅
Helllllllo!!!! I have a question have you ever heard of the anime named Servamp? I have not seen anyone react to it and so I came to you. Servamp is a vampire anime, if you ever get a chance please react to it!!!
Life hack: If you want to commit crimes then commit as many as possible then it will take longer to prosecute you and you can plan to escape.
The tears start coming & they don’t stop coming & they don’t stop coming & they don’t stop coming & they don’t stop coming & they don’t stop-
I am so sorry Zamber I thought midnight was going to live😔
Spiderbatdeku, Spiderbatdeku
Sobbing, crying, puking, passing out
I'm sorry but you haven't cried enough yet 😜
nooooo plsssss have mercy on me.... i even cried again when i was editing it lol
Wednesday reaction please
Where do you find it?
SAD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO🤐
nice
Interesting thing: Among dead heros there's one that was saved by boys from Hero killer.
It's So Dark Now...
🦆
I literally asked at the beginning of you had your plushie
Yes. Grab Oshawott.
And yes, the screen had the major deaths that happened.
11:44 Well, as near as we can tell he hadn't gone on trial yet. Darn slow justice system.
Zamber let’s just say you may need the plushy this next arc more than the last one
😱
What app did you find this episode on
Crunchyroll or funimation
Please react to Chainsaw Man.
There's no way midnight's dead if she or anyone else that's like not in critical like cant eri maybe use her quirk to bring them back maybe idk AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
i think its one of those things that you can't "bring back life" to something that isn't "alive" currently.
@@IAmZamber DAMMIT DAMMIT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THATS AANG KORRA WHERE ARE YOU I NEED YOU TO TAKE TO THE SPIRIT REALM AND FIND MIDNIGHT NOW
the kids are traumatize and what will happen next like the other kids at the school omg the school life like how many will drop out and class 1A and 2B are going to have PTSD after this
@@nerty6 oh my god I didn't even think about that wow AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Rip miss midnight 😢💔
the kids are traumatize and what will happen next like the other kids at the school omg the school life like how many will drop out and class 1A and 2B are going to have PTSD after this
I'll never understand why midnight dying is such a upsetting scene imo she didn't play that much of a role in the show for me to feel connected to her and like her yeah she showed up during the sports festival and during the training arc in S5 but for the most part she was hardly there
It's the pain of losing a "teacher", a person who is seen as strong and because they are strong, they are teaching others how to be like them.... so it's this sadness and fear that kicks in from losing someone in that role... setting that dark reality of being a hero.... it also was x10 more sad that the students found her first, hearing their cries made it more upsetting emotionally.
But i found her to be a great teacher, who genuinely seemed to care about all students. It's unfortunate we didn't get more of her or her backstory, so it makes it more sad to know that she is gone.
@@IAmZamber We got more of Midnight in the spin-off manga, she was good friends with Aizawa and Present Mic.
I liked Midnight and even seeing the kids upset is what it is. Like with Nighteye dying, it was seeing Mirio's reaction to it that really got me to feel something.
@@raec5426 I mean cool if some people find it upsetting cool but tbh I'd rather cry for say Bakugou dying or something since we know more about the students than the teachers
@Riddle RoseHearts Well obviously depends on personal character preference for investment (some may not mind Bakugo dead for example), but I get your point. Basically someone more relevant to plot. lol
