No joke, my friend. The calm music you had playing during the transformation lullabied me to sleep. Suddenly, the explicit bleeps woke me back up 😂😂😂😂😂.
The shorter gun's ability to tilt is a homage to Gundam style beam rifles, it allows the mech to hold it dual-grip.
The cuts to you swearing at the transformation are so funny
The light feature on the head is at the mouth piece....press in. The extra head which has the power light at the crest id for the threezero figure.
The light up on this figure is on his mouth piece, that's why it is wobbly
If you didn't know you can actually lock in the chest its a hidden feature which they didn't explain in the info, if you watch JobbytheHongs video on this toy he shows how to lock it in

Yay thanks for the shout-out, I can't believe I made it!! But man, that was really heartbreaking. I was really expecting to be blown away by this thing...I hope you do get the transformation sorted out because based on what I saw and with the 3Zero available, it just feels like it's a non-starter for anyone in the market for a Bumblebee movie Optimus 😥😥

Excellent figure! I skipped the threezero version just for this one since it transformers and has tons of accessories. I got mine a few months ago and I was thoroughly impressed. I agree that there is littel to no desire to go through the process of transforming him though. If I could afford a second one, I would buy it just to leave it in his truck mode. I will definitely be picking up the Nemesis Prime version of this guy too.
Who came here Because Takara has a brand new MP-12 of Optimus Prime!
We need a "deluxe" version of MP G1 Prime, too. There's no reason that design can't have the super-detailed treatment too.
Take of his head crest to reveal a switch for the light.
I love this figure, but I will NEVER be transforming it. Not a chance.
There's a lot of easy pitfalls but if you do things in a certain order it's actually pretty easy. You just need to to the side windows BEFORE the little red panel behind it (the part Sixo went "oh god why!") it requires some wiggling but you can do it and if you do that area works perfectly fine and won't snap. Other than that just do the legs before the body and make sure that second joint in the spine is moving as it can be really stiff and miss aligns everything if wrong. Fuck those tabs he couldn't get to go in though those are hopeless! I had to sand mine down to get them to fit in.
At that point why not buy the ThreeZero figure.

The chest not locking in is my biggest grip other than that I love this figure, of course I still haven’t transformed him yet.
45:50 That is how i felt after i transformed "Diesel" of Fansproject Menasor M3. After a very few transformations it ended in the recycle bin.
There is a way to lock his chest,u can light up the toy world eyes(the button is in the mouth plate)
In the cartoon BumbleBee was only a little taller than Optimuses Knee..
You know, I think after listing to this week's Triple Takeover that you may have settled on this being a Boot.
You have to press on the mouth plate to get the eyes to light up.
I got the Wei Jiang one but this looks much nicer.
If you didn't know, you can charge up weapons(ion blaster and sniper rifle) with that wire 4:50 , also you can pop off those disk to make it more earth mode wheels 33:03(but i think you wouldn't care about it considering how fun the transformation was)
Fun fact 35:42 toy world made their version of AoE or TLK Optimus Prime and will you buy that figure?

This may be a bit of a dated comment given I've just recently discovered your channel and all that.. But here goes~!
First and foremost, I enjoyed your review of Freedom Leader. I felt you were honest with your overall opinions, and you showed off the figure in it's entirety.
That being said however, I feel because of your more than bias opinion on the Three-0 figure, your opinion was less fair than it could have been. Had you just made a simple mention or two of the Three-0 figure, showing off the alternate head and such that was included with Freedom Leader, I could forgive that. But you instead directly compared the two and I feel it overshadows your overall review of Freedom Leader in an unfair light.
All the same however, keep up the awesome work~

Man, I have to admit I was laughing throughout the transformation process because it was pretty much my experience first time I transformed it. Quite interestingly, the left side panel is also problematic on mine, although not as bad as yours.
I'm torn, as the sculpt and paint is great, but the transformation process is just awful. Weijiang's Fire Scorpion has quite lower quality paint and sculpt-wise, also worse articulation but transforms a lot easier.

@Mr. Jefry yes, I mean, for the robot mode and the sculpt, and painting, or the accessories it might worth the price. But as I said, it really just left me somewhat an unpleasant aftertaste. Good thing I purchased it second hand for less than that 😀
only issue..is hand wrist,lose grip,no chest lock but u can configurate by fan fix overall i love this figure

I don’t really care about accessories, my points is articulation. So can someone help me out, which one between tw09 and 3a is more fun for posing? Specially with unique pose, not just boring poses.

Hey Sixo! The Nemesis recolor for Freedom Leader has a neck piece that can take either the threezero head or even the replacement head that comes with Freedom Leader!

Like a lot of keyfobs there's a tiny gap along the seam down by the loop, near the C button. Use a spudger or tiny flathead screwdriver to gently pry it apart. Once it pops, run your tool around the open edge to fully separate it. If you're using a screwdriver be careful to not gouge the plastic.
You will need a CR2032 battery, commonly available in stores in the US. My figure came with a replacement battery in the box, maybe yours did too?

It does, yeah, although I almost missed it. Tiniest set of instructions and it’s packaged in with the electronics and batteries. Easy to miss.

There's a lot of questionable design choices for Freedom Leader, tbh.

I have the nemesis prime version, and honestly its disappointing. It looks good but it's not fun to play with. Transformation is a nightmare.
When you contrast that with the three zero which is beautiful and a solid toy I wish I had just gone with the three zero.

Yeah the ThreeZero one is really cool! It's just swapping out the hands that really sucks.
It's because you did the chest flap wrong which blocks the hands which doesn't allow the flap to be tabbed. This probobly turned people off from the toy, and it's because you mistransformed
Nope, I didn’t.
You can display both 3-0 and Freedom Leader, but only one can transform into a truck and has lights and sounds plus more weapons. Transform Freedom Leader once every 6 to 8 months it is the better option.

@@SixoTF I have some complex stuff. I like the option of modes. Display a set in vehicle modes or as bots fighting. If you just want a statue, why not get a statute? It just feels redundant to get a Transformer that doesn't transform.
@@almostontimehero5415 I have lots of complex stuff too, but complexity isn’t the issue. Toys can be complex but still fun to transform - this just isn’t fun and doesn’t work as it should. It’s a flaw that it’s so arduous to transform, given the poor clearances etc.
In any case, if you handle the ThreeZero figure then you’ll see it has many benefits over the TW one in terms of articulation and posing. It’s an altogether better made product. If you don’t like non-transforming figures then of course that’s fine, but by no means is the TW definitely better purely on the basis that it can transform.
@@SixoTF Fun is just a buzzword and can be subjective. I just saw a video where a naked woman was hitting a man's balls with a bat. I bet he was having fun. I would take your consideration if parts had broken or paint chipped during Transformation but I didnt see that happening. Freedom Leader is also the best Transforming Bumble Bee Optimus Prime if many other reviewers are to be believed. Mine won't arrive until after new years. Got the deluxe version for a cool $180.

In any case, you’re very welcome to disagree with me - I anticipate a lot of people will. It’s not just “fun” that’s subjective - it all is. That’s the entire nature of reviews. However that doesn’t make my opinion wrong any more than it does any other reviewer’s, but I understand if you prefer reviews where you just agree with everything. I get that people also don’t like hearing that someone didn’t like a toy they’re looking forward to. I was excited for this one too, after all.
Anyway, I sincerely hope you enjoy it when it arrives. Maybe more than a bat to the balls, anyhow. 😉
