Super clean! Huge fan! Already subbed and I definitely liked the video! Great filming and getting better each time you post. I'm up in Erie if you ever need a fishing buddy... Thanks!
Loved watching multi generations fishing together!! Reminded me of fishing for Walleyes in Canada with my dad and grandfather. Great memories. Also loved the Lund boat. I fish Lake Erie off of Mentor Ohio with a 2075 Lund Tyee. I can't think of a better boat for Great Lakes fishing.
Super clean. Loved the video. I also fish lake Erie but out of Conneaut. My wife and I spent 10 days out of the lake. Just came back home September 3 and I'm ready to go back out. Hopefully the last week of the month. Thanks again for a good video crist
It’s probably a big rainbow or a big steelhead or and possibly even a king salmon or coho. We got them here in the Canadiens at all time. No one fishes for them anymore. You gotta put down the right stuff.
I'm in my 3rd year walleye fishing in erie. aside from rough water what are other reasons the fisherman aren't out. many times we go out and get skunked but are also nearly the only guys out. i feel like I'm missing some vital information about when they are biting
This time of year if you go out of Walnut Creek marina in Pennsylvania I think you would do well in around 60 feet of water. A lot of Great Lakes fishing and where you go is depending on the migration of the fish..
I have a boat similar in size and layout to yours. I like to keep it super clean. I even rinse my crawlers before putting them on ice and in my bait box, so they are super clean too! lol
We’ve been going out at 3 o’clock in the afternoon after work already just in May and June and we’re having 28-36 evenings we usually stay till about 9 o’clock, and then head in and all kinds of walleye and steelhead rainbows, even some coho on the Canadian side
Super Clean….was at Raystown for all of last week. Thought I saw you and your Dad in the cove of Shy Beaver, wanted to say hello but also didn’t want to bother you, or the guy I thought was you. Anyhow, I enjoy ur videos. They’re real.
Not really those been coming in and out of Lake Erie since I was a kid where I live in Canyon in Port Stanley Harbor, they used to anchor outside the harbour and wait for the green elevator. All the time our harbour was always full of those and anchored off outside waiting to do their load. It’s probably a grain ship
Not sure if you lost a lot of fish but Jason needs a few pointers on tripping dipsys..... Don't lower the rod and if set right you just need a tap on the rod handle.... Great video " I'm part of tiny boat nation"
Nice video man that fish could be a white bass we've gotten a few decent size white bass up there. Ive been having pretty good luck with gulp worms on the crawler harnesses if you pull them through a school of small perch they have a hard time nipping the tail off. Super clean
Those big ships or cargo ships. Plus I notice you're going 2mph. I have chartered for the last 33 years and I'm just giving you some advice.I'm not telling you what to do but I always had better luck at going 1.2 mph to 1.4 mph And no faster than . And every year I have very good luck Plus if you get a chance Stop at fisherman's haven out by fairview about Five or six miles from Is poor richard bait and tackle And see if they have the black. And purple large scale single Willow leaf worm harness They are made by eyemax lures And I have had extremely good luck with that Specific lure every year. You might want to run it out.About a hundred and eighty feet on number three of your big depsy diver. good luck and god bless
Lol looked like dad n freind were enjoying doing the “work” Von was Captain that day and keeping the boat on course, thats a job in itself if you ever trolled the big Lakes!
@@BestDamAngler007lol thanks for your comment. My dad and buddy enjoyed what they were doing and we all came home happy from a great day on the water! The currents definitely kept me occupied driving that day though haha

Good good old Lake Erie

Watching hillbillies catch fish is anything but “Epic”. Hey Cletus, show us the boats in the parking lot some more!
Easy fishing in the last 5 years try 15 years ago
Is Walizer, J. A cop? That looks like an academy shirt

It's a big shad. Cisco
2 mile per hour seems a little bit fast for me. I always go 0.9 to 1.2 no faster and no slower. And I’ve always had really good luck that Speed
might be a big perch
Big shad
It’s a stripper, they andromedas. They live in fresh and saltwater. They can get from 10-30 lbs.
Looked like a big ass carp to me lol
Maybe that mystery fish was a drum
No it wasn’t, not trying to sound rude. From don’t have stripes nor are they silver. They are tan/brown. We catch several every weekend trolling Erie
Bulk freighter, grain, coal, iron ore, Think Edmond Fitzgerald,,,,
Probably a grain boat

it looks like an asian carp.
That fish was prolly a white bass. They look just like that.
Whitefish.
What's so hard about riding in a boat and reeling in a rod. Real fisherman cast.
Do you ever help with doing anything? All you ever do is just walk around and let everyone else do everything.
Lol looked like dad n freind were enjoying doing the “work” Von was Captain that day and keeping the boat on course, thats a job in itself if you ever trolled the big Lakes!
@BestDamAngler007 Apparently he's always the captain because he NEVER does anything!!! It looked like it was a chore for him to just grab the net.
@@BestDamAngler007lol thanks for your comment. My dad and buddy enjoyed what they were doing and we all came home happy from a great day on the water! The currents definitely kept me occupied driving that day though haha
Cuper Slean. The definitely was a Striped Tarpon.
