- We set out on an adventure to explore the back trails of the Carolinas & Tennessee. With the season changing we were excited to go see the trees and colors. As soon as we got to see mountains we were not disappointed with the contrast of colors and rich warm reds and yellows.
Day 1: We booked a site at this amazing Hipcamp in Mars Hill North Caroline. What made this site so epic was the cool abandoned runway and the views at the top of the mountain next to the campsite. If you are looking to book this camp site the photos show the campsite being at the tip where you see the opening and epic views however that is not the site (link below).

Day 2: We headed to meet the group in Hot Springs NC. Small town know for its hot spring. You can reserve a time to go and spend some relaxing time in a tub with natural hot springs water. This was not part of the trip but something cool to do if you are in the area. From here we headed into the back trails throughout Scraggy Ridge, Hurricane Gap, & Ramsey Gap Area. We camped at Cosbys Creek which was great to have bathrooms and be in the midst of beautiful trees.

Day 3: After getting Mike's broken axle cut off we headed i40 towards Asheville to find the entrance to Hurricane Creek. We moved slowly through the trail to end up at Max Patch a must hike to the top of the mountain with 360 views of all and only mountains. We got done late and made it to camp in the pitch black with some rain at North Mills River Camp Ground.

Day 4: We made our way through Brevard NC for breakfast and fuel. Hit a short easy trail through the mist and then called it a day for off-roading and went into town for shopping and exploring

Ive been debating selling some gold and overlanding my 2020 tundra and after watching this I’m sold that looks like the most fun I’ve ever seen !!!!! Definitely worth it fun freedom nature. Heck yeah 👍🏻 thanks for the video definitely subbed . I have a gold and silver stacking channel and most the people that watch my videos don’t believe in selling our gold and silver stack for fun stuff but ha ha I’m doing it . The family would love this . Cheers bro
Thanks bro! I’ll def check the channel out. And get out there with that tundra and enjoy nature!
Enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing. Dante didn’t waste any time adding that S/C after they came available lol
Hahah that things is a unit!! Got to drive it for a bit and everyone needs a supercharger!!
It is beautiful up I'm the hot sprimgs and mars hill areas of western nd, so glad I only live a hour and 45 minute drive from kingsport,TN where I live.
It is even more beautiful driving north ON Interstate 26 from mars hill into the Cherokee national forest up by erwin,TN an up on holston and down mountains up by Hampton TN and cloudland,TN .
It is a beautiful area and can’t wait to go back!
Great video. I’m in an old Dodge but enjoy everyone’s videos. My Ramcharger should fit anywhere that Tundra does.
That broken axle makes me love my solid axle.
Thanks bro! Yes if only they made a solid axle tundra!!!
And those rams are beast we’ve been wheeling with a couple guys that have one and they are tanks for sure
@@overlandtundras yeah I’ve had mine 16 yrs. I’ve been all over the southwest and Baja. We moved to SC so I’m scouting the trails out here now. Thanks, looking forward to watching more of your stuff.
@@blueduster74 appreciate you and will let you know whenever we are in the area!
Great video!
Thanks bro!
Nice wheeling and you ended up not far from our house. Pinnacle is a nice drive to do when you just want a nice, easy ride through the woods. Great video and if I followed things correctly, the Sequoia did Hurricane Creek in 2wd. Is that right?
Yes pinnacle is a beautiful area! Yes sequoia aired down and rear locker did all Hurricane in 2wd.
Off the main road on pinnacle we saw some fun side roads are those no trespassing?
As far as I know, all of the land is private.
Yo what tracks (music) did you use? The cinematics were putting out some awesome vibes! 👌👌
I’ll have to check which ones they were but they are from epidemic.com
@@overlandtundras love to know which ones!
Great video brotha. Which size wiper blades did you get?
Thanks bro size is 26 and 24
Sweet rig man, what front bumper is that you have
Tundra is an ARB
Where was that big mud hole at 12:36?
I’ll have to check the gps since we hit so many trails. Hit me up on Instagram. Overland tundras.
What are these trails called and how do I find them? Need to take my yoda up there
We will be back up there October 22nd if you want to join.
They are all service roads or trails.
Main one is hurricane creek. You can google maps that one
@@overlandtundras if it was the 21 I could I gotta work the 22😫
Hey brother, what size wheels and what size tires are you running on your Tundra?
37x12.5x17
My tundra had a 38 gallon tank? Does yours by chance have that or the 26 gallon?
Yes 26 gallons and it’s Terrible at 9.6 mpg hahah
@@overlandtundras still my favorite truck. When I bought mine I was unaware they had 2 different tanks. I’m lucky I landed the 38 gallon
@@shwugyytcodm yes that’s a huge plus!!!
where can i get some merch?
I will be running another batch soon I’ll keep you posted
I've been trying to find places to go camping without paying a bunch of money
Hurricane creek has plenty of spots for primitive camping.
Well my 4 wheel drive isn't working right now like always lol so I'm trying to stay on the easier trails and I don't do any rock crawling either I'd rather play in the mud lol
Hey just came across your channel and I'm sure you've addressed this before but what tow mirrors are you running?
Hey bro link below. They are the best! Toyota oem tow mirrors are lame so got these and they are amazing
amzn.to/3Z34zuR
@@overlandtundras You're the man! They look really good on your rig 👍
@@andrewsills2089 I appreciate you. I tow a lot of toys so they are essential
Do you have a file to download route?
I’ll have to go thru my Gaia I think I recorded it
would you like to get some free led lights?
What do you have?
@@overlandtundras email sent
So cringey seeing all 8 of you inflate at the same time in the parking lot.
While exploring end of the trail ended at a state park 🤷♂️
Great video!
Thank you!!
