I love how it's so accurate and the back isnt full of kibble, and the chest isnt just the front of the truck its actually transformed

There isn't any fiddly bits and struts on thin ass joints (DS Split) or any excessive fragile panels and hinges (MP44)
For the most part it's straightforward and parts do what they're told.. Overall.. It's a solid 3P Optimus Prime

ToyWorld is getting in the league with Unique Toys in term of Masterpiece Movie line, meanwhile Takara is sleeping some where
Hoang Luxius agreed. Toyworld is putting weathering details on their fully painted figure meanwhile every single figure in takara’s mpm line still suffering from dull, unpainted, gray plastic that sticks out like a sore thumb.
Man latest MPM10 Starscream is AWFUL and look at that price, highway robbery for a sthitty jet kibble and awful paint... TF Dream Studio GOD-08S just crushes it in paint applique. I got into Figurines of Transformers because of Starscream Leader, which I didn't get but got a Challenger from UT R-02 which was a fucking stellar magic from UT in nailing down Knight look, and R-03 is another masterpiece. Now the sad news is Hasbro killed Wei Jiang and thus no more Reissue of Modified MPM Thunder Leader and even UT is closing up from rumors. This is bullshit, Hasbro cannot make shit for the toys, even 3A is overpriced vs these TW and DX9 UT.
Oh and by the way, Primes alt mode is a 1986 freightliner FLA cabover.

@@_V.Va_ of course, transformers toys are all about compromises. But some make a better attempt than others. Namely the long nose primes like the mpm optimus conceals the robot kibble a whole lot better in the vehicle mode.
I like the part when he does the optimus impression, its a very good impression anf i couldnt help but smile, god bless :)

PrimeVsPrime that’s just a bummer for a product that’s not only fresh out of the packaging but that you waited on for so long. If I were you I would honestly reach out to Show.Z Store and let them know. They’re really good about rectifying issues like that. I know when I received my BmB Ironhide it was missing a piece on the left arm and I couldn’t attach his weapon or transform him because of it and they reached out to BmB and got me the part. It took a few weeks but it was worth it. May be worth your time. They may be able to get you a new head from Toyworld.

i've gotta be honest, this is history in the making, one of the most ACCURATE transformers through and through, this is what optimus prime deserves :D
Toyworld is quickly becoming the go to company for non knock off masterpiece movie figures and they're smart to beat everyone else to the punch and focus on the new more g1 designs from the newest movie while everyone else is stuck on things that go back more than a decade. They can always work backwards if they want. This piece is pretty damn amazing. I don't imagine there's anyone that's going to get any closer to this with it still being able to transform.
Let’s just be honest those movie characters from bay suck horrible this figure though I do agree is best but I don’t want them focusing on the movie. Figures theirs no. Point unless it’s the Franchise readjusting after bays folly
@@bklynax5972 Nah, I gotta disagree. The charters looked amazing, they were all very streamlined and looked real, I do have love for the G1 characters but I gotta say there's something with me about the Bayverse looks
I think optimus design looks better in bayverse than knightverse but I prefer bumblebee's design in knightverse. That's jist my opinion

accel sy it would be nice of the chest compartment locks in when you bring it up over the abdomen area. As it is, i believe it is the only unstable part in robot mode.

I like Knight form more, Cybertronian technology with old Knight forms from Earth, it feels amazing to see both of the primitive aspects of them, and his Robot mode of Challenger from UT is mind boggling. I do not like Bumblebee movie because of his pantywaisted character and shitty protag and dumb plot, fights. Also as much as I hate that movie, I like Optimus design, he is fantastic, G1 inspired and top notch face.

Well if i remember correctly he didn't have the matrix in the movie (i could be wrong) would be cool though.

That is a beautiful transforming Prime. I love that the eyes light up as well as the blaster with light and sound effects. But it would have been nice for the joints to be metal or something stronger like some of the other parts so he can hold the shield or the guns without the wrist being all floppy. But otherwise, almost perfect.

@@bigTTTTT takara is the one that makes masterpieces. Hasbro is for kids. Takara just makes Hasbro's paint better and work with them with studio series. Other than that takara is all masterpiece transformers. TAKARA is getting lazy HASBRO makes the kids transformers.

I really like it when only optimises legs are transformed, I just looks comical.
i reserved mine from showz. Im taking a chance. Love the look on this figure. Im prepared to do some work on it like fixing that floppy shoulder and wrist. Not sure about the chest but i heard from Tfw2005 about a fix on that. Hopefully i dont regret this guy
Would probably be the best Optimus figure if it wasn't for those feet in vehicle mode.
The head can be moved slightly back at the base of the neck.
That alone will greatly improve the balance of appearance.

I've had a bad experience with Aoyi Mech which arrived broken. Now I'm afraid to order third party... I'd love to have this knowing it's not broken or gets easily broken...
This one is pretty tough. Only thing to be cautious of are the front windows for the chest

ALL HAIL TRANSFORMERS well to be fair, the flat-nose truck g1 styled optimus figures have always suffered from the awkward legs in alt mode. The latest and supposedly greatest mp44 has the legs looking like a michael bay action sequence in alt mode. The well respected mp10 also has the feet sticking out the back of the truck in alt mode. And we don’t even need to talk about mp01.

ALL HAIL TRANSFORMERS sure, but the robot mode is a lot worse. I display my figures mostly in robot mode, so not a fair trade off imo.

Looks amazing of course but I’ll stick with my 3A. My Primes always display in robot mode so for me there is no point in getting both
What's the purpose of the double hinges on the inside of the windscreen? I don't understand why they'd include that articulation if it wasn't for robot mode. I think the windshield wipers are supposed to be removed for Cybertronian mode. EDIT: It looks like the window "brow" pieces are flush with the windows in truck mode and pushed forward in bot mode to make the windows look recessed.
Just got off the phone with my preorder company and he said that word from Toy World on the delay of the DLX version was “Factory Delay” or something like that, which he interpreted as they were making some improvements to the DLX and it was therefore delayed at the factory-most notably the hands and the joint in the wrists. Possibly the feet too/who knows exactly but he thinks it might be a little while longer.
Very nice. I think one of the smaller guns is meant to represent the War for Cybertron game version, but I might be incorrect. I like this figure, however the clearance issues have me worried. I like a figure I'm not gonna be too concerned about transforming it. Still looks amazing.

It looks great but in my opinion the torso is too short on the toy world one.

I’m sure the pride they feel in accomplishing such a piece of fine work would be worth it.
But they could have done a better job with the back of the truck, instead of just leaving Optimus’ feet just sticking out.
I pre ordered the Deluxe version and still waiting for it to be shipped. Makes me want it even more after watching your video! I’m surprised two guns are USB charges with sound effects and lights! The joints are a bit loose though.

That is a cool idea. They could make a small powerbank that could attach to the back like a space backpack. Hook it to the gun or even the head.

And the deluxe version comes with more than just a stand. There's a number of additional accessories.

I got mine. The transformation & detail is amazing... but cmon- why do we need so many guns? And they should have fixed the hand ball joints cuz its too small n flimsy. Alot of costs could have been brought down tbh

I preordered the Fire Scorpion/Wei Jiang M-09 myself. I really like the Toyworld one but for almost $100 bucks cheaper the M-09 looks really really damn close. Minus all the extra accessories of course.

@@PrimeVsPrime I'm sure I'll LOVE it. Just a matter of if it will fit with my collection (mainly given the size). I do wish it was MPM-scaled, as that is my preferred size for these things. Still looks like a badass figure though.
The head sculpt is the only thing that can be improved.

Were you able to straighten out the horn on his helmet? I thought that might be something they did on all of them, but none of the other images I've seen show it bent that way. Can the head be disassembled so that piece can be dropped into some hot water to straighten, or is it glued together too well?
I wasn’t unfortunately. The head can be taken apart but the plastic is too ridged. Even when heated it up it just will not bend

Is this the most accurate/complicated Bumblebee movie Optimus? I want to get one but I’m looking for something as accurate and complicated as possible
If you're okay with the lazily engineered foot transformation this is the figure for you.
As many things as this figure does right, the tiny, dainty wrist joints confuse me.
I like this one, but am curious to see the WJ M09 (Fire Scorpion mold) Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime before making a decision. By far it's miles in front of the upscaled BmB/Aoyi Mech and the previous WJ upscaled version of the SS Bumblebee movie Optimus
Wow, so funny that you seem to say the 3A is a better bot. Just looking at them side by side I think the tw proportions look a lot more heroic (though I'm not contesting movie accuracy). Also, I thought the head looked way too small on the 3A when you showed them side by side to it was hilarious to then hear that tw felt the same way--in fact, so strong they figured they would help 3A out. Lol.
