Mercyful Fate will usually have more than 2 🎸 solo on each song. The Bell Witch has this groovy bass line and riff and at least 4 solos 🖤 in under 5 minutes. You just can't go wrong with the King, regardless of the song you listen to. Thank you guys for promoting great music, awesome job!!
Need to do more of him yes every cd he changes his paint on his face this band formed in 1978 hes 65 just had a b day he still kicking ass you 2 rock, still to this day hes dose both bands
Got me a pleasant surprise when I bought their debut album Melissa in 1983, from our Danish band. Fantastic rhythm shifts and cool riffs, as well as a lead singer who has a vocal that can not be imitated. Kind regards from an old boy from Denmark.Up the irons

This song is from Mercyful Fate's 1994 album "Time" the second album back from their early 80s stint. King's solo band was in hiatus at this point too as the music industry was going thru the Grunge Era at the time. Man, the early 90s sucked for 80s Metal fans. We honestly didn't know if true metal would ever come back. But luckily it did by the mid to late 90s. 1997 was kinda the turn around year. Metallica released their double albums Load and Reload in 1996 and 97. Megadeth was still putting out albums but the put out a stinker in '99 with "Risk." Boy did that album suck. Same goes for "Super Collider." Thought it was OK upon first listen, but after another good listen I realized it was "Risk v2.0." But anyway, yeah, 90s Mercyful Fate stuff is pretty good. But different than King's solo stuff, but somewhat similar in tone.
Witches' Dance > Symphony of Destruction Marty and Dave are a great duo, but multiple factors hold back Countdown. So it's a lesser Marty/Dave vs a robust Shermann/Denner. In The Shadows is my fave MF and more of it carries into Time than Rust carries into Countdown.
'The Oath', 'Come To The Sabbath', &/or 'Nightmare' off of Mercyful Fate's Don't Break The Oath. For King Diamond solo, 'Black Horsemen' off of Abigail & 'The Wedding Dream' off of Conspiracy.
Mercyful Fate rocks. You should listen to The Uninvited Guest. On Witches Dance they have Snowy Shaw on drums and Sharlee D'Angelo from Arch Enemy on bass. Guitars by Michael Denner and Hank Shermann. On The Uninvited Guest they have Bjarne T Holm on drums. Denner and Shermann has a band called Denner/Shermann. They have released a couple of album. Go check out Son of Satan and Satan"s Tomb. In this band they have Snowy Shaw on drums, Mark Grabowski on bass and vocalist Sean Peck. He sounds a little like King Diamond and the music are very alike to Mercyful Fate
Mercyful Fate has always been very different musically than King Diamond as a band, both greath and influential, guys. Keep learniang and you are nice.
Mercyful Fate is more about the occult and satanism than his namesake band. I love both Mercyful Fate and his namesake band Great reaction video as always.
Interesting choise. Any song from their first 2 albums or the nuns have no fun EP would have been better because that's what most people consider as their best era but what ever

King Diamond is the Vincent Price of Heavy Metal.
King always surrounded himself with legendary musicians
I have always said the same thing . You can’t be a slouch and play in any of his bands . Your skills have to be tight !
@@morbid1 The Abigail lineup was probably his best but His current lineup is still fantastic. He knows talent
@@Husdog6989 I agree
Sadly the Spider's & Graveyard are exceptions, Darrin Anthony is a fuckin' boring drummer. Can't understand how King hadn't noticed it...
Because King himself is an amazing musician too.
Cmon guys you gotta do a song off Abigail next!
Yes, Black Horsemen

Like I've said before.... King Diamond / Mercyful Faith was my go to when I was mad att my parents.
Anoyed the hell out of them... 😂🤘
Much Love
Great reaction thanx for getting back to KING OR MERCY

You guys should check out The Bell Witch by Mercyful Fate.
For an absolutely wicked sample of King's solo stuff, check out Bye Bye Missy.

Any song off the King Diamond Abigail album. It’s a masterpiece. Black Horsemen is my favorite.
I love king diamond and Mercyful fate
Thanks for your reaction! Now react The invisible Guest live Monster Of Rock 96

exactly!
symphony of destruction, it hit me right in the first chorus!
Great song as usual from MF. Never understood the reason King brough in the dog into this video.
very accurate on turbonergro, they are super into king diamond/mf
KING!!!!!!!!!!
Do abrigail
🔥🔥🔥
Great song, first two MF albums Melissa and Don’t Break The Oath as well as The Beginning are the best though 🤘🤘
Bom! O riff do refrão tem uma pegada parecida só do Megadeth, mas desculpe a sinceridade acho que o Davi cresceu escutando Mercyfall 🤘🤘
Merciful Fate Is Way Before "Symphony Of Destruction"
Fun fact: Symphony of Destruction came out in 1992. Witches' Dance came out in 1994.
Interesting choise. Any song from their first 2 albums or the nuns have no fun EP would have been better because that's what most people consider as their best era but what ever
This must be some new stuff....maybe snowie on drums??
the old mercyful is greater......
King Diamond is good. But Mercyful Fate is way better
Probably you like MF more, but here I am who doesn't, so it is not "way better"
Nah... both have their merits
