- Using blade baits to catch a ton of Lake Erie walleye and hook up with an unexpected sturgeon. Some fast action on spring walleye out of Buffalo Harbor.

Nice walleyes
Thanks!
Nice video ! Do you need special lights or anything on the boat to be able to see where you are going to get there or is it pretty well lit up at night that standard boat lights are fine.
Thank you! We don’t use any lights but I have seen some guys rig up an LED light bar on the front. Slow your pace, use your electronics and some common sense, and you’ll be amazed how well you can navigate in the dark. We keep a spotlight handy if it’s needed to locate a channel marker, etc.
That's look like Detroit River I see buildings in the background
It’s the harbor in front of the City of Buffalo, NY. Thanks for watching.
Wow!! Epic morning!!!
They don’t get much better :)
Awesome video man. Cool to see a sturgeon too. I tried that spot yesterday evening and couldn't get a bite so we went further out. I hooked 8 jigging landed 5 eyes my brother only 1
Thanks! Those fish have really started moving and staying on them has been tough. Hooking up 8 is really good. Hope to see you out there.
WHAT'S THE 12.1 ON BOTTOM OF UR SCREEN MEAN I GOT THE REST
It’s the volts from the battery. On the Lowrance units there is a setting to monitor battery life. Thanks for watching!
NO BLADE BAITS IN YOUR STORE
Amazon doesn’t carry the Cabela’s brand and I didn’t want to offer something I don’t use just because Amazon Carrie’s it. Sorry for any confusion.
I would rather catch one jigging than 10 trolling. Looks like you are using 1/2 oz Cabela’s mean eye blade baits
Same here. And yes, using Cabela’s blades but in 3/4 oz. Thanks for watching!
@@willsworldoutdoors I’m 69 and blade baits have been my favorite bait to fish for 40 years, began with the silver buddy, a southern blade bait. People have been told that blade baits are for winter fishing in rivers only. BS they work in all seasons in any water. Last April at Green Bay I caught my biggest on a blade bait
I didn’t realize they have been around that long. The more I fish them the more I like them. Very versatile bait.
@@willsworldoutdoors remember back then we didn’t have big chain tackle stores, we had small mom and pop shops. At least that’s how it was in Tennessee. The silver buddy was invented by Billy Westmoreland, a Tennessee smallmouth fisherman. The next one I remember was the Heddon sonar and that’s all that was available to me for a long time. Now I have a Lakewood box full of many different blade baits.
